Threshold Ramp
20250230664 · 2025-07-17 ·

A threshold ramp adapted to be positioned adjacent to a threshold of a doorway and includes connecting plates; pivot mechanisms connecting the connecting plates; a plurality of ramp sections transversally connected between the connecting plates, U-shaped channels connecting adjacent ramp sections; a locking clamp located at a distal end of each one of the U-shaped channels; a prong located on each one of the U-shaped channels, each one of the prongs engages with the corresponding locking clamp of the U-shaped channel; and cables connecting the connecting plates. Each one of the pluralities of ramp sections rotate independently from each other, in regard to the first and the third connecting plates; and the first and the second pivot mechanisms move the first and the third connecting plates from an undeployed position to a deployed position, extending the ramp sections across the threshold when in the deployed position.

RAMP COMPONENT SYSTEM
20260021981 · 2026-01-22 ·

A ramp system is disclosed which may include first and second components. The first component may include horizontal and vertical portions, and a hook. The horizontal portion may be supported by a lip of a structure, and may have a width equivalent to a length of the lip. The vertical portion may be coupled with, and hang downward from, the horizontal portion, and may have the same width as the horizontal portion. The hook may be coupled with the vertical portion, and may have the same width as the horizontal portion. The second component may include a protrusion and channel. The protrusion may have a width equal or less than the width of the horizontal portion, and be supported by the hook. The channel may be coupled with the protrusion, and have the same width. The channel may receive a planar component which forms a sloped surface of a ramp.

Ascending mechanised access ramp (A-MAR)

There is an access ramp system for access between a first and a second object. The second object is elevated with respect to the first object. The system includes a supporting frame mountable to the first object; a casing box mounted to the supporting frame; a sliding ramp installed to slide inside the casing box; and a deployment mechanism for automatically moving the sliding ramp between a stand-by and a fully deployed position. In the deployed position, a nose of the sliding ramp is raised to a height equal with the second object and is engaged with the second object. In the deployed position, the sliding ramp and casing box extend across a vertical gap and a horizontal gap between the first and second objects. An upper surface of the sliding ramp and casing box defines a support surface for supporting people or objects moving between the first and second objects.

ROBOT-DEPLOYABLE ACCESSIBILITY SYSTEM

A module for use in a robot-deployable modular accessibility system. The module includes a block, an attachment portion, and a gripping portion. The attachment portion is configured to attach the module to another module. The gripping portion is configured to enable a robot to grip and handle the module. The robot-deployable modular accessibility system includes a plurality of modules. The plurality of modules is configured to be assembled by the robot to form a structure. Also, a method of assembling the robot-deployable modular accessibility system by a robot.

Portable accessible ramp system

An accessible ramp system that comprises lightweight platforms comprised of plastic and/or recycled plastic. To provide strength and rigidity to the platform, a radially extending configuration of reinforcing stringers are used on the bottom side thereof. Each stringer extends from the center of the platform wherein an optional center support leg can be received. The thickness of each stringer generally orthogonal to the platform's flat surface tapers from the center where it is thickest to the perimeter of the platform where it is the thinnest. The radially extending stringer are joined together by a plurality of generally circumferentially extending cross stringers. The stringer web, inspired by the giant Victoria water lily, acts to substantially stiffen the platform while minimizing weight.

Staircase wheelchair ramp assembly

A staircase wheelchair ramp assembly for transporting wheelchair bound occupants down a staircase includes a base platform and a ramp member. The base platform is supported adjacent to a staircase and is movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, the base platform is positioned atop a staircase. The base platform supports inner and outer tracks that are configured to receive and guide inner and outer wheels of the wheelchair along the base platform over the staircase. The ramp member is pivotably coupled to one end of the base platform and is movable between a raised, substantially horizontal position and a lowered position supported on the base platform. The ramp member includes inner tracks that are aligned with the inner tracks of the base platform when the ramp member is in the lowered position.
