Whole coffee based processes
A process for preserving the organoleptic characteristics of coffee-based products and extending their shelf lives, having the steps of roasting the green coffee beans and placing it in a chamber with an inert gas atmosphere, first milling of the roasted coffee beans under inert gas conditions to a size between seventy five (75) and five hundred (500), second milling the previously milled roasted coffee beans under refrigerated conditions to ensure that the size of the bean particles fall between ten (10) and thirty (30) microns and jet milling the first and second milled coffee beans using a closed, or semi-closed, loop of inert gas jet mill to bring the bean particles' size between one tenth (0.1) and less than ten (10) microns resulting in an ultrafine powder. Micro-encapsulating or agglomerating the ultrafine powder with food ingredients, resulting in coated roasted whole coffee granules.

Compositions of whole green coffee bean products and whole hemp products
Disclosed are novel processing methods for green coffee beans that result in novel green coffee bean products, including products that incorporate whole green coffee beans which is combined with a whole hemp powder or CBD. Methods for processing green coffee beans include selecting whole coffee beans in their fresh green unroasted state with naturally-occurring levels of phytonutrients, sterilizing and drying them, applying iterative grinding processes and stabilization techniques, all while avoiding high temperatures. A similar method is used to prepare a whole hemp powder, which may then be combined with the whole green coffee bean powder.

Coffee bean package assembly
Some examples described herein include coffee bean packaging assemblies that integrate a packaging body with a grinding mechanism (e.g., a burr grinder). The example coffee bean assemblies described provide storage advantages (e.g., coffee beans and grinders do not need to be separately stored and located when wanting to dispense freshly ground coffee), as well as travel advantages (e.g., a separate coffee grinder does not need to be remembered packed when traveling).

FREEZE-DRIED COFFEE POWDER AND A METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The present invention provides a method for the manufacture of a freeze-dried coffee powder, the method comprising: providing a coffee extract having from 40 wt % to 55 wt % solids; adding gas to the coffee extract in an amount of from 1 NL/kg to 5 NL/kg of coffee extract, to provide a gas-containing coffee extract at above atmospheric pressure; depressurising the gas-containing coffee extract to form a foamed coffee extract; cooling the foamed coffee extract to below −40° C. without shear, or with low shear, to form a frozen coffee extract, grinding the frozen coffee extract to a powder; and drying the powder, wherein the step of cooling the foamed coffee extract to below −40° C. comprises: (i) cooling the foamed coffee extract to a first temperature; (ii) cooling the foamed coffee extract from the first temperature to a second temperature lower than the first temperature; and (iii) cooling the foamed coffee extract from the second temperature to below −40° C., wherein the first temperature is 1° C. above a freezing point of the foamed coffee extract and wherein the second temperature is 3° C. below the freezing point, wherein step (ii) has a duration of from 5 to 90 minutes, preferably 10 to 60 minutes.
