Step clip fastening system and method
A step clip fastening device, the step clip fastening device comprising: an elongated base strip having a first end and a second end, wherein a female locking part is attached to the first end and a male locking part is attached to the second end; a plurality of step clip sets extending substantially perpendicularly upwards from the base strip, wherein each of the step clip set comprising at least two step clips arranged in a back-to-back configuration, wherein a step clip is attached at each of the first end and the second end of the base strip; an anchor protruded at a center of each of the step clip; and one or more tabs extending substantially perpendicularly downwards from the base strip between two corresponding step clips facing each other.
Ventilated athletic flooring systems and methods of assembling the same
A ventilated flooring system may generally include a base, a substructure, a top surface, a control box, an air mover, and a sensor. The base, the substructure, and the top surface may form a floor within which the sensor is disposed. The sensor may measure properties of air within the floor, sending measurements to the control box. The control box may activate and deactivate the air mover based on measurements from the sensor and control logic. In some examples, the air mover is connected to an HVAC system and routes air output from the HVAC system into the floor. Further, the ventilated flooring system may also include a second sensor for measuring ambient air, an alarm for providing notice of malfunctions, and/or networking capability that allows for remote monitoring of the system.
A Modular Platform Assembly and a Method of Assembling a Modular Platform
There is disclosed a modular platform assembly including a plurality of legs (18), a plurality of floor beams (20a,b,c), and a plurality of connectors (24a,b,c,d) for connecting the legs (18) and the floor beams (20a,b,c). Each said connector (24a,b,c,d) comprises: a downwardly open blind recess (59) with a closed top end (60) and an open bottom end (62); and an upwardly open blind recess (64) with a closed bottom end (66) and an open top end (68). The legs (18) are mounted into the downwardly open blind recesses (59) of the connectors (24a,b,c,d) and the floor beams (20a,b,c) are mounted into the upwardly open blind recesses (64) of the connectors (24a,b,c,d) such that the legs (18) extend downwardly from the floor beams (20a,b,c).
Universal Fastener for Decking
A fastener for attaching grooved decking planks to a support member has a body defining an attachment opening spacing apart opposing legs that may extend from a lateral shoulder. The body may include a planar portion The legs may have varying front or rear edge configurations. The front end may have downward extending teeth. A nose may extend from the front end while a tail may extend from the rear end of the body. Adjacent fasteners may be joined by their respective noses and tails to form a collated series of fasteners.
SYSTEM FOR SECURING SLATS FOR FORMING A RAISED FLOOR OR DECK
The system for removably securing slats juxtaposed to form a deck, for example for a terrace, includes fasteners disposed in rows on level floor or joist or beam structure supports oriented perpendicular to the axis of the slats. The fasteners have a device for securing the supports to the slats. A plurality of impermeable channels is disposed parallel for a level floor, or at a rate of one impermeable channel for each joist or beam support. The top surface of the support, a device for removable securing and a device for positioning provided on the profiled section are covered. The fasteners are made of a flexible elastic material, and the device for positioning allows clearance in a direction of an axis of the channel.
HIDDEN FASTENER UNIT AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A fastener unit and related method for securing a board to a support is provided. The fastener unit includes a spacer block, a grip element extending from the spacer block and configured to fit in and engage a groove of the board, and one or more resilient compression elements joined with the spacer block. The resilient compression elements can be vertically compressible so at least a portion of it can move from an open mode to a compression mode and fit within, then forcibly expand within, the groove, thereby securing the spacer block in a position adjacent the groove to establish a gap between the board and another board. Related methods of use also are provided.
HIDDEN DECK FASTENER
A hidden deck fastener or clip has a H-shaped body having a top portion having a thickness, a top surface and a bottom surface, and an integrally formed leg extending downwardly from the bottom surface, the leg defines channels in opposing sides thereof. A stepped fastener receiving opening is formed in the top portion and the leg. The opening has a first region formed into a part of the thickness of the top portion and a second region aligned and contiguous with the first region extending through the leg. The first region is a counterbore having a flat bottom. The fastener has a pull-out force resistance at least 50 percent greater than a comparable fastener having a countersink fastener receiving opening.
LEVELING SHIM WITH FLEXIBLE COUPLING MEANS
A leveling shim (1) for building is described, comprising a plastic plate (2), coupling means and through holes. The coupling means comprise flexible coupling means (5) able to be housed in at least one cavity (6) of the plate (2), and at least one coupling through hole (4).
HIDDEN DECK CLIP SYSTEM
A deck patio is described with hidden fasteners that can comprise a clip body defined by a web extending in length from a first end to a second end, wherein the web defines a web width, web top, and web bottom. There are two retaining lips extending outwardly from the web width at the web top between the ends, which in certain embodiments the web top. The retaining lips are configured to extend into deck plank side slots. The clip further comprises at least one plank spacer that is equal to or wider than the web width. The plank spacer located between the web top and the web bottom. Extending from the bottom part of the clip body is a runner slot plate, which is spaced apart from the web bottom via a connector peg. The runner plate is sized to slidingly engage with a deck joist runner channel in a joist runner.
Tile and support structure
In one aspect of a tile and support structure, a support structure may be engaged with a top portion of a pedestal. The support structure may be formed with a generally vertical spine having at least one rail extending outward from a distal end thereof. The spine and rail(s) may be configured to secure one or more tiles, which tiles may be formed with a groove on at least one edge thereof, and wherein one or more rails may be positioned within the groove.
