Flexible floor mat incorporating LED lighting
An up-lighting floor mat includes floor matting that defines an upwardly-facing surface and an opposed downwardly-facing surface when supported atop an upwardly-facing support surface, and that is formed from a first flexible material that enables the up-lighting floor mat to be rolled up for transport or storage; and a first elongate up-lighting assembly positioned within a first elongate slot defined through the floor matting to emit light upwardly from the first elongate slot, wherein at least one elongate edge defined by the first up-lighting assembly is bonded to at least one edge of the floor matting that defines the first elongate slot.
MAGNETIC FLOORING SYSTEM ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
A liquid adhesive coating composition that cures into a solid form, used to non-permanently adhere interior floor or wall coverings to substrate floor or wall surfaces respectively, includes a polymer incorporating iron or other paramagnetic, superparamagnetic, ferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic ingredients, that becomes permanently adhered to the substrate as it cures, and thereafter provides a low-tack adhesive surface that is also magnetically attractive, upon which magnetized floor or wall coverings including certain types of carpet, linoleum, vinyl, wallpaper, and other types of magnetically-backed coverings can be subsequently installed. The combined low-tack adhesive and magnetic adhesion qualities of the cured composition of the invention allow for the magnetically-backed floor or wall coverings to be sufficiently well adhered to the surface of the cured adhesive composition to remain in place during normal usage while retaining the ability for the coverings to be subsequently removed, repositioned or replaced without damaging the respective coverings, adhesive coating composition layer, or substrate.
ANISOTROPIC TATAMI COVER
An anisotropic tatami cover can provide different hues depending on the angle from which it is viewed, and is therefore highly aesthetically valuable. The anisotropic tatami cover is made of weft yarns made of rush grass or artificial rush grass and warp yarns, is woven in such a manner that the warp yarns are exposed on the surface, and has a color difference E of 6.0 or more between the weft and warp yarns.
Clean Room Facility
A clean room facility which prevents an insect from entering a clean room at a low cost is provided. The clean room facility includes: a finish sheet that is provided on an upper side of a floor base of the clean room and forms a floor surface of the clean room; and a base sheet that is provided between the floor base and the finish sheet. The base sheet: is provided also under a panel member which serves as a side wall of the clean room; and is extended to a vicinity of an exterior wall of a building including the clean room.
Decorative sheet
To provide a decorative sheet which has anti-skid properties, is resistant to abrasion, exhibits high abrasion resistance even when bonded to a floor or road surface over which pedestrians or vehicles traverse, does not cause pedestrians or vehicles to skid, and does not suffer from damage or peeling. [Resolution Means] A decorative sheet having a first bead coat layer comprising a resin and particles having a median diameter of from 20 m to 60 m, a second bead coat layer which is coated on the first bead coat layer and which includes a resin and particles having a median diameter of from 20 m to 60 m, a design layer and an adhesive layer.
Anti-slip, noise reducing pad directly applied and adhered to the back of flooring materials and method
Flooring material has an anti-slip, noise reducing pad directly self-adhered to a bottom surface. The pad is formed by applying a foamable PVC material is directly on the bottom surface of the flooring and heating the PVC material to foam the PVC material. The PVC material may then be cooled to form the pad with a definite formed shape having a resilient outer surface layer and a spongy foamy inner structure.
Improvements in or relating to flooring
A welded synthetic floor-covering material which is formed from one or more adjacent pairs of flooring elements wherein each adjacent pair of flooring elements is welded together by a symmetrical lower weld which engages each flooring element substantially equally; and wherein the symmetrical lower weld is substantially free from a metallic element; and a method of preparing a welded synthetic floor-covering material having a layout suitable for covering a pre-determined area wherein the welded synthetic floor-covering material comprises one or more adjacent pairs of flooring elements which have a floor-engaging lower surface and wherein the method comprises the following steps: (a) providing a floor plan for the pre-determined area wherein the floor plan defines a layout of flooring elements including positions of one or more welds; (b) providing a length of flooring and forming a groove on the floor-engaging surface of the flooring at the position of each of the one or more welds; (c) cutting the length of flooring to form the one or more adjacent pairs of flooring elements; and (d) arranging the flooring elements according to the layout and welding together each of the one or more adjacent pairs of flooring elements to form a symmetrical lower weld which engages each flooring element substantially equally such that the welded synthetic floor-covering material is formed.
Dry adhesive backed flooring and method for manufacture
A dry adhesive backed flooring for being installed in a flat orientation on a subfloor, the flooring including a sheet flooring material and a double-sided sheet adhesive married to the flooring material. The installed flooring is substantially free of bubbles and wrinkles and the flooring remains substantially flat as initially applied and does not significantly rise from the subfloor, bubble or otherwise detach from the subfloor under normal use conditions for the flooring.
RESILIENT FLOORING PRODUCT AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Described herein are resilient floor coverings produced by using digitally printed UV-cured inks and exhibiting high adhesion properties between an ink layer and a wear layer. Also described herein are methods for manufacturing same. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
