MESO-ABRASIVE DENTIFRICE AND SYSTEM FOR USING SAME
A meso-abrasive dentifrice formulation of from 15 wt % to 30 wt % a first abrasive, from 10 wt % to 15 wt % a second abrasive, and excipients. The second abrasive is silica and is different from the first abrasive. A system is also disclosed for cleaning a human oral cavity having the disclosed meso-abrasive dentifrice formulation and an oscillating cup for delivery of the dentifrice formulation. The system demonstrates a Cleaning Efficiency Index (CEI) of from 2.34 to 2.45. The system demonstrates an Increase in Gloss Score of greater than 28 and a system Relative Dentin Abrasiveness (RDA) value less than 100.
Depilatory wax additive and process
A depilatory wax additive and process. The depilatory wax additive may modify a depilatory hard wax composition to include visual, olfactory, or skin treatment components. A depilatory wax additive may include molded hard wax component and glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment. A preexisting hard wax composition of solid particles may be heated to a liquid. The depilatory wax additive may be added to the liquefied preexisting hard wax composition, mixed, and heated to disperse the glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment in the wax mixture.
Core shell silica particles and use for malodor reduction
The present invention relates to core shell silica particles, wherein each core shell silica particle comprises a silica core, and a surface of the silica core is etched with metal silicate, the core shell silica particles prepared by: i) admixing an amount of silica particles in water with an amount of a base, wherein the base comprises a monovalent metal ion, to produce core shell silica particles, each core shell silica particle comprising a silica core, and a surface of the silica core etched with a silicate of the monovalent metal ion; and ii) reacting the core shell silica particles formed in step i) with a metal salt comprising a second metal ion, to form core shell silica particles comprising silicate of the second metal ion on the surface of the silica core.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR PROVIDING SKIN CARE BENEFITS
Compositions comprising mevalonolactone, mevalonic add, mevalonate, salts of mevalonic acid, mevalonolactone monohydrate, or any combination thereof and methods of use are provided for topical application for skin care, skin supplement, hair care, and oral care. More specifically, the present disclosure is directed towards compositions comprising mevalonolactone, mevalonic acid, mevalonate, salts of mevalonic acid, mevalonolactone monohydrate, or any combination thereof for providing a skin care benefit and/or multiple skin care benefits.
Oral Care Compositions and Methods
This application relates to novel black translucent oral care compositions useful for combining and delivering incompatible stannous fluoride or stannous chloride and potassium salts in a charcoal composition, for example, to provide effective caries prevention, protection against dental erosion, and relief from dental hypersensitivity. The compositions comprise stannous fluoride or stannous chloride, nitric acid or a water-soluble nitrate salt, a water-soluble alkali metal polyphosphate and more than 10% water, by weight of the composition.
Tablet including abrasive for dental cleaning
Consumable abrasive-containing oral hygiene tablets are described. The tablets include glycine as an abrasive. The glycine average (Mv) particle size may be greater than 45 μm. The tablets may be used with an oral irrigator and, when placed in the irrigator's fluid flow path, may disintegrate, release the abrasive, and improve the cleaning efficacy of the irrigator.
Oral care compositions and methods for the same
An oral care composition and methods for the same are disclosed herein. The oral care composition may include an orally acceptable vehicle, an anionic surfactant, and a nonionic surfactant. The anionic surfactant may include a C6-C18 fatty acid glutamate or a salt thereof, and the nonionic surfactant may include a C6-C18 alkyl polyglucoside. A weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the anionic surfactant may be from about 0.25:1 to about 9:1, or from about 1.8:1 to about 2.2:1.
COMPOSITIONS METHODS AND DEVICE FOR ENHANCING DENTAL CARE BASED ON DEAD SEA SALT AND CANNABINOID OR EXTRACT OF CANNABIS PLANT
The invention provides certain compositions and methods for dental care, which alone or in combination with other dental technologies can help to achieve better outcomes in terms of the enhancement of oral hygiene as regards to preservation of the healthy oral and/or dental flora, minimization or a reduction of the proportion of harmful bacteria, and further facilitate the enhancement of a more healthy appearance of teeth and gums. The oral formulation for improving oral and/or dental hygiene, and/or for enhancing the healthy appearance of teeth and gums, comprises Dead Sea salt and at least one synthetic, semi-synthetic or natural cannabinoid, a precursor, a derivative, or any combination thereof, or an extract of a Cannabis plant.
DENTIFRICE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING BICARBONATE SALT AND NEUTRAL AMINO ACID
Dentifrice compositions comprising water, bicarbonate salt, and glycine or a salt thereof are effective in treating dental plaque biofilm.
PARTICLES OF DRIED MICROFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE AND THE USE THEREOF
Hornificated microfibri Mated cellulose (MFC) particles are provided, which are useful as an abrasive material in personal care products. Personal care products comprising such particles are also provided.
