Uncoupling strip
A decoupling sheet (1) having a carrier plate (2) and a plurality of nubs (4) protruding from the carrier plate plane (3), wherein adjacent nubs (4) are arranged transversely to the lengthwise direction (5) and in the lengthwise direction (5) of the carrier plate (2). It is provided according to the invention that immediately adjacent nubs (4) transversely to the lengthwise direction (5) and in the lengthwise direction (5) of the carrier plate (2) have a nub base (10) of triaxial shape, especially with at least three leg sides (6b).
Method and apparatus for positioning heating elements
An underlayment system is provided that includes a plurality of bosses that emanate from a common base member. The bosses and bases preferably include an opening therethrough that will allow for subsequent layers of adhesive to interact and bond to each other. The bosses are also spaced in such a way to help secure a wire snugly therebetween.
Progressive stage load distribution and absorption underlayment system
A progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system that lies below a superstructure material which is exposed to percussive forces. The progressive stage load distributing and absorbing system is interposed between the superstructure material and a foundation. The system has a barrier layer that lies below the superstructure material and an underlayment infrastructure positioned below the barrier layer. Included in the underlayment infrastructure are hat-shaped absorbing members that have a relatively compliant stage subsystem and one or more relatively stiff stage subsystems.
Underlayment membrane
An underlayment membrane between a base surface and an outer coating of a building surface includes a base layer and multiple protrusions extending from the base layer to retain conditioning elements. The protrusions define a plurality of paths, between their side walls for the conditioning elements, which include: first straight portions defined by pairs of protrusions positioned side by side and spaced apart by a distance at most equal to the thickness of the conditioning elements, to hold them by friction; one or more second corrugated portions defined by two or more protrusions spaced apart by a predefined distance greater than the thickness of the conditioning elements and arranged in pairs aligned along lines, which obliquely intersect the path so that a conditioning element is retained by elastic-mechanical contrast with the side walls of the protrusions, the first and second portions of the paths being aligned with each other.
Floor heating system including membranes that are configured to be joined together to house a heating cable, and membrane system including such membranes
A membrane system includes a base membrane and a cover membrane. The base membrane is configured to be installed between a subfloor and floor tiles to allow movement of the floor tiles relative to the subfloor. The base membrane includes a base layer and studs projecting from the base layer. The studs are configured to hold a heating cable in place when the heating cable is positioned between adjacent ones of the studs. The studs have free ends that define pockets therein. The cover membrane is configured to be coupled to the base membrane to encapsulate the heating cable between the base membrane and the cover membrane. The cover membrane includes a cover layer and studs projecting from the cover layer. The studs on the cover membrane are configured to fit within the pockets in the base membrane to couple the cover membrane to the base membrane.

MODULAR MAT SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a modular mat system. More particularly, the disclosure is directed to a modular mat system with that may be built out using common pieces of mats. Specifically, a modular mat system with a mat piece with a top plate with inserts, a bottom plate with a plurality of tabs and recesses operative to engage with further mat pieces to build a mat system is discussed. The modular mat system is operative to remove water and other detritus from shoes of a user or other such platform moving across the mat system and feed it to a perimeter drain below the system.

A covering for underlays of flooring includes: a membrane with a base from which studs extend which protrude upward with respect to the laying plane, a draining layer which is joined in an upper region to the membrane at the top of the studs, and a layer for anchoring to the underlay of the flooring, joined in a lower region to the membrane at least at the base.
