A laminated foam composite backer board comprising: a foam core; a first adhesive layer on each face of the foam core; a polymeric film layer on the outer face of each first adhesive layer; a second adhesive layer on the outer face of each polymeric film layer; and a non-woven fabric layer on the outer face of each second adhesive layer.
Decoupling Mat and Floor Structure, in particular in a Building with a Decoupling Mat
The invention relates to a decoupling mat (1) with a continuous plastic layer (2), for example one fabricated via deep drawing, comprising elongated, rib-like formations (3) on a first broadside (B.sub.1), wherein the formations (3) simultaneously form groove-like recesses (5) on a second broadside (B.sub.2) lying opposite the first broadside (B.sub.1). In order to achieve a solution advantageous for use, emphasis is placed on having the formations (3) be bordered in their longitudinal extension (1) by sections (9) of a reduced height (h′) and/or width (c′), which simultaneously also form partial areas (10) of less depth (s′) and/or width (d′) bordered relative to the recesses (5). In addition, the invention relates to a floor structure, in particular in a building with a decoupling mat (1).
Separating membrane with improved adhesion and process for obtaining it
Separating membrane of plastic material, made up of a bossed and waterproof sheet which is coupled with a permeable base layer. The bosses are of the cylindrical type with a double diameter and have such a shape and arrangement as to feature improved adhesion on both faces. The gripping of the adhesive is increased in order to obtain greater tear strength, on the upper face, and at the same time increases the area of contact with the base layer for a greater resistance to delamination on the lower face. In particular, inside each chamber there is an internal crown, which divides it like a necking into two superimposed compartments having the same diameter, wherein the first compartment has a depth amounting to at least ⅓ of the total. A production process for obtaining the membrane is also disclosed.
UNCOUPLING MAT WITH HEATING ELEMENTS
An uncoupling mat includes a flexible plastic layer (2) made of plastic film with structuring that defines indentations (6) provided with undercuts (5) on a first, top side (4) and cavities (8) positioned between the indentations (6) on an opposite second, bottom side (7). A fleece or fabric (3) is securely connected to the bottom side (7) and covers the cavities (8). A cross-section of the indentations (6) in at least some corner regions (10) increases from the bottom side (7) toward the top side (4).

Floating floor system
A composite structure for a floating floor system including at least one layer of force muting material and a layer of formwork, wherein the layer of formwork is located on the at least one layer of force muting material wherein the layer of formwork is a half closed folded honeycomb structure or a relaxed honeycomb structure.
Floor underlayment that allows water flow therethrough in only one direction
A floor underlayment includes a fiber pad and a vapor barrier layer. The fiber pad includes reinforcement fibers and thermoplastic binder fibers binding the reinforcement fibers together. The vapor barrier layer has a bottom surface attached to the fiber pad, a top surface opposite of the bottom surface, and a matrix of holes extending through the top and bottom surfaces thereof. The holes are configured to allow moisture to flow through the holes in a downward direction from the top surface of the vapor barrier layer to the bottom surface of the vapor barrier layer while inhibiting water flow through the holes in an upward direction opposite of the downward direction.
Uncoupling Mat
An uncoupling mat includes a flexible plastic layer having indentations provided with undercuts on a first, top side and cavities positioned between the indentations on an opposite bottom side. A fleece or fabric is securely connected to the second side and covering the cavities. A plurality of weakening zones is formed in the top surface of the film-like plastic, which each extend between two rows of indentations in a straight line between opposing side edges of the plastic layer and allow the plastic layer to move substantially transversely to the direction of extension of the weakening zones. Some of a first group of weakening zones extend parallel to one another across the top surface of the film-like plastic. Some of a second group of weakening zones extend parallel to one another across the top surface of the film-like plastic and intersecting the first group of parallel weakening zones.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TILE FLOOR CONSTRUCTIONS
Flexible support screens and tile spacers for floating tile floor systems are described herein. The flexible support screens include a compressible body that is configured to engage a top surface of a structure. The compressible body has a plurality of channels configured to direct a fluid through the compressible body. The flexible support screen has a variable rate of compression upon receiving a force directed upon either the upper surface or the lower surface. The adhesive tiles spacers have a first side surface for engaging a first tile and a second side surface opposed to the first side surface for engaging a second tile. The adhesive spacers are configured to be compressible to absorb movement of the first tile and the second tile towards or away from each other.
Decoupling mat for a surface covering structure that can be covered by covering elements
A decoupling mat (1) for a surface covering structure that can be covered by covering elements has a strip- or plate-shaped compensation element (2) which has upwardly projecting formations (4) arising from a lower support plane (3), which formations from an upper covering plane (6) at a distance from the lower support plane (3) and are arranged spaced apart from one another and have at least in sections an undercut (8) along their periphery. A water-permeable cover is fixed on a bottom side (12) of the lower support plane (3) and prevents penetration by a viscous adhesive into the upwardly projection formations (4). On at least some formations (4), the undercuts (8) are arranged along a region, extending in a curved manner, along a side wall of the upwardly projecting formations. A plurality of the first undercuts (8) is oriented in a first direction and a plurality of second undercuts (8) is oriented in a second direction. The cover may have a perforation or consist of a water permeable textile woven fabric or sheet, or of a water permeable non-woven fabric (13). A plurality of adjacent formations (4) are respectively connected to one another by ventilation ducts (7) projecting from the lower support plane (3), wherein the ventilation ducts (7) do not extend up to the upper covering plane (6).
