STRUCTURAL/CONSTRUCTIONAL ELEMENT
A structural element, including a base portion and a connecting central pin, has its base portion formed hallow, and having an internal reinforcement in the shape of WOW or MOM, to connect these elements with an insertable central pin so that the cross-section of the pin corresponds to the shape of the chamber between the reinforcements, when the upper surface of the structural element has longitudinal grooves, and is made from a modified polymer or elastomeric material comprising India rubber mixtures. The foundation is monomer ethylene propylene diene or natural rubber or styrene-butadiene rubber and/or combinations of the natural rubber/styrene-butadiene rubber, or thermoplastic elastomers, whose base is monomer ethylene-propylene-diene or polypropylene/monomer ethylene-propylene-diene or polyvinylchloride, or thermoplastic vulcanizates, whose base is monomer ethylene-propylene-diene and polyethylene or natural and/or synthetic rubber, modified by polyethylene or polypropylene.

Field-assembled flooring systems with mold-resistant isolation boards
Described herein are methods for installing field-assembled flooring systems that include isolation boards on a wall frame, a subfloor, or on both the wall frame and the subfloor. The underlayment can be a hybrid design that includes a combination of isolation panels and cementitious product. The field-assembled flooring systems can use mold-resistant isolation boards to reduce or eliminate the chances of the onset of mold and effects from water damage. The isolation boards can be installed on floors alone, on walls alone, or on both floors and walls to reduce the onset of mold and/or to reduce damage from water.
BUILDING MATERIAL
Provided is a building material that is disposed between an inter-floor separation layer configured to separate floors of a building having a plurality of floors from each other and a bottom layer disposed above the inter-floor separation layer. The building material includes a support member disposed between the inter-floor separation layer and the bottom layer, having a top surface of which at least a portion contacts the bottom layer, and including a protruding portion protruding downward, extending in at least one direction, and having an inner space and a plurality of damping members disposed between the inter-floor separation layer and the support member and each of which has a lower plate contacting a portion of the inter-floor separation layer and an upper plate contacting a portion of the support member to allow the inter-floor separation layer to be spaced apart from the support member.
POLYMER FOAM SHEET AND BARRIER LAYER COMPOSITE
A moisture barrier layer-foamed polymeric composite sheet underlayment article comprising a foamed polymeric sheet and a moisture barrier layer adhered thereto is disclosed. In one aspect, cork particles are present in the composite.
Overlayment
A flooring system including a finished flooring layer and an overlayment to which the finished flooring layer is coupled. The overlayment has a closed cell foam layer, an adhesive layer applied to a side of the closed cell foam layer, and a peelable layer removably positioned on the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer having a positive coefficient sheer adhesion to the finished flooring layer over a period exceeding three weeks from application of the finished flooring layer to the adhesive layer.
SOUND DAMPENING PAD
A construction sound dampening pad is provided to avoid pseudo-adhesive state. The construction sound dampening pad mainly has the following features: a foamed layer, made of rubber or polymer materials through a foaming process, and formed with first and second surfaces; first and second porous fiber layers, both being a porous layer structure containing fiber materials, and respectively bonded on the first surface of the foamed layer and the second surface; they are bonded together by attaching the first porous fiber layer to the first surface and attaching the second porous fiber layer to the second surface when the foamed layer is still not cooled and solidified during the process of melting and foaming, so as to form a structure wherein part of the structure of the first and the second porous fiber layers penetrates into the first and second surface to achieve a strong and reliable bonding.
UNCOUPLING MAT
An uncoupling mat includes an uncoupling layer; a layer of adhesive underlying the uncoupling layer, the adhesive layer having a subfloor-bonding surface; and an entangled filament sheet overlying the uncoupling layer, the entangled filament sheet being a resilient three-dimensional web of extruded polymer monofilaments, the polymer monofilaments being heat welded at junctions to form an open network of tangled monofilament.
Floating floor
Floating floor (10) with at least one vibration-damping support (1) that is placed on a solid underground (5), whereby the support (1) comprises a relatively rigid support slat (3) provided with discrete vibration-damping elements (2) on one side, distributed at a regular distance from each other over the support slat (3), and whereby the support slat (3) is provided with a vibration-damping strip (4) on a second side opposite the first side extending in the longitudinal direction of the support slat (3), such that the support slat (3) is situated between the vibration-damping strip (4) and the discrete vibration-damping elements (2) that are placed between the floor (10) and the underground (5), such that the floor (10) rests on the underground (5) by means of the vibration-damping strip (4), the support slat (3) and the discrete vibration-damping elements (2), whereby no direct mutual contact is made between the support slat (3), the floor (10) and the underground (5).
