COSMETICS
[Technical problem] To suppress the occurrence of color streaks in a cosmetic comprising two or more kinds of pigments having different average particle diameters.
[Solution] A cosmetic comprises at least two kinds of pigments having different average particle diameters. The cosmetic preparation has a lightness L* defined by CIE 1976 L*a*b* color system of 65 or less. The lightness L* is determined by filling a borosilicate glass container having a shell diameter φ of 35 mm with the cosmetic preparation to a height of 10 mm, and measuring according to an SCI method from the bottom surface of the filled glass container with use of an illuminant C. The cospmetic comprises behenic acid or a derivative thereof, wherein the blending amount is 0.15 to 2% by mass based on the total amount of the cosmetic.
Method for the production of a dosage form
A method is described for producing a dosage form. Also described, are granules and tablets obtained by the method. The use of a surface-reacted calcium carbonate in such a method, a dosage form comprising the granules, the use of the granules, or the tablets and/or capsules, or the dosage form in a pharmaceutical product, a nutraceutical product, an agricultural product, a cosmetic product, a home product, a food product, a packaging product and a personal care product as well as pharmaceutical product, a nutraceutical product, an agricultural product, a cosmetic product, a home product, a food product, a packaging product and a personal care product including such granules, or the tablets and/or capsules, or the dosage form are also described.
Single Use Topical Solution Assembly
A single use topical solution assembly for single use hand sanitizing includes a capsule that is comprised of rupturable material. In this way the capsule can be ruptured by squeezing between a user's hands. A topical solution is contained within the capsule. The topical solution is released from the capsule when the capsule is ruptured. In this way the topical solution can sanitize the user's hands when the capsule is squeezed between the user's hands.
ZINC OXIDE POWDER, DISPERSION, PAINT, AND COSMETIC
A zinc oxide powder in which a BET specific surface area (X) of the powder is 1.5 m.sup.2/g or more and 65 m.sup.2/g or less, a value obtained by a formula: an apparent specific volume (mL/g) measured by a loose packing method of the zinc oxide powder/an apparent specific volume (mL/g) measured by a tapping method of the zinc oxide powder is 1.5 or more and 2.5 or less, and Formula (1) and Formula (2) shown below are satisfied.
A1/E2=aX+0.06 (1)
(M2−M1)/E2≥0.02 (2)
Heterogenous cosmetic ink composition for inkjet printing applications
A cosmetic ink composition comprises a particulate material, a polymeric dispersant having a weight average molecular weight of less than about 20,000 daltons, and a polymeric rheology modifier. The particulate material can have a Particle Size Distribution D50 of about 100 nm to about 2,000 nm. The cosmetic ink composition can undergo controlled syneresis, forming a weak colloidal gel phase and a particle-lean, low viscosity phase, which can be printed without interventions such as agitation, mixing, or re-circulation to homogenize the composition.
USE OF A MIXTURE OF LAUROYL MACROGOLGLYCERIDE AND POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL AS AN EXCIPIENT
The invention concerns the use, as a pharmaceutical or cosmetic excipient, of a composition which is solid at ambient temperature and in the form of individualized particles, said composition comprising: lauroyl macrogolglyceride, polyethylene glycol.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS FOR WASHING URUSHIOL AND METHODS OF TREATING URUSHIOL INDUCED CONTACT DERMATITIS
A composition and a method of washing urushiol off the surface of human skin. The composition includes a first solely C12 surfactant and a second solely C12 surfactant that are each in a non-buffered composition and the composition is free of each of the following: (1) any nonylphenol ethoxylate, (2) any pharmaceutically active drug or prodrug, or (3) any salt that affects the functional characteristics of either of the solely C12 surfactants.
Detergent compositions for washing urushiol and methods of treating urushiol induced contact dermatitis

Compositions for cosmetic raw material and methods for making the same
The instant invention relates to a composition for cosmetic raw material containing microcapsule containing at least one encapsulated material comprising at least one core and at least one layered coating surrounding said core, and the encapsulated material being at least one reflective particle. The invention further relates to a process for preparing the composition for cosmetic raw material containing microcapsule containing at least one encapsulated material comprising at least one core and at least one layered coating surrounding said core, and the encapsulated material being at least one reflective particle.
Oral Powder Mixture With Small Sized Particles
A powder mixture for oral delivery of active ingredients includes a population of particles and one or more active ingredients, the population of particles including at least two types of sugar alcohol particles. At least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles takes the form of i) non-directly compressible (non-DC) sugar alcohol particles or ii) directly compressible (DC) sugar alcohol particles that are not granulated sugar alcohol particles. At least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles has a particle size with more than 50% of the particles being below 250 microns, and at least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles is present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the powder mixture.
