Tape applicator with automatic tape arrangement during filling, and method for filling such an applicator
The invention relates to a strip applicator (1) for ensuring the joint between two plaster boards. The applicator comprises a coating container (4) wherein a strip unwinds in use, the container having a rear wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a top wall and two side walls, one of which forms a removable side cover for accessing the inside of the container. According to the invention, the lower wall comprises an opening (14) provided with a removable plug (15) for accessing the inside of the container, the opening being directed towards the upper wall of the container.
ON-SITE DRYWALL FABRICATION SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
In particular embodiments, an on-site drywall fabrication system is configured to perform on-site construction of drywall (e.g., plasterboard, wallboard, gypsum panel, sheet rock, gypsum board, etc.) over at least a portion of a framed (e.g., studded) wall (e.g., comprising one or more substantially vertical studs). In particular embodiments, the on-site drywall fabrication system is configured to utilize one or more drywall installation robots to fabricate drywall substantially directly on a framed wall. Generally speaking, the on-site drywall fabrication system may be configured to generate a substantially continuous, seamless drywall panel that extends along a particular portion of a wall. The system may, for example, utilize one or more sprayers that are configured to spray a suitable fill material between a first wall material (e.g., a first wall material applied via the first wall material spool) and a second wall material.
JOINT TAPE EMBEDDING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A joint tape embedding apparatus configured to determine the bonding and/or feel of embedding joint tape into a dry wall or wall board joint using a particular joint compound. The joint embedding apparatus is configured to allow the same user or different users to accurately repeat the determination of the bonding and/or feel attributes of the joint compound.
JOINT COMPOUND SPREADING TOOL FOR DRYWALL JOINT FINISHING
A hand tool is provided for the application of joint compound on wall board, having a planar blade affixed to an ergonomic handle. The blade has a concave arcuate working edge, wherein the concave arcuate curve extends the entire length of the working edge to each corner of the working edge. The concave arcuate working edge may be used to apply a self-feathered layer joint compound over drywall tape on planar butt joint or an inside corner joint. The blade is laterally flexible.
Painting Tool
A painting tool includes a body having a gripping portion, an abutting portion, and a projecting board. The gripping portion is located on a first side of the body and protrudes from an upper surface of the body. The abutting portion is formed on a bottom surface of the body and protrudes from a bottom of the gripping portion toward a second side of the body. The projecting board protrudes from the bottom surface of the gripping portion toward the second side of the body. A coupling groove is defined between the projecting board and the abutting portion and has an opening facing the second side of the body. A knife board includes a first side having a coupling portion coupled with the coupling groove. A levelling portion is formed on a second side of the knife board.
DRYWALL MUD APPLICATOR WHEELLESS CONTROL TUBE
A drywall mud applicator wheelless control tube is provided. The drywall mud applicator wheelless control tube has a plastic component (in an embodiment) having a rubber o-ring or spring which provides pressure to a slanted cylindrical ledge protrusion which allows the control tube to slide up and down a main mud applicator tube without the need for wheels on the control tube. As a result, the wheelless control tube increases the sliding and smoothness of the control tube as it slides over the main mud applicator tube.
PREFILL TOOL FOR FINISHING WALLBOARD JOINTS
A prefill tool for finishing wallboard joints is provided for finishing a wallboard joint, and includes a box assembly defining a hopper, having a top wall and a front wall constructed and arranged for engaging the wallboard joint. The front wall partially defines a gate dimensioned for dispensing joint compound stored in the hopper. Also, the gate is located on a skid plate mounted on the front wall, the skid plate having a main portion, and a gate portion partially defining the gate being displaced from a plane defined by the main portion.
Plastering machine having foldable upright rail
A plastering machine having foldable upright rails includes a base (1), upright rails (2), and a plastering pedestal (3), wherein the upright rails (2) are mounted on the base (1). The upright rails (2) include a first left rail piece (6) and a second left rail piece (7) which are connected to each other by a first left rail articulation piece (16) and a second left rail articulation piece (17). The right rail (5) includes a first right rail piece (8) and a second right rail piece (9) which are connected to each other by a first right rail articulation piece (18) and a second right rail articulation piece (19). The left rail (4) and the right rail (5) can ordinarily be in a folded state. The plastering machine has a simple structure, and is convenient to carry and operate, and has a high construction efficiency.
CONTAINER WITH INTERCHANGEABLE LINER
The present disclosure provides for a container having an interchangeable liner. The container is comprised of a bottom portion having an aperture to receive the interchangeable liner as well as securing protrusions and stabilizing members. The securing protrusions serve to cooperate with the aperture to lock the liner within the container, whereas the stabilizing members serve to stabilize the container when a substance within the container is being mixed.
DRYWALL MUD APPLICATOR HANDLE
A drywall mud applicator handle is provided. The drywall mud applicator handle has a generally cylindrical exterior tube having a generally hollow interior having components. The generally hollow interior of the handle contains a second hollow tube (therein having a reduced weight over existing solid rods) for activating the drywall mud applicator. The second hollow tube lacks any bends and may therein be reversed to dramatically increase the life span of the second hollow tube by altering the wear and tear on the tube evenly.
