HAND TOOL ASSEMBLED USING COUNTERSUNK SHANK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A hand tool. The hand tool includes the hand tool includes a shank, a handle attached to the shank, and a finishing element attached to the shank. The finishing element is attached to the shank by one or more fasteners. The fasteners extend substantially through a hole in the finishing element and an aligned hole in the shank to affix the finishing element to the shank. The fastener has a first expanded end situated in a countersink in an exposed surface of the shank.
CONCRETE TROWEL
A concrete trowel is disclosed and includes a frame, a drive assembly including a motor mounted on the frame and a drive hub configured to receive torque from the motor and a rotor rotatable about a rotational axis. The rotor includes a rotor hub coupled for co-rotation with the drive hub, a plurality of rotor arms radially extending from the rotor hub, and a plurality of blades selectively attached on respective rotor arms by a quick-connect mounting system.
Moisture curable adhesive composition and method for installing hardwood floors
An adhesive composition for adhesively bonding floor coverings to a variety of substrates. The composition includes 0.2 to 10 weight percent of a plurality of irregularly shaped spacer particles of size 0.5 mm to 10 mm; 10 to 50 weight percent of a moisture curable polymer system; and 40 to 90 weight percent of additives for modifying physical properties of the composition. The adhesive has a composition such that, when cured, results in an elastomeric film of uniform thickness that exhibits controlled moisture vapor transmission and sound abatement properties. A floor structure and a method for constructing the floor structure using the adhesive composition are also provided.
MOUNTING ADAPTER FOR CONCRETE SURFACE PROCESSING TOOLS
A mounting adapter for rotatably mounting a tool holding body having first and second surfaces on at least one spider arm of a motor driven rotatable spider assembly of a surface processing apparatus, said mounting adapter comprising: bearing means supported by said second surface; a first aperture extending centrally through said first and second surfaces; a rubber flex pad having a second aperture in vertical registry with and beneath said first aperture; means supporting said rubber flex pad along its periphery and having a third aperture in vertical registry with and beneath said second aperture; an end plug within said third aperture for closing the second aperture, said end plug supporting said flex pad from beneath said third aperture; said rotatable hub of said bearing means including attachment means in the upper portion thereof for facilitating non rotatable attachment to a mounting means adapted for attachment to said spider arm.
Method of covering a surface of a building and robot therefor
A method of covering a surface of a building, the method comprising spraying an expandable foam material onto the surface and allowing the foam material to solidify whereby to form a covering of the surface and a robotic vehicle configured to carry out the method.
TEXTURIZING A WALL OR CEILING WITH NON-ACOUSTICAL JOINT COMPOUND
A method of texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound by providing a collapsible bag having an opening at its top and is adapted to contain non-acoustical joint compound for forming a textured coating on the wall or ceiling and providing a spray nozzle having a low pressure input port, a joint compound suction port attached to the opening at the top of the collapsible bag, and an output port for spraying the non-acoustical joint compound. A low pressure stream of air from an air gun attached to the low pressure input port urges a small quantity of the non-acoustical joint compound to be sprayed out of the spray nozzle when the bottom of the collapsible disposable bag is raised above its top to either allow or force the joint compound to flow into the suction port and into the interior of the spray nozzle.

Joint compound spreading tool for drywall finishing
A hand tool is provided for the application of joint compound to drywall board joints, a planar blade affixed to a handle. The blade has a concave arcuate working edge, wherein the concave arcuate curve extends the entire length of the working edge to each corner of the working edge. The concave arcuate working edge may be used to apply a self-featured layer joint compound over drywall tape on planar butt joint or an inside corner joint. The blade is laterally flexible.
COMBINATION TROWEL DEVICE
A combination trowel may include a handle, a flat-edge blade coupled to the handle, and a notched-edge blade coupled to the handle and located along a first surface of the flat-edge blade. In some embodiments, the notched-edge blade is slideably coupled to the handle such that the notched-edge blade can extend and retract with respect to the handle. A thumb slide coupled to the handle may be configured to facilitate the extension and retraction. The handle may comprise a first portion and a second portion, and the second portion may be configured to extend and retract with respect to the first portion. A first rivet and a second rivet may be used to couple the handle to the flat-edge blade and the notched-edge blade.
TROWEL/FLOAT WITH LEVEL AND REPLACEABLE SURFACES
This disclosure relates to a trowel and/or float having a utilitarian and adjustable level built-in for ease of use and creating uniform, properly angled, smooth surfaces, and replaceable undersides for creating various effects all in one simple to use tool.
