APPLICATION HEAD FOR A TAPE APPLICATOR, TAPE APPLICATOR PROVIDED WITH SUCH A HEAD
An application head for an applicator for applying jointing tape between two plaster boards includes a fixing core and two sides receiving two rotation shafts parallel to each other, two notched rollers being carried by the first rotation shaft, and two link rods being mounted so as to be able to pivot on the second rotation shaft, one end of each link rod being mounted so as to be able to rotate freely on a third rotation shaft, to either side of a corner roller. The application head also includes a spring comprising two legs bearing against the fixing core, extended by an elbow linked to a blocking arm provided with a notch for immobilizing the link rods in the use position, the blocking arms being linked together by a return hoop and reversible blocking mechanism for immobilizing the link rods in the retracted position, separate from the spring.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH AUTOMATIC TAPE ARRANGEMENT DURING FILLING, AND METHOD FOR FILLING SUCH AN APPLICATOR
The invention relates to a strip applicator (1) for ensuring the joint between two plaster boards. The applicator comprises a coating container (4) wherein a strip unwinds in use, the container having a rear wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a top wall and two side walls, one of which forms a removable side cover for accessing the inside of the container. According to the invention, the lower wall comprises an opening (14) provided with a removable plug (15) for accessing the inside of the container, the opening being directed towards the upper wall of the container.
TAPE MACHINE
A tape machine includes a base, one or more wheels connected to the base, one or more uprights extending upwards from the base, a roller connected to the base, and a tape roll housing connected to the uprights and configured to receive a roll of tape therein to allow for rotational unwinding of the roll of tape. A cutter connected to the base and moveable between an idle position and a cut position. A blade on the cutter is moveable to cut the tape when in cut position.
TAPE DISPENSER
A tape dispenser providing a dispensing assembly adapted to accommodate various widths of tape, wherein the dispensing assembly is operatively associated with a handle assembly to enable self-alignment of the dispensing tape and the dispensing assembly, and wherein a cutting assembly is operatively associated with the dispensing assembly for selectively cutting the dispensing tape.
Fiberboard surface protection system
A paperboard or fiberboard sheet is provided with at least one preapplied adhesive strip used to connect together and an adjacently positioned surface protector to form a dust-proof and/or liquid-proof seal between the two surface protectors.
Surface Concealment System
A multi-layered surface indentation concealment system including a plurality of superimposed layers. The plurality of superimposed layers can be disposed on a surface to span and conceal a surface indentation in the surface.
METHOD OF USING AN ADHESIVE ARTICLE FOR GYPSUM BOARD CONSTRUCTION JOINT SYSTEMS
Described herein is a method of using an adhesive article on a gypsum board construction assembly. The gypsum board construction assembly has a first gypsum board unit and a second gypsum board unit defining a space therebetween, the method comprises obtaining the adhesive article, wherein the adhesive article comprises a first major surface and an opposing second major surface, wherein an adhesive is disposed on the first major surface and the opposing second major surface has a surface free energy of at least 29 mN/m, and wherein the adhesive article has an adhesion to gypsum board of at least 45 oz/in (0.49 N/mm); and fixedly attaching the adhesive article via the adhesive to a first and second attachment areas, wherein the first gypsum board unit comprises an outer paper surface and the second gypsum board unit comprises an outer paper surface and the first attachment area is on the outer paper surface of the first gypsum board unit and the second attachment area is on the outer paper surface of the second gypsum board unit, and wherein the portion of the adhesive article disposed over the space is non-porous.
Inside corner drywall finishing
An inside corner drywall finishing comprising a first segment composed of a first side and a second side, a second segment composed of a first side and a second side, a third segment composed of a first side and a second side, a flap composed of a first side and a second side, the first side of the first segment attached to the first side of the flap wherein the first segment is affixed to the flap, the second side of the first segment attached to the first side of the second segment wherein the first segment is affixed to the second segment and the second side of the second segment attached to the first side of the third segment wherein the second segment is affixed to the third segment.
Compression roller device
A compression roller device includes markers on roller heads for pressure-rolling over a substrate to form visual indicia that the substrate has been properly pressure-rolled. In example embodiments, there are two roller heads that each have a set of markers and that are spaced-apart with a handle center-mounted between them. In this way, the roller heads have free/unobstructed outer/opposite edges so they can be positioned closely against an obstructing surface or element for rolling substrates in tight spots with limited clearance. Also, the recess defined between the inner/facing edges of the roller heads provides clearance for rolling over any protruding fasteners securing the substrate in place. Further, the spaced-apart marker sets provide for marking the visual indicia on both sides of a seam/joint between two adjacent panels in a panel-and-tape system to show that both longitudinal side portions of the tape have been pressure-rolled.
