A composition, utility material, and method of making a utility material is disclosed. A composition having an improved setting time may include a plurality of microparticles mixed with a sodium silicate binder and an isocyanate setting agent, where the microparticle composition has a setting time of less than or equal to one hour. A utility material may be a wallboard that includes the composition.
Longspan Stay-in-Place Liners
A structure-lining apparatus comprising a plurality of transversely and longitudinally extending panels connectable to a structure and connectable edge-to-edge via complementary connector components on their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises transversely extending edges generally orthogonal to their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises first and second complementary connector components on first and second longitudinally extending edges thereof. The apparatus comprises at least one edge-to-edge connection between a first connector component of a first panel and a second connector component of a second panel wherein a primary male connector component of the second connector component of the second panel is extended into a primary female connector component of the first connector component of the first panel and a secondary male connector component of the first connector component of the first panel is extended into a secondary female connector component of the second connector component of the second panel.
DEVICE FOR LOCKING TWO FLOOR PANELS
The disclosure relates to a device for locking two interconnected floor panels that are identically embodied and includes a core, an upper side and a lower side, and a first lateral edge (I) and a second lateral edge (II) opposite the first lateral edge. On the upper side, the first lateral edge (I) of the first floor panel abuts against the second lateral edge (II) of the second floor panel. A horizontal groove extending into the core is embodied in the second lateral edge (II), with an upper wall, an inner wall and a lower wall, the lower wall being formed from a lower lip projecting on the first lateral edge (I), which, on the outer end thereof, has a projection that is oriented towards the upper side and has a first locking edge, and at least one locking element is inserted in the region of the connection point of the two floor panels. An outwardly projecting spring is provided on the second lateral edge (II), and includes a step forming a spring tip on the outer end thereof, and on the end thereof facing the core, a second locking edge extending in the vertical direction (V), the locking edge being the outer wall of a vertical groove open towards the lower side, in which the projection engages. The locking takes place, in the vertical direction, by means of the spring tip engaging in the horizontal groove, and in the horizontal direction, by means of the locking element supported on the first locking edge of the projection and on the second locking edge of the spring. The disclosure is characterised in that the locking element is compressible in the vertical direction (V) and not compressible in the horizontal direction.
Impervious wall panel
A water impervious wall panel system includes an intermediate first wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the intermediate first wall panel is provided with tongue-and-groove edges. The water impervious wall panel system also includes an end second wall panel composed of a waterproof core and a decorative surfacing attached to the core, wherein the end second wall panel is provided with a tongue-and-groove edge and a rolled edge. One of the tongue-and-groove edges of the intermediate first wall panel and the tongue-and-groove edge of the end second wall panel form an interlocking system having a contact area adjacent to a front face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel and a gap adjacent a rear face of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel, the contact area surface extending across less than the thickness of the intermediate first wall panel and the end second wall panel so as to provide a tight joint at the front face and eliminate visible gaps.
SIDING PANEL AND ASSEMBLY
A composite siding panel mountable on an exterior wall of a building includes a backing member and a siding member attached to the backing member, wherein the first side edge of the siding member overhangs the first side edge of the backing member, and the second side edge of the siding member is aligned with or positioned contiguously with the second side edge of the backing member. An adhesive coating joins the front face of the backing member to the rear face of the siding member. The adhesive coating runs substantially from the first side edge of the backing member to the second side edge thereof. The backing member can be composed of closed-cell expanded foam or wire-fabricated foam, and the siding member can be formed from vinyl, polypropylene, aluminum, steel, fiberglass, engineered wood, or fiber cement. A siding assembly including a plurality of composite siding panels adjacently mountable on an exterior wall of a building is also disclosed.
