Method for hyperthermially treating a cancer
A nanomedicinal composition comprising a nanocarrier and a pharmaceutical agent mixture comprising an anti-cancer therapeutic and an antioxidant. The nanocarrier comprises a porous silicate matrix and particles of a magnetic ferrite disposed in the pores of the porous silicate matrix. The pharmaceutical agent mixture is disposed in the pores and/or on the surface of the nanocarrier by a solution phase impregnation process. The nanomedicinal composition is used in a method of treating breast cancer.
POROUS CARBON MATERIAL COMPOSITES AND THEIR PRODUCTION PROCESS, ADSORBENTS, COSMETICS, PURIFICATION AGENTS, AND COMPOSITE PHOTOCATALYST MATERIALS
A porous carbon material composite formed of a porous carbon material and a functional material and equipped with high functionality. The porous carbon material composite is formed of (A) a porous carbon material obtainable from a plant-derived material having a silicon (Si) content of 5 wt % or higher as a raw material; and (B) a functional material adhered on the porous carbon material, and has a specific surface area of 10 m2/g or greater as determined by the nitrogen BET method and a pore volume of 0.1 cm3/g or greater as determined by the BJH method and MP method.
Magnetic Nanoparticles
A magnetic nanoparticle includes a magnetic core and a superparamagnetic outer shell, in which the outer shell enhances magnetic properties of the nanoparticle. The enhanced magnetic properties of the magnetic nanoparticle allow for highly sensitive detection as well as diminished non-specific aggregation of nanoparticles.
Magnetic powder for cosmetic agent
A magnetic powder to be included in a cosmetic agent being removable by a magnetic attraction force from the cosmetic agent applied to the skin. The magnetic powder comprises a ferromagnetic ferrite, a mean volume particle diameter of 50 to 75 m when determined from a particle size distribution obtained by a laser diffraction scattering method, a content of particles with a particle diameter of less than 37 m of 15% by mass or less, and a content of particles with a particle diameter of 105 m or more of 5% by mass or less. The magnetic powder preferably has a saturation magnetization of 80 Am.sup.2/kg or more.
Cosmetic composition based on a magnetic or magnetisable material, the preparation thereof and use thereof for cleansing the epidermis
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition based on a magnetic or magnetizable material, the preparation thereof and use thereof for surface and deep cleansing of the epidermis. Said cosmetic composition has revealed to be particularly useful for preparing a mask for cleansing the epidermis of the face, breast, hands and body and, simultaneously, for maintaining the aesthetic appearance and functional efficiency thereof.
SYSTEM FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF AN ORAL CARE COMPOSITION
This is a preliminary amendment. The claims are amended for non-statutory reasons: to remove multiple dependencies, to correct one or more informalities, to remove figure label number(s), and/or to replace European-style claim phraseology with American-style claim language. The scope of the claims have not been changed and no new matter is added.
The amendment to the claims does not address issues of patentability. Applicant(s) reserve(s) the right to continue prosecution of any subject matter canceled, or not claimed because of eliminating multiple dependencies, in this, a divisional, or other continuing application.
Examination of the application is now respectfully requested. If any points remain in issue that may best be resolved through a personal or telephonic interview, the Examiner is respectfully requested to contact the undersigned at the telephone number listed below.
MAGNETIC FLOSS
An apparatus and methods or delivering and controlling magnetic abrasive particles to clean between teeth and at and just below the gum line by removing debris. The apparatus can include a horseshoe-shaped optically clear mouth tray (for upper and lower teeth) appropriately sized to fit the teeth (ridge) and over the gum line of a patient. Magnetic nano or microparticles can be manipulated within a ferrofluid mixture by a magnetic field. The ferrofluid, teeth and gumline can be illuminated by a light source from or through the mouth tray.
METHOD FOR CANCER TREATMENT WITH A HYPERTHERMAL AGENT
A nanomedicinal composition comprising a nanocarrier and a pharmaceutical agent mixture comprising an anti-cancer therapeutic and an antioxidant. The nanocarrier comprises a porous silicate matrix and particles of a magnetic ferrite disposed in the pores of the porous silicate matrix. The pharmaceutical agent mixture is disposed in the pores and/or on the surface of the nanocarrier by a solution phase impregnation process. The nanomedicinal composition is used in a method of treating breast cancer.
Method of applying makeup to a surface and a kit for implementing such a method
A method of applying makeup to a surface, such as the skin, the nails, hair, or the lips, is disclosed. The method includes manually depositing, using a non-magnetic cosmetic applicator, at least a first cosmetic composition in the fluid state on the surface, the first composition containing magnetic particles that are movable under the effect of a magnetic field; and manually exposing at least part of the first composition to a magnetic device producing a magnetic field, the magnetic device located above the first composition so as to orientate and/or displace at least a fraction of the magnetic particles so as to form at least one pattern according to magnetic field lines of the magnetic field without making contact with the first composition.
