Floor board with universal connection system
11236513 · 2022-02-01 · ·

A construction and methods of assembly and construction of boards, e.g. floor boards, are described. The boards have a peripheral connection arrangement for interconnecting of one board to another, a core layer e.g. made from a wood or fiber based material and a top layer applied to the core layer which may be decorative and may include or provide a wear layer. A further bottom layer may be applied to the underside of the core layer and is designed to be in contact with the floor or an underlay can be applied when in use. The connection arrangement includes interconnecting hooking tongues and corresponding catches which co-operate to produce both vertical and horizontal locking.

Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system that may be locked with a vertical displacement of a first panel against a second panel. The locking system includes a flexible strip that during locking bends upwardly or downwardly. The locking system includes a first and a second joint edge section with different locking functions. One section provides a horizontal locking and another section provides a vertical locking.

SYSTEM FOR SECURING SLATS FOR FORMING A RAISED FLOOR OR DECK
20170254077 · 2017-09-07 ·

The system for removably securing slats juxtaposed to form a deck, for example for a terrace, includes fasteners disposed in rows on level floor or joist or beam structure supports oriented perpendicular to the axis of the slats. The fasteners have a device for securing the supports to the slats. A plurality of impermeable channels is disposed parallel for a level floor, or at a rate of one impermeable channel for each joist or beam support. The top surface of the support, a device for removable securing and a device for positioning provided on the profiled section are covered. The fasteners are made of a flexible elastic material, and the device for positioning allows clearance in a direction of an axis of the channel.

Flooring system provided with a connecting system and an associated connecting device

A flooring system including floor panels and a connecting system for connecting the floor panels is provided. The flooring system includes a first and a second floor panel, and a connecting device that includes a first and a second connecting element. The first connecting element is configured to cooperate with the first and second floor panel for horizontally connecting the first and second floor panel. The second connecting element is configured to cooperate with the first connecting element for vertically connecting the first and the second floor panel. A connecting device for connecting a first and a second floor panel is also provided.

Set of tiles adapted to cover a surface such as a floor

A set (1) of tiles (5) adapted to cover a surface (10) perpendicular to a thickness direction (V) of the tiles (5), each of the tiles comprising at least one upper layer (24), and an underlying rigid core layer (22), the core layer and the upper layer being superimposed in the thickness direction, and the core layer defining a lower surface (S) opposite the upper layer. The tiles comprise at least one first tile (15) having a first edge extending in a longitudinal direction (L), the core layer of the first tile (15) defining a connecting groove (28) in the first edge. The tiles comprise at least one second tile (20) having a second edge extending in the longitudinal direction, the core layer of the second tile defining a connecting tongue (34) protruding from the second edge, the connecting tongue being adapted to be snap-fit into the connecting groove in a connecting direction (C) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L) and to the thickness direction in a locked configuration of the first tile and the second tile. The lower surface defines an additional groove (30) parallel to the first edge.

Flooring system with enhanced flexibility
11199010 · 2021-12-14 · ·

A flooring system is provided comprising a plurality of (identical) floor panels, which are mechanically connectable to each other along at least one pair of adjacent first and second opposite joint edges. The panels comprise locking elements for connecting said panels in both horizontal and vertical direction. In order to consider the often occurring situation that in panels—especially when stored under changing external conditions, especially changing humidity—might warp, the (vertical) locking element in the panels is constructed with a (slight) play, so that in the event that two panels have slightly different warp nevertheless can easily and reliably be mechanically connected with each other omitting the need to exert an excess of force to fit the panels.

PANEL FOR PRODUCING A FREE-LYING FLOOR COVERING
