BUILDING PANEL
Building panels, such as a floor panels or wall panels. The panels including a first mechanical locking system at respective parallel and opposite third and fourth edges, such as long edges, configured to cooperate for horizontal and vertical locking between two adjacent building panels, preferably by means of a folding motion. The panels further including a second locking system at respective parallel and opposite first and second edges, such as short edges, configured to cooperate for horizontal and vertical locking of two adjacent building panels. An upper edge portion of one of the third edge or fourth edge, preferably the third edge, includes a first lower lip portion configured to cooperate with a first upper lip portion of an upper edge portion of the other of the third and fourth edge of an adjacent panel when the third and fourth edges are arranged in locking engagement.
Unlocking system for panels
A set of essentially identical panels, such as building panels, provided with a mechanical locking system including a displaceable tongue arranged in a displacement groove having a first opening at a first edge of a first panel. The tongue is configured to be displaced in the displacement groove along a displacement axis to attain a locking state wherein a first portion of the tongue cooperates with a first tongue groove having a second opening at a second edge of an adjacent second panel, for vertical locking of the first and the second edge. A second portion of the tongue is configured to cooperate with the second edge of the adjacent second panel via an elongated element for vertical unlocking of the first and the second edge.
FLOOR PANEL
Floor panel, with a horizontally and vertically active locking system allowing that two of such floor panels can be connected to each other at said sides by providing one of these floor panels, by means of a downward movement, in the other floor panel; wherein the vertically active locking system comprises a locking element in the form of an insert; wherein this locking element comprises at least a pivotable lock-up body; characterized in that the pivotable lock-up body comprises a support portion which is rotatable against a support surface pertaining to the floor panel concerned, and more particularly in a seat.
Interconnectable Tiling System
A tile system for covering a surface. The tile system comprises a first tile assembly connected to a second tile assembly by a connector. Each tile assembly comprises a first tile stacked on a second tile, the first tile and the second tile joined to a reinforcing material disposed therebetween. The connector comprises a first component and a second component that is complementary to the first component. The first component is mounted to the first tile assembly, and the second component is mounted to the second tile assembly.
MINERAL-BASED PANEL COMPRISING GROOVES AND A METHOD FOR FORMING GROOVES
There is disclosed a mineral-based floor panel including a mineral-based core, wherein the panel includes at least one groove. The at least one groove may be provided in a rear side of the panel. There is also disclosed other such mineral-based panels, such as a building panel, a wall panel, a ceiling panel or a furniture panel. There is also disclosed a method for forming such grooves in a mineral-based panel. Furthermore, there is disclosed a mineral-based panel including a mineral-based core and polymer-based lower layer(s) attached to the core. A locking system of the panel includes a strip extending horizontally beyond an upper portion of the panel, wherein at least a horizontal portion of the strip is entirely formed in the polymer-based lower layer(s).
FLOORING SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED FLEXIBILITY
A flooring system is provided comprising a plurality of (identical) floor panels, which are mechanically connectable to each other along at least one pair of adjacent first and second opposite joint edges. The panels comprise locking elements for connecting said panels in both horizontal and vertical direction. In order to consider the often occurring situation that in panelsespecially when stored under changing external conditions, especially changing humiditymight warp, the (vertical) locking element in the panels is constructed with a (slight) play, so that in the event that two panels have slightly different warp nevertheless can easily and reliably be mechanically connected with each other omitting the need to exert an excess of force to fit the panels.
PANELS WITH A DETACHABLE PROTRUDING LIP FOR WALL- CEILING- OR FLOOR COVERINGS
A panel for wall-, ceiling- or floor coverings is provided, the panel comprising an upper side, a lower side, and front ends, defining a circumference of the panel in the installed state, and at least one front end is protruded with respect to the circumference by a detachable protruding lip formed at the lower side, one horizontal locking groove at the lower side, characterized in that the protruding lip has a predetermined break-off surface. Furthermore, methods are provided for manufacturing wall-, ceiling- and/or floor coverings comprising or consisting of a plurality of the panels.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A LAMINATE, AN AMINOPLAST RESIN CATALYST USED THEREIN, AND A LAMINATE OBTAINED THEREBY
A method for manufacturing a laminate includes a carrier material and a cured thermosetting resin. The resin is cured using a catalyst showing one or a combination of two or more of the following properties: the catalyst has a pressure activatable catalyst; the catalyst has an encapsulated catalyst; the catalyst has an organic carboxylic acid. A method is provided for impregnating a paper layer, and an aminoplast resin catalyst is used in the method.
