PANEL MATS CONNECTABLE WITH INTERLOCKING AND PINNING ELEMENTS
A lightweight universal panel mat made of plastic or elastomeric material and having a first section that provides a relatively flat, textured or structured top surface to facilitate movement over the upper surface and a second section having geometry that includes a plurality of cells having top surfaces that support the first section. The mats also include first, second, third and fourth sides forming a perimeter of the mat, wherein the first and second sides include upper structures having a sloped lower surface and the third and fourth sides include lower structures having sloped upper surfaces. The sloped surfaces are configured to allow for overlapping with sloped surfaces other like mats for interlocking therewith while forming a generally flat continuous top and bottom surface of the overlapped mats. The mats may be interlocked by a fastening member which fits in aligned openings of the adjacent mats for connection therewith.
Flooring component
A flooring component comprising a main body portion defining a first major surface and a second major surface, a first extending portion that extends from the main body portion in a first direction, the first extending portion defining a third surface coplanar to at least a portion of the first major surface, and a second extending portion that extends from the main body portion in a second direction opposite the first direction, the second extending portion defining a fourth surface coplanar to at least a portion of the second major surface, wherein at least 60% of the main body portion, the first extending portion and the second extending portion is of a first material, the first extending portion comprises a female structure on a side of the first extending portion opposite the third surface, the second extending portion comprises a male structure on a side of the second extending portion opposite the fourth surface, the flooring component comprises, in a region of at least one of the female structure and the male structure, a resilient portion of a second material more pliable than the first material, and the female structure is of a shape that snappingly engages the male structure using a resilience of the resilient portion.
SHOCK ABSORBING INTERLOCKING FLOOR SYSTEM
Interlocking panels have a top portion and side edges. Multiple panels are interlocked together mechanically along the side edges by locking features. The top portion includes a substantially planar top surface, side edges, and interlocking features. The bottom support structure is made of a shock absorption material that fits under the substantially planar top surface, thereby providing support and cushioning to the substantially planar top surface. The interlocking feature includes, for example, sides alternating between sides that have protrusions (upward or downward) and sides that have receivers for the protrusions.

Versatile Modular Flooring Device and System
A modular flooring system is disclosed to accommodate non-planar configurations of modular floor mats. Modular mats each have a main central portion and overhanging and underhanging flanges extending therefrom. The outer surfaces of the mats have treads formed thereon, which may be of different grades, such as industrial or pedestrian grade. Each flange contains a plurality of bores, each comprising a recess at opposing mat surfaces connected by a central portion. The recess depth at one mat surface differs from the recess depth at the opposing surface, creating an offset spacing to account for surface tread regardless of mat overlay and configuration. A fastener, having a head and opposite foot, is inserted through aligned bores in adjacent mats and rotated to lock or unlock mats in each configuration. The modular flooring system provides increased utility through enabling planar, stacked, and stepped configurations of the system.
Flooring component
A flooring component (700) comprising a main body portion (717) defining a first major surface (701) and a second major surface (702), a first extending portion (720) that extends from the main body portion in a first direction, the first extending portion defining a third surface coplanar to at least a portion of the first major surface, and a second extending portion (730) that extends from the main body portion in a second direction opposite the first direction, the second extending portion defining a fourth surface coplanar to at least a portion of the second major surface, wherein at least 60% of the main body portion, the first extending portion and the second extending portion is of a first material, the first extending portion comprises a female structure (722) on a side of the first extending portion opposite the third surface, the second extending portion comprises a male structure (733) on a side of the second extending portion opposite the fourth surface, the flooring component comprises, in a region of at least one of the female structure and the male structure, a resilient portion of a second material more pliable than the first material, and the female structure is of a shape that snappingly engages the male structure using a resilience of the resilient portion.
FLOOR COVERING
A floor covering has a decorative surface lying in a plane of the floor covering and includes rectangular floor panels, with each floor panel having: a core and a decorative layer on the core. At least a first pair of opposite edges is provided with mechanical coupling means so a plurality of similar panels can be coupled to one another. The coupling means provides for an interlocking in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the floor covering, and a direction perpendicular to the coupled edges and parallel to the plane of the floor covering. The floor covering includes a plurality of alignment elements with each edge of the floor panel and at least partially defining a hollow receiving cavity below the decorative layer and having a shape such that, when a first edge of a second floor panel is coupled to a second edge of a first floor panel.

The bottom support structure is made of a shock absorption material that fits under the substantially planar top surface, thereby providing support and cushioning to the substantially planar top surface. The locking features include, for example, alternating upward/downward facing steps or key/key receivers to hold adjacent interlocking panels to each other.
Modular Flooring Device and System
A modular mat comprises mirror image layers. At least one fitting receiver is integrally formed in a central portion of each layer, and at least one aperture is formed in a flange portion of each layer. The layers are congruently mated and affixed such that the fitting receiver of one layer is disposed through a corresponding aperture of the flange of the opposite layer. The outer surfaces of the layers comprise traction elements, which may be of different grades, such as industrial grade on one layer and pedestrian grade on the opposing layer. A floor covering system is also disclosed comprising a plurality of modular mats disposed in partially overlapping and interlocking relation with adjacent mats.
Multi-configurable modular decking system with locking components
A portable, modular, interlocking decking system or apparatus that can be assembled and disassembled for resizing, transport, relocation and expansion. The decking comprises a plurality of panels shaped and dimensioned to interlock with other panels via fastener, the fastener comprising an axially rotatable locking mechanism which have detents in some embodiments.
