Metal material to which flammable thin-film construction interior material is adhered, and attachment structure for attaching same
The present invention has the following features. The present invention relates to a flammable flame-proof material provided with a metal material, comprising a metal material and a non-flame-proof-treated thin film sheet on the top of the metal material, wherein an adhesive agent is between the metal material and the non-flame-proof-treated thin film sheet, and relates to an attachment structure for attaching a metal plate with a flammable thin-film construction interior material.
Cladding or siding assembly and installation method
A cladding or siding assembly includes at least one panel member and at least two parallel and spaced support rail members to allow at least one panel member to slidably interfit in between the support rail members, to be located and be removable during or after construction. The panel member is slotted between an upper support rail member and a parallel lower support rail member. At an upper end of the panel member recess slidably interfits with the lower tab member of the upper support rail member having second end leg of perimeter frame within lower recess and the recess at a lower end of the same panel member slidably captures shorter upper tab member of the lower support rail member whereby second end leg is captured in upper recess of lower support rail member.
Fire Rated Building Construction Framing Members
Fire rated building construction framing members and related wall assemblies are disclosed that comprise a sheet metal framing member (all profiles) in combination with a new type of multi-layer fire safety/sound reduction tape. The multi-layer fire safety/sound reduction tape comprises a flexible thermal barrier layer attached to a flexible intumescent material layer. In combination, the thermal barrier layer comprises a thermoplastic material that is on a surface of the sheet metal framing member, whereas the thermal barrier layer is attached to the intumescent layer such that the thermal barrier layer is between the sheet metal framing member and the intumescent layer. The multi-layer fire safety/sound reduction tape slows and impedes the spread of fire and smoke (during a fire) and also reduces sound transmission between adjacent rooms in a building.
FIRE RESISTANT MEMBRANE FOR FLOORING SYSTEM
A flooring system has a pedestal having a support surface, a membrane comprising a fibre mat and an elastomeric material coating, and/or impregnated into, the fibre mat. The membrane is applied to the support surface to act as a layer between the pedestal and a supported member forming part of a floor structure.
Thermal and/or fire resistant panel, a mounting assembly, and a kit
Disclosed herein is a thermal and/or fire resistant panel comprising: a panel body comprising a fire resistant composition, wherein the fire resistant composition comprises: a silane cross-linked hybrid inorganic polymer; and a siloxane.
Wall Panel for Forming a Wall Covering With Multiple Panels
Provided is a wall panel for forming a wall covering with multiple panels, including a centrally located core. The core includes a rear side, a decorative side opposite the rear side, and at least two sides including coupling parts for mutual coupling of several panels. The coupling parts are arranged to be coupled with an angling motion. A new panel is arranged to be angled into a panel already forming part of the wall covering. The coupling parts include at least one first coupling part and at least one second coupling part arranged on opposite sides of the core. The first coupling part includes a sideward tongue, an upper bridge portion for connecting the sideward tongue to the core and a downward groove for accommodating at least a parts of an upward locking element. The second coupling part includes a groove.
Fire-resistant manufactured-wood based siding
A manufactured wood based siding or cladding product made from an engineered wood composite including, but not limited to, oriented strand board (OSB), hardboard, plywood, and combinations thereof, with fire-resistant properties (e.g., resistance to flame spread, ignition and combustion) imparted during the manufacturing process. An engineered wood-based composite siding product (in various forms, including lap, panel or trim) possessing such material properties is better suited for meeting the requirements of certain communities or areas where building codes require such protection due to the risk of fires (such as those posed within the boundaries of the wildland-urban interface, WUI). Engineered or manufactured wood-based composite products are typically manufactured by assembling multiple layers, then consolidating these layers using heat and pressure. A fines layer comprising wood or lignocellulosic wood particles is currently applied to the face of engineered wood-based composite siding products (e.g., lap siding, panel siding, trim) to provide an appropriate outer appearance, or other features, to the product. In various exemplary embodiments, the present invention treats the particles that make up the fines layer before incorporation of the particles into the manufacturing process (i.e., in-process). The treatment comprises adding ingredients or additives (using appropriate methods) that impart desired protection when exposed to a fire event. Ingredients, for example, include various borate-based chemistries, minerals, or combinations thereof that impart the desired protection.

Foam wall insulation system
A wall insulation system includes a thermoplastic polymer foam board, ribs of melt barrier material extending horizontally across the width of the thermoplastic polymer foam board and a metallic facing bonded to the outside surface of the thermoplastic polymer foam board and covering the outside primary surface of the thermoplastic polymer foam board and any ribs exposed along the outside primary surface of the thermoplastic polymer foam board. A rib of melt barrier material extends across the width of the thermoplastic polymer foam board in any 50 centimeter distance along the height of the foam board.
Non-combustible, breathable membrane
A coated textile contains a web based on glass fibres having a back face, a front face and at least one edge. The front face is covered with a coating layer based on silicone and back face is capable of being bonded to a support. The coating layer has a thickness between 5 m and 250 m and includes at least one inorganic flame retardant compound in a quantity which is sufficient for the coated textile to have a gross calorific value of less than or equal to 3 MJ/kg, the inorganic flame retardant compound having a D50 granule size of less than 50 m.
