Modular platform
We provide a platform (10) comprising a deck element (14) having a load-bearing member (18) secured to at least one support beam (16) of the deck element (14), and a plurality of first connection arrangements, and a plurality of deck support members (30) each having a second connection arrangement, wherein the deck element (14) is moveable with respect to the plurality of deck support members (30) to connect the deck element (14) to the plurality of deck support members (30), and wherein each of the first connection arrangements is configured to engage a respective one of the second connection arrangements, the first connection arrangement being one of an engaging member (20) or a receiving formation (35), and the respective second connection arrangement being the other of an engaging member (20) or a receiving formation (35), such that movement of the engaging member (20) in a first engaging direction causes the engaging member (20) to engage the receiving formation (35), to restrict movement of the deck element (14) relative to the respective deck support member (30) in at least one plane.
Work platform and method
A work scaffold having a platform and leg assemblies rotatably attached to each end of the platform. The platform may have a handle connected to free end that extends out the sides of the platform, which engage with links attached to the leg assemblies and the platform to lock the scaffold in an open or closed position. The platform may have hooks that extend out beyond the ends of the platform from under the platform so a second work scaffold can be situated on the hooks. The platform may be formed of boards with holes that receive cross members. A method for using a work scaffold. A method for forming a work scaffold.
DEVICE FOR LOCKING DOWN SCAFFOLD BOARDS
A device for locking down a board of a platform supported on transoms connected between standards of a scaffold, including a riser adapted to be positioned lengthwise of one of the standards, a keeper positioned transversely of the riser to hold the board in place and a coupling to engage a fitting on the standard to lock the device in position.
SUPPORT MEMBER FOR JOINABLE SCAFFOLDING PLANKS
A support member is provided for joining scaffolding plank segments comprising a first support surface for supporting a first scaffolding plank segment and a second support surface parallel to the first support surface for supporting a second scaffolding plank segment. A joining member joins the first and second plank segments, a first retainer is provided for retaining the first scaffolding plank segment on the first support surface and a second retainer for retaining the second scaffolding plank segment on the second support surface. A system is further provided comprising at least two scaffolding plank segments and a bracket, such as that described above, for supporting an end of each of the segments.
BEAM FOR SCAFFOLD PLATFORMS, SCAFFOLD PLATFORM PLANE, METHOD FOR FORMING A SCAFFOLD PLATFORM PLANE, AND USE OF A BEAM
A beam for scaffold platforms for forming a scaffold platform plane, comprising at least two profiles which are guided longitudinally displaceably in one another and have recesses which, in the overlapping region, form openings for the reception of scaffold platforms, wherein the shape and/or the size of the openings is variable by longitudinal displacement of the profiles relative to one another.
A scaffold platform plane, a method for building a scaffold platform plane and the use of a beam.
ANTI-LIFT SYSTEM, FLOOR PART, SCAFFOLD, AND USE
Anti-lift system for a floor part for a scaffold, comprising: an end piece provided with one or more hook elements with which the floor part can be hooked to a transverse ledger of the scaffold so as to be supported on that transverse ledger, wherein the hook elements define a ledger receiving space for the transverse ledger; and a stiff bolt couplable with the end piece, which in coupled condition is movable relative to the end piece along a bolt movement path between a releasing position and a locking position, wherein the bolt in the locking position extends along the ledger receiving space to block movement of a received transverse ledger out of the ledger receiving space, wherein the bolt in the releasing position extends less or not along the ledger receiving space to release movement of the received transverse ledger out of the ledger receiving space. The system is configured to have the bolt automatically move to the locking position when the bolt is between the locking position and the releasing position. A resistance element can stabilize the releasing position.
