Low-Skin Irritating Deodorant Composition And A Method For Preparing Thereof
The present invention relates to a low-skin irritating deodorant composition. The composition comprises an effective amount of an active ingredient comprising hexamine, derivatives thereof, or a combination thereof for reducing, inhibiting or suppressing development of malodour from a body part; a buffer system for substantially neutralising topical acidity of the body part; and an anti-irritating agent in an effective amount, wherein the anti-irritating agent comprises one or more botanically derived compounds selected from a group consisting of flavonoids, alkaloids, iridoids, terpenes, phenols, or a combination thereof.
LIPID CRYSTALLINE COMPOSITIONS WITH ENHANCED STABILITY FOR TOPICAL DELIVERY OF ACTIVE AGENT COMBINATIONS
Multiple active component therapeutic formulations are described comprising at least two active agents selected from the group consisting of an isovanillin component, a harmine component, and a curcumin component, stabilized in a self-supporting lipid crystalline formulation for topical application. The formulation maintains the active agents in a stable form during storage and will melt at body temperature when applied to the skin, wherein the lipid crystals melt into a liquid crystalline structure thereby releasing the active agents to the applied area of the skin or tissue to render their therapeutic effect.
Oral care compositions
Described herein are oral care compositions comprising a crosslinked polyvinylpyrrolidone complexed with hydrogen peroxide, together with particular co-polymers as additional excipients; including some embodiments which further comprise a calcium abrasive.
Stable microcapsule compositions
Disclosed are stable microcapsule compositions each containing a microcapsule dispersed in an aqueous phase and a stabilizing agent. The microcapsule compositions are stable for at least 4 weeks when storing at 45° C., and the microcapsule composition is considered stable when (i) the composition has a viscosity of 3000 cP or less and (ii) 20% or less water by volume of the composition is separated from the composition. Also disclosed are consumer products having such a stable microcapsule composition.
Nanoemulsions and a method for making the same
Nanoemulsions and a method for making the same are described. The nanoemulsions comprise a skin benefit agent in the water phase and they are made from two macroemulsions that have non-identical pH values.
COMPOSITION FOR COSMETICS
The present invention relates to a cosmetic for application to a user's skin. The cosmetic is provided with a colorant including iron oxides. The cosmetic also includes a high buffering-capacity agent configured to react with an external acidic source coming in contact with the cosmetic and to inhibit release of iron ions from the iron oxides.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING A RHEOLOGICAL-MODIFYING AND STABILIZING POLYMER BLEND
The instant disclosure relates to a rheological-modifying and stabilizing polymer blend, cosmetic compositions comprising the polymer blend, and methods for stabilizing, for modifying viscosity, and for treating the skin using the polymer blend or using cosmetic compositions comprising the polymer blend. The rheological-modifying and stabilizing polymer blend comprises: (i) a carbomer; (ii) acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer; and (iii) ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/steareth-25 methacrylate crosspolymer.
LOW VISCOSITY EMULSION COSMETIC COMPOSITION
The salt-stable cosmetic composition is in the form of a low viscosity emulsion (oil in water) and is especially stable at high electrolyte contents and includes a salt-stable polymeric system comprising a polymer blend such that the salt-stable cosmetic composition resists phase separation, pilling and gellifying at high salt content, conferring a flowable, lightweight lotion-type texture.
Photostabilizing compounds, compositions, and methods
Heterocyclic compounds are provided. In particular, the heteroatom of the heterocyclic compound may be nitrogen. The heterocyclic compounds may demonstrate capacity of stabilizing photoactive compounds. Topical compositions comprising these heterocyclic compounds are also provided. In particular, these topical compositions further comprise photoactive compounds. Methods for stabilizing photoactive compounds are also provided. These methods comprise mixing the photoactive compounds with photostabilizing heterocyclic compounds.
UNIT DOSE SACHET COMPRISING A PERFUME GEL COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a unit dose sachet comprising a perfume composition, wherein the perfume composition is a gel which comprises i) 0.2 to 2.0% by weight of a gelling agent selected from acrylates/C.sub.10-C.sub.30 alkyl acrylate cross polymers; ii) 60.0 to 75.0% by weight of a cosmetically acceptable alcohol; iii) 0.8 to 9.0% by weight of a fragrance composition having a liquid bulk specific gravity 20/20° C. of 0.97 to 1.08, a refractive index at 20° C. of 1.45 to 1.53 and a flash point of 100° C. to 1000° C.; iv) 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of a stabilizer; and v) 0.5 to 2.4% by weight of a solubilizer, vi) water up to 100% by weight, wherein the composition has a viscosity of 17,500 to 24,200 cps, and wherein the ratio of fragrance composition:gelling agent:alcohol is from 1:0.06:6 to 1:0.16:12.5.
