Oral care compositions and methods for the same are disclosed. The oral care composition may include an orally acceptable vehicle, one or more fructans, and one or more thickening agents. The one or more thickening agents may be configured to prevent the crystallization of the one or more fructans in the orally acceptable vehicle. The method may include contacting the orally acceptable vehicle, the fructans, and the thickening agents with one another to thereby prevent the crystallization of the fructans.

Cosmetic and dermatological compositions, including color changing compositions, are provided which typically include a plurality of synthetic particles having a size in the micrometer or nanometer range. Each synthetic particle typically includes one or more aggregates of a pigment selected from phenoxazone, phenoxazine, and a derivate or precursor thereof, and a stabilizing material which has a refractive index larger than 1.45; the aggregates having a size larger than about 100 nm and the composition being biodegradable and biocompatible.

The application relates to an emulsifying composition, in particular for cosmetic use, allowing an oil-in-water emulsion (O/W) to be obtained, the emulsion comprising at least one cyclodextrin and at least one O/W emulsifier of natural origin with a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value (HLB) of more than 8. The O/W emulsifier of natural origin can be selected from alkyl polyglucosides, mixtures of at least one alkyl polyglucoside and at least one fatty alcohol, and non-ethoxylated polyol fatty esters. The application also relates to a composition of the Pickering emulsion type, in particular for cosmetic use, containing the emulsifying composition according to the invention, and to the process for preparing such a composition of the O/W Pickering emulsion type, in particular at low temperatures.

Allergenic substances, allergens, are captured by topically applicable preparations comprising peptides that consist of 2-10 amino acids, at least one amino acid having one or more reactive side chains. The preparation comprises antioxidants and/or the pH of the preparation is less than 7. This barrier effect of the preparation allows for a novel anti-allergic form of therapy.

Described herein are oral care compositions comprising a crosslinked polyvinylpyrrolidone complexed with hydrogen peroxide, together with particular co-polymers as additional excipients; including some embodiments which further comprise a calcium abrasive.

Suggested are cosmetic compositions with improved stability, comprising at least one compound of formula (I) or salts thereof as additives.
