BUILDING ASSEMBLY SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHOD

A building assembly system for fabricating a multi-story building is described, wherein the building includes a vertical support core arranged on a base. Lift jacks are arranged between a top portion and a bottom portion of the vertical support core, and a reusable bridle is suspended from the plurality of lift jacks and slidably arranged on the vertical support core. A floor plate is assembled onto the bridle at an assembly level that is proximal to the base. The plurality of the lift jacks are operable to lift the bridle and the assembled floor plate to a design elevation on the vertical support core, and are operable to lower the bridle to the assembly level on the vertical support core after the floor plate has been secured to the vertical support core at the design elevation.

Work platform system configured for use structure with internal cavity, and related methods of assembly and use

Work platform systems and related methods of assembly and use are disclosed herein. In one exemplary embodiment, a method of installing a work platform system into an internal cavity of a structure includes supporting a first platform portion at a first location, and adding a plurality of additional platform portions to the first platform portion, where successive ones of the additional platform portions are respectively positioned at respective locations that are successively farther outward away from the first platform portion. The method further includes coupling the additional platform portions to one or more other locations, and detaching the additional platform portions from one another. The method additionally includes lowering or raising one or more of the first and additional platform portions to one or more additional levels below or above the first level, where the work platform system includes the first and additional platform portions.

A method of constructing a structure in which an item is to be installed at an elevated height on the structure. Hoists are hung from the structure. A platform is moved from ground level and positioned at a first elevated position between ground level and the hoists. The platform is attached to the hoists at the first elevated position. After the platform has been attached to the hoists, the item is moved onto the platform. The item is lifted on the platform to a second elevated position for installation at the elevated height on the structure and the item is installed at the elevated height.

A brace tool comprises a rigid frame, a platform mounted on the frame for adjustable positioning of the platform relative to the frame, and a plurality of suction cups. The plurality of suction cups can be removably attached to a flat surface that is adjacent to an inclined surface 12 above which work is to be performed. The platform can be adjustably positioned relative to the frame 22, and then secured in its adjusted position. The platform can then be used as a brace that can be engaged by the person on the inclined surface that is performing the overhead work and prevent the person from sliding down the inclined surface.

Wind turbine with a concrete tower and method for the assembly thereof

The present invention relates to a wind turbine with a concrete tower wherein the tower comprises a plurality of sections formed by segments a platform system comprising a plurality of platforms, wherein the platform system is configured to allow access to junction areas between sections wherefrom optionally, the execution of joints between adjacent sections may be carried out, the platforms situated inside the tower once erected being detachable, stackable and transportable.

Adjustable scaffolding

An adjustable scaffolding that may adjust to the curvature of a structure. The adjustable scaffolding may comprise a main member, pegs, wing platforms, and rails. A method of use may be employed in which the main member is attached to a structure. The pegs may be secured to the main member in any desired orientation to adjust to the curvature of a structure. Wing platforms may be placed over the pegs, allowing a user to walk along the wing platform. Railing is placed within the pegs, allowing the pegs and the railing to secure the wing platform to the main member.
