Shield
A temporary shield erected between two flanged structural members of a bridge or other structure, and a method for erection of the shield. A plurality of length-adjustable beams have end portions which are rested on flanges respectively of the structural members in a manner so that they are not fixed thereto. Decking is attached to the beams. At least one elongate member is cantileverly extended from at least one of the beams to underlie a structural member flange to prevent wind lift-up of the shield. A shield is also erected by adjusting the lengths of and hanging the end portions of each of a multitude of beams from the structure with the beams lying side-by-side. Decking is attached to the beams.
Scaffolding
A scaffolding assembly adapted to be releasably attached to an elongate support member such as an overhead pipe. The scaffolding assembly has a split collar and a platform assembly adapted to be releasably attached to the split collar. The split collar comprises at least two segments which can encircle the pipe and be secured to one another. The platform assembly which includes a platform deck has a connector formation which extends laterally outwardly from the deck to an extent that it can engage a receiving formation on the collar assembly and thereby attach the platform assembly to the collar assembly.
CATWALK FLOORBEAM CONNECTION SYSTEM
A catwalk system having a pair of side trusses formed of a top cord and bottom cord connected by a plurality of vertical posts and diagonal posts. The bottom cords have a plurality of joints formed of a bottom plate, opposing side plates and wing plates that form a pocket. These pockets receive an end of floorbeams which are bolted to the side plates. The bottom plate also includes a wind brace section that receives an end of a diagonal wind brace therein. The fabricated side trusses are shipped to the job site where the catwalk is quickly and easily assembled by aligning a pair of side trusses in parallel space alignment and installing floorbeams in the pockets of opposing joints. To provide additional rigidity diagonal wind braces are installed in a zig-zag formation between diagonally opposite joints. This arrangement provides a quickly assembled catwalk that requires minimal assembly.

Aircraft Internal Hanging Scaffold
A method and apparatus for assembling a hanging scaffold system within the aft pressure bulkhead area of an aircraft to provide access to the pressure dome without contacting the pressure dome. The hanging scaffold system comprises a group of horizontal supports to support at least one floorboard. A group of vertical supports is connected to and extends perpendicularly from the group of horizontal supports. A clamping device is attached to each vertical support of the group of vertical supports and further engages an attachment point on an internal structure of an aircraft.
Void Platforms
A panel is disclosed which is suitable for installation to form a platform or part of a platform in a void of a building structure. The panel is operable to extend between a first support member and a second support member both of which extend across at least a portion of the void. The panel has: a deck component with: a first end and a second end opposite the first end; a pair of opposed, substantially straight sides each extending from the first end to the second end; and a substantially planar surface portion which extends: between the opposed sides at the first end, and from the first end at least part of the way, but not necessarily all the way, to the second end; and one or more first engaging formations at the first end of the deck component and operable to engage with the first support member to support the deck component relative to the first support member, and one or more second engaging formations at the second end of the deck component and operable to engage with the second support member to support the deck component relative to the second support member. At least one out of the first and second engaging formation(s) is/are configured to support the relevant end of the deck component relative to the relevant support member from approximately directly vertically beneath, and/or from approximately within vertical planes containing, each of the straight sides of the deck component.
Adjustable beam anchor system
An adjustable beam anchor system comprising a first elongated bar member having a plurality of longitudinally-spaced apertures, an attachment system, a first pivot system, a second pivot system, and a second elongated bar member having a plurality of apertures. The attachment system comprises a saddle and a connector ring. The first pivot system broadly comprising a first coupling unit, a first pivot unit, and a first ball bearing pin, wherein the first pivot system may rotate or pivot around the first elongated bar member. The second pivot system comprising a second coupling unit, a second pivot unit, and a second ball bearing pin, wherein the second pivot system may rotate or pivot around the first elongated bar member. The second elongated bar member comprising a plurality of apertures and an anchor foot, wherein the second elongated bar member may rotate or pivot around the second coupling unit.
POST CONNECTION ADAPTER
A post connection adapter for detachably fastening a scaffolding post to a support includes a fastening body having first and second fastening-body fasteners in first and second fastening-body fastening positions, respectively, and detachably fastenable to the support selectively by the first or second fastener. The first and second positions have a fastening position distance between each other of 72 mm. The post connection adapter includes a post connection body extending toward the post connection body axis and fastened to the fastening body. An imaginary center plane containing an imaginary center point between the first and second positions is offset by 20 mm perpendicular to the center plane and to the post connection body axis, with respect to a post connection body axis plane extending parallel to the center plane and containing the post connection body axis. A device has two identical post connection adapters detachably fastened to a support.
Bracing clamp for beams
A clamping assembly for communication with beam members is provided. Clamping assemblies of the present disclosure are useful for attaching to various beams including, but not limited to, concrete I-beams. The clamping assemblies are useful for supporting a beam prior to complete installation of the beam in its intended location. Risk associated with beam movement, tipping and falling is mitigated by embodiments of the present disclosure.
