MODULAR SCAFFOLD
A modular scaffold, which includes parts to be joined to each other, which parts are at least standards, ledgers, working platforms and the necessary railings, and also ladders. The parts of the modular scaffold are fabricated mainly from plastic and/or fiber composite.
RECONFIGURABLE STANCHION AND GUARDRAIL SYSTEM
A reconfigurable stanchion for supporting a guardrail on a support surface has a substantially vertically oriented elongated guardrail support configured to support a guardrail, a mounting arm configured to reversibly receive the guardrail support and an adjustable fastening assembly releasably attached to the mounting arm. The ability to reversibly mount the guardrail support on different portions of the mounting arm and the ability to relocate and reconfigure the fastening assembly on the mounting arm permits the use of the same stanchion in a guardrail system for a variety of different support surfaces, including balconies, open-hole ledges, flat roofs and parapet roofs.
ENCLOSURE SYSTEM FOR SCAFFOLDING
An enclosure system is provided for weatherproofing the work area on a standard scaffold structure adjacent a vertical wall surface and attachment thereto, comprising a framework consisting of a plurality of spaced apart base bars joined to an equal plurality of extension bars, and an overlying weatherproofing layer.
PLATFORM AND A KIT THEREFOR
A platform and a kit therefor. The platform and the kit comprises quad-chord trusses attachable end-to-end and having connector members intermediate thereof, and further comprising beams attachable at their ends to the connector members so that a beam attaches two parallel trusses. A truss comprises first and second pairs of chords which are foldable for storage and transport and unfoldable to use for erection of the platform. A track lies between the upper chords to allow movement of bolts along the track into position to attach for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The kit also includes a sturdy and reliable and easy to use tie-up mechanism and railing along the platform perimeter which is quickly and easily attachable and reliable.
Lockable Scaffold Toeboard System Using Sleeves
A scaffold toeboard system for locking a toeboard between two vertical scaffold members where each vertical scaffold member includes a tubular member having a diameter and an outer shape. The toeboard system includes a toeboard having an elongated member with a fixed terminating end and an adjustable terminating end. The toeboard further includes a front portion, a top edge, a bottom edge and a rear portion. The toeboard system further includes a second sleeve fixed to the fixed end of the toeboard, and a first sleeve fixed to the adjustable end of the toeboard. Slidably positioned in the first sleeve is a slide lock sleeve. The toeboard system a locking mechanism slidably mounted to the adjustable terminating end, to fix the position of the slide lock sleeve to the first sleeve. The slide lock sleeve included two fingers or tabs extending outwardly from the front edge of the slide lock sleeve. The two fingers separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member.
EDGE PROTECTION BARRIER SEPARATE HANDRAIL
A barrier that includes a plurality of first wires that extend in a horizontal direction is provided. The barrier can include a plurality of second wires that extend in a vertical direction. The barrier can include at least one third wire that extends in a direction orthogonal to the vertical direction. The plurality of second wires and one or more wires of the plurality of first wires can form a first portion extending in a first plane defined by the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. The at least one third wire and at least one wire of the plurality of first wires can form a second portion extending in a second plane defined by the horizontal direction and a transverse direction. The plurality of second wires can be excluded from the second portion. The at least one third wire can be excluded from the first portion.
BARRIER HANDRAIL REINFORCED TRUSS BEAM
A barrier that includes a plurality of first wires that each extend in a horizontal direction is provided. The barrier can include a plurality of second wires that each have a first portion that extends in a vertical direction and a second portion that extends in a direction orthogonal to the vertical direction and at an angle between the horizontal direction and a transverse direction. The second portions of each of the plurality of second wires can collectively define a midline that extends in the horizontal direction and substantially bisects the second portions of the plurality of second wires. The second portions of each of the plurality of second wires can collectively form a zig-zag pattern along the midline.
Modular Roof Mounted Staging Bracket and Rail Members
An apparatus for supporting workers and materials above-grade on both the cave and gable ends of a structure is disclosed. The apparatus can be combined with one or more additional staging apparatuses to create a staging system for the support of persons or materials while work is being done on a structure, e.g., roofing, siding, etc. The modular design of the apparatus simplifies installation, such that it can be readily attached to a roof or other support member of a structure by a single person, and facilitates the adjustable vertical positioning of people or materials along the walls of the structure. The staging system can also include a rail member for safety support and alternative scaffolding arrangements.
Modular roof mounted staging bracket with safety rails
An apparatus for supporting workers and materials above-grade on both the eave and gable ends of a structure is disclosed. Lockable Scaffold Toeboard System
The toeboard system further includes a locking mechanism slidably mounted to the adjustable terminating end, where the locking mechanism includes a lock member body with a front edge and two fingers positioned on said locking mechanism and extending outwardly from the front edge of the locking member. The two fingers separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member. The locking mechanism further includes a lock, where the lock is actuatable to fix the position of the lock member body with respect to the toeboard. The fixed terminating end is shaped to engage a scaffold vertical member.
