A BRACE FOR A SAFETY DECK
A brace for a safety deck is disclosed. The brace comprises a pair of spaced apart wing portions to receive a portion of a standard therebetween and an engagement portion oriented at an angle to the spaced apart wing portions, the engagement portion to engage a portion of a diagonal to position the portion of the diagonal relative to the portion of the standard.
Clamp for interconnecting components of a shoring apparatus
Disclosed herein is a clamp for interconnecting two components of a support apparatus such as components of a shoring apparatus for concrete forming systems. A clamp member having a moveable jaw is received for pivotal movement in a housing that is secured to one of the components. A plurality of flutes disposed at an angle to the pivot axis of the clamp member are received in coacting recesses in the housing and a proximal cap maintains the desired position of the clamp member within the housing. Axial movement of the clamp member will pivot the swing arm and a coacting, moveable jaw toward a fixed jaw formed in the housing to releasably secure the clamp to the other component.

Clamp for connecting ledger to shoring post
The disclosure is directed to a clamp for connecting a ledger to a shoring post. The clamp includes a base member, a ledger-connecting member, and a first jaw, which are fixed connected to each other. The clamp includes a rotatable member inserted into the base member, which is rotatable and slidable in the base member along a longitudinal axis. A portion of the rotatable member is accessible via the slot of the base member. The clamp includes a second jaw fixedly connected to the rotatable member. The clamp further includes a wedge, and when the wedge is inserted into the slot of the base member to engage the rotatable member in a lock position, the first and second jaws are locked to capture two sides of a shoring post.

Lockable scaffold toeboard system using sleeves
A scaffold toeboard system for locking a toeboard between two vertical scaffold members where each vertical scaffold member includes a tubular member having a diameter and an outer shape. The toeboard system includes a toeboard having an elongated member with a fixed terminating end and an adjustable terminating end. The toeboard further includes a front portion, a top edge, a bottom edge, and a rear portion. The toeboard system further includes a second sleeve fixed to the fixed end of the toeboard, and a first sleeve fixed to the adjustable end of the toeboard. Slidably positioned in the first sleeve is a slide lock sleeve. The toeboard system includes a locking mechanism positioned at the adjustable terminating end, to fix the position of the slide lock sleeve to the first sleeve. The slide lock sleeve includes two fingers or tabs extending outwardly from the front edge of the slide lock sleeve. The two fingers are separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member.

Kit for erecting a platform
A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.
