In one implementation, the modular post includes a longitudinal extruded post having a first end and a second end. Each end of the longitudinal extruded post is configured to receive a post end component. The longitudinal extruded post includes a plurality of grooves cut into the longitudinal extruded post at predetermined locations along the post.
