The core active components of the present composition, termed as de-ironizing inducers (DII), has a reducing agent and a precipitating agent. Molar ratios of the reducing agent with the precipitating agent range from 1:3-6 and the core components in the skincare product range from 0.1% to 10% w/w. The pH value of the skincare product is between 6.6 and 7.4. The skin care products can safely and effectively remove iron in the skin, which has been shown to accelerate skin natural aging and photoaging. The core components can also be used in combination with conventional skincare product compounds to achieve better anti-aging effects.

ORAL CARE PARTICLES AND SYSTEM FOR THE ADMINISTRATION THEREOF

Disclosed is a system and method for the delivery, into interdental spaces, of oral care active agents contained in particles. The particles are made of one or more superabsorbent polymers (SAP), and are of size generally small enough to be easily applied into an interdental space. To this end, the particles typically have a length of below 1.5 mm. By virtue of the SAP's ability of absorbing several times its own weight in water, the particles will swell once in contact with saliva. As a result, the volume of the particles as applied in between teeth increases by at least eight times, thereby effectively making the particles larger than the average interdental gap size. The particles, once swollen, are thus held more firmly between the walls of the interdental space, thus preventing them from being easily washed away.

The present invention relates to a composition for skin external application. Specifically, a composition for skin external application comprising a stably formed lamella liquid crystal phase can be provided according to the present invention. In addition, according to the present invention, the composition can provide excellent skin moisturizing and skin barrier strengthening effects upon application on the skin, as well as act effectively as an agent for a cannabinoid type 1 receptor, such that it is expected that the present invention can provide a very effective effect for treatment or improvement of skin diseases and mental disorders associated with skin diseases.

Hydrophobic aerogels comprising low occupancy of monofunctional units

The problem addressed by the invention is that of producing aerogels which have as high and permanent a hydrophobicity as possible and which have a reduced combustibility, that is as low a carbon content as possible, and are simultaneously less rigid and brittle than known systems, i.e. which with reduced combustibility have a high flexibility and high stability at the same time, that is high mechanical load-bearing capacity. Said problem is solved in that the invention provides gels chosen from lyogel or aerogel, which are synthesised from oxide units and [R.sub.xSiO.sub.(4-x)/2] units, wherein the primary particles have a change of concentration in [R.sub.xSiO.sub.(4-x)/2] units from the inside to the outside, wherein x can be the same or different and is 1 or 2, and R can be the same or different and is hydrogen or an organic substituted or unsubstituted radical, and wherein the oxide units contain [SiO.sub.4/2] units, and a method for producing same. The gels provided can be used in cosmetic, medical or for chromatographic applications, and as a catalyst or catalyst support. If the gels are aerogels, same are preferably used for thermal and/or acoustic insulation.

Flat elliptical polymer particles, and use thereof

These flat elliptical polymer particles have a front view, a planar view, and a side view in a projection diagram based on third-angle projection which are all elliptical. The flat elliptical polymer particles satisfy (1)-(4): (1) the average length (L.sub.AV) of flat portions satisfies 0.13(L.sub.AV)500 m; (2) the average breadth (D.sub.AV) of the flat portions satisfies 0.1(D.sub.AV)250 m; (3) the average (P1.sub.AV) aspect ratio (L/D) calculated from the length (L) and the breadth (D) satisfies 1.3<P1.sub.AV50; and (4) the average (P2.sub.AV) aspect ratio (D/T) calculated from the breadth (D) and the thickness (T) of the side surface satisfies 1.2<P2.sub.AV100.
