TUBES HAVING MEASUREMENT LINES AND METHODS FOR USE
Disclosed is a tube comprising an outer surface, an inner surface, a lumen defined by the inner surface, and circumferential lines disposed on the outer surface of the tube. In certain embodiments, the circumferential lines serve as measurement guides to select a desired length, and to accurately and cleanly cut the tube to a desired length. In other embodiments, diametrically opposed lines are disposed on the tube in pairs, thereby allowing a user to locate a point on the tube 180 degrees away from a given point. In certain embodiments, the tube may be used to create cylindrical columns. In certain embodiments, concrete is poured into the lumen of the tube to form concrete columns. In alternative embodiments, the tube is used as a guide to cut pipes to a desired length.
TRE assemble permanent column formwork and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention discloses a TRC assemble permanent column formwork and a manufacturing method thereof, which belongs to the technical field of reinforced concrete building construction. The TRE assemble permanent column formwork comprises first panels, second panels, circumferential bolts, longitudinal bolts, nuts and gaskets; the formwork is manufactured from an engineered cementitious composite ECC and a woven fabric net; the first panels are used for assembling the column formwork at the two ends of a column, and the second panels are used for assembling the column formwork in the middle section of the column; the panels are provided with preformed bolt holes, and the bolt holes among the panels are corresponding to each other for bolt connections; the bolts include circumferential bolts and longitudinal bolts. The TRE permanent column formwork provided by the present invention can reduce material waste, labor cost, and project cost. Besides, the panels have advantages of easy and firm assembling, convenient transportation and low manufacturing cost, and the formwork has great application prospects.
Concrete Pier Foundation Anchor Bolt Support and Chamfer Form
Embodiments of the Concrete Form include a form tube, chamfer disk, and one or more cross-members. The cross-members are comprised of a center pivot aperture, two bolt guides, which are formed by the cross-members, end clamps, and an optional clamp. The chamfer disk is a disk that sits atop of the form tube and forms side chamfers in positive relief when placed upon the form tube when the concrete cures. The optional conduit clamp can be used to hold any conduit, tube or any other item during the pour. In another embodiment of the Concrete Form is comprised of a form tube, chamfer disk, end clamps, four or more bottom slide arms, and four or more top slide arms.
Modular units for insulating concrete forms
Embodiments of modular building units (blocks) are disclosed that can be stacked to provide insulating concrete forms (ICFs). The blocks are formed of a foamed polymer material, such as foamed polyurethane. The blocks, when assembled together in an ICF, are configured to form one or more vertical columns of concrete and one or more horizontal beams of concrete intersecting the one or more columns, in a manner of post and beam construction. The blocks can be tightly interlocked with other blocks in a construction process. The disclosed blocks can include significant interior space for rebar and concrete to be inserted to construct the structure. Molds and methods for producing modular units are also disclosed. The molds and methods enable rapid production and removal of modular building units from the molds. Methods of constructing structures using the modular building units are also disclosed.
FRP composite wrapped grooved-wall lining tubular structure, and method of manufacturing
A forming tube for forming and reinforcing a concrete column includes a tubular lining and a fiber-reinforced composite shell. The tubular lining is made from a first material, and has inner and outer tubular surfaces. The inner tubular surface has a plurality of ridge units displaced from one another in a direction of an axis. Each ridge unit has a plurality of ridges displaced from one another in a circumferential direction. The fiber-reinforced composite shell is made from a second material different from the first material, and is configured to enclose the outer tubular surface. The fiber-reinforced composite shell is formed by winding a prepreg filament on the outer tubular surface, followed by curing the prepreg filament.
Concrete pier foundation anchor bolt support and chamfer form
Embodiments of the Concrete Form include a form tube, chamfer disk, and one or more form cross-members. The form cross-members are comprised of a center pivot, two bolt guides, which are formed by the cross-members, and an optional clamp. The chamfer disk is a disk that sits atop of the form tube and forms side chamfers when placed upon the form tube when the concrete cures. The chamfer disk is a separate formed or molded piece that will sit on top of the tube form in order to form a chamfer in the concrete. The chanfer disk is a ring-shaped device with the chamfer formed in positive relief under the ring of the chamfer disk. The optional clamp can be used to hold any conduit, tube or any other item during the pour.
System for Forming Ventilated Crawl Spaces or Interspaces or Elevated Platforms Composed by Dome-Shaped Formwork Elements Supported on Supporting Tubes Resting on a Foundation or on a Surface
A system for forming ventilated crawl spaces or interspaces or elevated platforms which comprise dome-shaped formwork elements supported on supporting tubes; the ventilated crawl space or interspace or elevated platform comprises first and second interconnection elements, which communicate with each other, the first interconnection elements also communicating with a lower end of the supporting tubes so as to form a channeled receptacle, which rests on a foundation or on a surface, the channeled receptacle being adapted to receive a concrete casting to form a beam for connection between the supporting tubes.
METHOD OF INSTALLING AND SUPPORTING A FABRIC FORM, AND A BRACKET THEREFOR
There is provided a connector for coupling a fabric form and/or tubular form to a formwork. The connector includes a first elongate member connectable to the form and a second elongate member coupled to the first elongate member. The connector has a first position which is substantially planar so to extend parallel to and pierce the form. The connector may snap-fit couple and/or clamp to the form via the first elongate member. The first elongate member is foldable on itself and/or about an end portion of the form. The connector has a second position which is L-shaped. The second elongate member in the second position cantilevers outwards from the first elongate member so as to operatively connect to a base, temporary support member and/or formwork. The first elongate member pivotally, hingedly and/or foldably couples to the second elongate member and may thereafter lock in place in the second position.
