Device and process for thermal isolation of technical elements
Process for fire resistant protection of the technical elements of a building by means of one or more prefabricated isolation blocks, enabling pre-isolation of a vacant space in the structure of a building. The block comprises an easily modelled fire resistant material and is disposed before pouring the concrete of the structure of the building. The prefabricated block is then opened up in such a manner as to install the technical elements having to be protected from fire.
Block out chair system used to make a block out or a pass-through in a concrete slab
A block out chair system that is used to make a block out for a railing or to make a pass-through in a concrete slab. the block out chair system is a circular flat base that defines a circular aperture within the circular flat base, at least three supports that extend perpendicularly outward from the circular flat base, a hollow cylinder that has a perimeter wall that extends linearly outward from the at least three supports, the hollow cylinder defines a plurality of teeth that are configured to secure a foam cylinder, and a solid foam cylinder that is inserted within the hollow cylinder.
INDICATOR CAP FOR PIPE PENETRATIONS
This disclosure relates to an indicator cap for a pipe penetration. In one aspect, the indicator cap comprises a cap body, wherein the cap body comprises an engagement portion for engaging the indicator cap with the pipe, and a capping portion connected to the engagement portion for covering an open end of the pipe, and wherein a surface of the capping portion supports a means for aiding location of the indicator cap and thus the pipe, wherein the means for aiding location is adapted so as to not impede screeding thereover, and to indicate the position of the cap and thus the pipe post screeding.
CEILING PLATE
A roadway coverplate for an assembly of an inductive charging device for inductively charging a motor vehicle, may include a main body and a cover. The main body may have an upper side for parking a motor vehicle and a lower side facing away from the upper side. The main body, on the lower side, may include a depression configured to receive the assembly. The cover may cover the depression and may, outside the depression, bear on a bearing portion of the lower side. The cover may be coupled in a force-fitting manner to the lower side in the bearing portion and may be configured to conjointly support a load acting on the upper side.
Form for making structures
A form for forming a void or an architectural feature of a predetermined configuration in a moldable forming composition is disclosed. Embodiments of the invention provide an adjustable form body having first and second sides, said form body configurable between a first substantially planar position and a second non-planar position. In some embodiments, the form comprises a surface coating. A form body according to example embodiments of the invention has a plurality of grooves.
Sleeve assembly for a poured concrete deck
A sleeve assembly for poured concrete decks has a tubular sleeve connected to a base flange by stiffeners or an optional base wall. An intumescent ring and fire ring plate are fastened to the base flange. The stiffeners and optional base wall are configured so concrete passes between the stiffeners to entrain a fire ring plate and ring of intumescent material in the concrete by passing through a gap between the base wall and the sleeve or through open windows in the base wall to entrain the base wall when it is present.
Pull off pipe cap
A pull off pipe cap (1) that fully seals the end of the pipe or pipe fitting to protect the pipe during construction especially while pouring concrete foundations around pipes. The pull off pipe cap is easily found under poured concrete and is easily removed from the pipe or pipe fitting without a need for demolition of the concrete slab and excavation around the pipe.
COVER ASSEMBLY AND METHODS
Systems and methods of installing a fixture into a material are provided. The fixture includes a body and a cover assembly that is removably coupled to the body and configured to move relative to the body once the body has been secured within the material. The cover assembly includes a movable component configured to aid removal of the cover assembly.
FIRE STOP FOR A PASSAGEWAY
A tubular fire stop assembly for a poured concrete structure defines at least a portion of a passage through the structure during use. The assembly has a base with a tubular sleeve, both encircling and extending along the passage. A fire ring is connected to the base and has a plate with a central opening encircling the passage. An intumescent ring has inner and outer sidewalls and opposing top and bottom walls. The intumescent ring is inside the base, encircles the passage and rests on the fire ring plate. A woven, galvanized wire mesh casing extends along the inner and outer sidewalls and the top wall of the intumescent ring.
Bracket for positioning and protecting pipes in concrete
A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.
