Systems and Methods of Concrete Apparatus with Incorporated Lifter
20200123794 · 2020-04-23 · ·

Systems and methods for a concrete apparatus with incorporated lifter are provided. A concrete apparatus is formed by placing a reinforcement system in a mold. The reinforcement system comprises a lifter. Concrete is poured into the mold such that the lifter protrudes from the poured concrete. After the concrete has hardened and the mold is removed, the lifter is used to carry and position the concrete apparatus. After the concrete apparatus is positioned, the lifter is removed at the circumference of the concrete apparatus leaving no holes, thereby eliminating water leakage due to lifting methods.

Concrete anchor coupling assembly and anchor rod holder

Concrete coupling assembly comprises a base holder for being attached to a concrete forming surface, the base holder including a central opening; a coupler having one end disposed within the central opening, the coupler having an axis for being positioned substantially transverse to the forming surface, the coupler having first and second threaded bores through the one end for attachment of a threaded rod; and a separate anchor body threadedly attached to another end of the coupler.

Lifting anchors
10626626 · 2020-04-21 · ·

A lifting anchor for embedment into a concrete component, the anchor having a head for releasable engagement with lifting equipment, and at least one leg extending from the head, the leg being profiled so as to lock into the surrounding concrete, wherein the profiling is formed by a series of formations arranged along at least a face and adjacent edge of the leg.

Lifting and leveling insert for a precast concrete slab

An insert for lifting and leveling a precast concrete slab is provided. The insert includes a sleeve that extends through the concrete slab and has two distinct threaded portions on an inner surface of the sleeve. This configuration allows a lifting bolt to be positioned into an upper end of the sleeve to lift the concrete slab, and a different-sized leveling bolt to be positioned in the sleeve to selectively elevate or raise part of the concrete slab relative to a ground surface.

Building unit and building

A building unit constitutes part of a two or more story building. The building unit includes: a first unit that is pre-assembled somewhere other than at a building site and constitutes one of a plurality of floors; a second unit that is pre-assembled somewhere other than at the building site and constitutes a floor above the first unit out of the plurality of floors; and a space path (upper and lower floor air circulation duct that spatially communicates with the first unit and the second unit.

PULLING-OUT DEVICE FOR PREFABRICATED CONCRETE SUPPORT WALL

A pulling-out device for a prefabricated concrete support wall, belonging to the field of concrete support structures, wherein a vertical hollow tube is pre-buried in the prefabricated concrete support wall. The pulling-out device includes a pulling-out mechanism disposed in the hollow tube by penetration, the lower end of the pulling-out mechanism is fixedly arranged in the prefabricated concrete support wall and positioned at the lower end of the hollow tube, a first fixing device for tensing the pulling-out mechanism is arranged at the upper end of the pulling-out mechanism, and the first fixing device is not connected with the prefabricated concrete support wall.

Lifting anchor assembly for precast concrete structures

A lifting anchor assembly that is configured to be embedded in a tilt-up concrete structure includes an anchor member that has a central portion configured to engage a lift apparatus and a pair of legs that extend downward from the central portion. A lower portion of each of the pair of legs includes a curved section configured to engage within a concrete structure during its forming process. A spacer may be selected to attach at an end portion of each the pair of legs, where the spacers each extend downward from the anchor member and rest on a floor surface of a concrete form to support the anchor member at a desired spacing from the floor and upright within the concrete structure that is cast in the concrete form.

Oval cover member for pre-cast concrete lift hook
11885143 · 2024-01-30 ·

An oval cover member is formed of high density polyethylene and sized to cover a pocket in which a lift member is secured to a pre-cast concrete structural member. The cover member can be secured to the lift member by a cable tie threaded through the opening of a first protrusion, back through a smaller opening in a second protrusion and pulled to draw the cover member tightly against the concrete structural member. The opposing protrusions form a valley therebetween for the positioning of the lift member. The size of the smaller opening in the second protrusion is too small for the passage of the head of the cable tie, enabling the cover member to be tightly secured to the lift member. A peripheral channel in the cover member can receive a gasket or adhesive that can seal the cover member against the surface of the concrete structural member.

COMPOSITE TILT-UP PANEL
20190383045 · 2019-12-19 ·

Composite precast concrete panels are described herein having have an anchor that distributes forces imposed on the anchor through concrete wythes of the panels. Specifically, pins can be embedded in at least one concrete wythe, and then the anchor is secured to the wythe as described herein. The anchor extends through another Wythe to selectively connect to a hoist system that moves and places the composite precast concrete panel. The forces imposed on the anchor are distributed through the pins and into multiple concrete wythes to prevent failure of the composite precast concrete panels and improve safety.

MODULAR COOLING TOWER STRUCTURE, DESIGN, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY

A method of designing a modular cooling tower cell which may utilize mechanicals from a preexisting cell and assembling the modular cell within a cooling field in-situ using a series of custom modules. After collecting a data set from a preexisting cooling tower cell and removing the preexisting tower, a build specification is generated, including calculating a cut list for vertical and horizontal members which will form the basis of the plurality of modules forming the cell. The members are fabricated and include a plurality of connection points which allow for sizing adjustments without affecting the connection points. The modules are then constructed using the data set from the preexisting tower to form a plurality of modules comprising a cell matrix based on the data set from the preexisting cooling tower cell.
