Self-closing entryway partition
An apparatus for an entryway includes: a sheet of material having a top, a bottom, a left side, and a right side, and a sleeve at the top of the sheet of material. The sheet of material has an opening extending to the bottom of the sheet of material between the left side and the right side of the sheet of material from a position below the sleeve. The opening has a left seam and a right seam, wherein a first magnet is positioned at the left seam of the opening and a second magnet is positioned at the right seam of the opening, wherein the first and second magnets are magnetically coupled. A variable-length cross member has a first end and a second end. The cross member is positioned in the sleeve and includes a first securing mechanism at the first end and a second securing mechanism at the second end that secure the cross member respectively to body portions of a first vertical pole and a second vertical pole.
PROTECTIVE BARRIER COMPRISING A SEAM HAVING AN INTEGRATED DUSTCOVER SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR ITS USE
The present protective barrier is similar to those commonly installed beneath ceilings during construction work being performed on ceilings or roofs of buildings, wherein two or more sections are sewn together to construct the protective barrier. However, the present protective barrier also comprises a dustcover, which covers the seam entirely preventing dust from passing through holes created when the seam is sewn using a thread or similar means.
Modular and reusable temporary construction wall
A modular, reusable temporary enclosure system is particularly suited for the renovation of buildings having stacked concrete floors supported by steel and/or concrete columns. The system consists of a set of track components, one fastened to the floor, and one fastened to the ceiling. Columns assembled from rigid panels are supported and aligned between these components. The panel edges are connected to one another by an interfacing spline assembly. To ensure that the components can be brought up to the construction site by elevator, individual panels are shorter than the full distance between the floors.
Support post
A support post for releasable fixation between a first and a second floor, comprising: a first and a second elongate member telescopically connected to one another, first floor and second floor engaging members positioned at the ends of the first and second elongate members, a displacement unit for displacing the first floor engaging member, a spring biasing the first floor engaging member in a direction away from the first elongate member, the first floor engaging member being moveable in towards the upper end of the first elongate member against the force of the spring, a first inspection window in the first elongate member, a second inspection window adjacent to the first inspection window, an indicator having a first marking arranged at the second inspection window in a relaxed state of the spring, and having a second marking arranged at the second inspection window in a loaded state of the spring.
Partition mount with integrated plunger assembly
A partition mount system includes an integrated plunger assembly. The integrated plunger assembly is constructed and arranged to be integrated into an interior of an end of an extension pole, for example a standard telescoping extension pole. Mounting of the plunger in an interior portion of the pole in this manner provides for a sleek design that is relatively lightweight. Assuming that the pole in which the anchor is mounted is part of a telescoping pole system, the anchor and plunger do not interfere with full travel of the interior pole with respect to other poles in the telescoping system. In this manner, operation of the telescoping pole system is not inhibited by the integrated plunger assembly.
CAP FOR A TEMPORARY WALL SYSTEM PROVIDING FIRE BARRIER PROTECTION
A barrier system for partitioning a space includes wall panels which interlock with each other to provide a modular wall that is fire rated. The interlocking panels are assembled in the barrier in columns using a first tongue and groove assembly and a panel lock using a strike and latch supported by the tongue member and groove member, respectively. The barrier system further includes cap panel which adjoin each at a joint to provide a modular ceiling that is fire rated. The cap panels are assembled in the barrier to corresponding wall panels using a second tongue and groove assembly and a panel lock using a strike and latch supported by the tongue member and groove member, respectively.
PARTITION MOUNTING SYSTEMS, PARTITION ASSEMBLY KITS, DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND APPLICATION
A partition assembly kit, includes a receptacle, a first strap, and a first zipper having a length greater than 50% a height of a standard-sized entry way. The strap and the first zipper are provided within the receptacle.
T-BAR CLAMP FOR SUSPENDED CEILING GRID AND METHOD OF USE
An assembly for coupling polyethylene or similar sheeting to a suspended ceiling system to form a temporary curtain barrier. A first component has a pointed shaft configured to pierce through the sheeting, and a pair of opposing jaws configured to grip opposing edges of a T-shaped rail of the ceiling system. A second component is configured to engage the shaft of the first component to lock the first component to the tee and trap the sheeting impaled on the shaft.
Partition mount system including head coupler with adjustable head length and head position
A coupler comprises a first channel having a first axis of extension in a first horizontal direction and a second channel having a second axis of extension in the first horizontal direction. The second axis of extension is parallel to and spaced apart from the first axis of extension in a second horizontal direction. The second axis of extension has a pitch angle relative to the first axis of extension in a vertical direction, the pitch angle being less than 180 degrees. The first and second channels each include head-mounting features, the head-mounting features constructed and arranged to retain an elongated head to the coupler while permitting movement of the elongated head relative to the coupler in the first horizontal direction.
