ROOF AND WALL COVER SYSTEM
A method of providing covers over at least a portion of a roof of a storm damaged built structure that includes the steps of: applying a sheet of heat shrinkable film over the portion of the roof, the sheet having a leading edge and a trailing edge and being a film of low density polyethylene including shrinking resins; wrapping portions of the leading edge around a first batten and attaching the first batten to the underside of a first eave or to the facia of the built structure; wrapping portions of the trailing edge around a second batten and attaching the second batten to the underside of a second eave or to the facia of the built structure at a location different than the first batten; and heating the sheet of heat shrinkable film to bring the film into conformity with the portion of the roof, wherein the heating step shrinks the sheet of film tight against the built structure to cover over the portion of the roof.
Self-closing entryway partition
An apparatus for an entryway includes: a sheet of material having a top, a bottom, a left side, and a right side, and a sleeve at the top of the sheet of material. The sheet of material has an opening extending to the bottom of the sheet of material between the left side and the right side of the sheet of material from a position below the sleeve. The opening has a left seam and a right seam, wherein a first magnet is positioned at the left seam of the opening and a second magnet is positioned at the right seam of the opening, wherein the first and second magnets are magnetically coupled. A variable-length cross member has a first end and a second end. The cross member is positioned in the sleeve and includes a first securing mechanism at the first end and a second securing mechanism at the second end that secure the cross member respectively to body portions of a first vertical pole and a second vertical pole.
FLEXIBLE AIR DUCT SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND USE THEREOF
A housing is constructed and arranged to be mounted to a curtain. The housing can include an aperture. Upon installation of the housing to the curtain, a portion of the curtain is removed in the region of the aperture. A flexible air duct can be presented through the aperture.
HEAT SHRINK COVERING OF BUILT STRUCTURES AND METHOD
TARP SYSTEM
A tarp system includes a flexible tarp for covering a structure, the flexible tarp having a top surface, a bottom surface and having a peripheral edge, and a set of first connector portions located on the top surface of the flexible tarp and located internal to the periphery edge of the flexible tarp and configured to engage with a second connector portion located on one of a plurality of bladders. The tarp system further can include a plurality of bladders configured to be releasably located on the top surface of the flexible tarp and configured for retention of a ballast fluid to provide weighted anchorage for the tarp system on the structure.
FLOOR COVER
A floor cover having at least a first sheet consisting of a first layer, consisting of an elongated flexible surface, a material thereof consisting of polyethylene foam, the elongated flexible surface for being laid on a floor surface a second layer, including a plurality of rigid plates being at least four, disposed aside one another, a material thereof consisting of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), the rigid plates being non-movably attached to the elongated flexible surface by glue, the attaching including gaps between the rigid plates, the gaps being sufficiently large for allowing folding all adjacent rigid plates of the plurality of rigid plates one on top of the other, for disposing all of the rigid plates parallel to one another at the folded state and at least one wire threaded through the rigid plates, for pulling an end of the at least one wire for applying the folding.
Containment shroud system
An apparatus and method for the containment of vertical structures using a flexible, collapsible, and movable shroud. The shroud containment system protects the surrounding environment by catching liquid and solid debris and contaminants from the inside and protects the enshrouded structure and workers from wind, debris, contaminants, and precipitation on the outside as well as providing enhanced protection against falling persons and equipment. The shroud also conceals the vertical structure in whole or in part and greatly eases the setup, takedown, and relocation of the shroud along the axis of the vertical structure due to its modular, impermanent design and method of erection, collapse, and translation.
BUILDING DEBRIS CONTAINMENT SYSTEM
A debris containment system includes channel units that are configured to attach to perimeter structural members of the building (e.g., vertical columns and/or horizontal beams) and extend outward from the perimeter of the building. Channel units can be produced in any length or lengths needed for a given application. These channel units are used to lift and support barrier members (e.g., nets, tarps, canvas/fabric, or other barrier members) to create barriers along the perimeter of the building. Importantly, these channel units are generally attached directly or indirectly (e.g., via temporary vertical members) to structures that will remain on the building (e.g., structural columns and to beams of the building) as opposed to being used with separate framing structures erected outside of the building perimeter, although in some exemplary embodiments, channel units can be used on structures erected outside of the perimeter of the building.
Roof Cover System Improvement
A roof cover of a building under construction includes a heat shrinkable film stretched over the roof framing of said building under construction. The film brought into conformity with said roof framing through application of heat. The film may be formed by a number of adjoining sheets or strips of material.
Column Climbing Building Site Protection Device, System and Method
A device for raising a temporary wall to enclose an area includes a main body, a drive wheel attached centrally to the main body, a motor mounted on the main body and configured to drive the drive wheel, and a hook portion attached each end of the main body. Each hook portion has an arm member extending from the main body, a wheel support member extending from the arm member, the wheel support member extending substantially parallel to the main body, a wheel attached to the wheel support member on a surface facing the main body, and a depth adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a depth of the device by adjusting a length of the arm member. The device also includes a width adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a width of a gap between the wheel support members and a loop member attached to the main body.
