Safety-harness attachment
A safety-harness attachment for attaching a safety harness thereto.
Portable Truss Cable Roofing Safety Apparatus and Method
A portable truss cable roofing safety apparatus and method to assist users while working on the roof of a building structure. The portable apparatus provides a pair of similar opposing vertical trusses mounted adjacent opposite sides of the building structure. At least one brace is adaptable for securing each of the pair of vertical trusses to the building structure. A cable is connected to and extends between the pair of vertical trusses. An automatic belay device slidably is connected to the cable and has a safety line connected thereto, wherein the automatic belay device adjusts a length of the safety line to assist the user when the user is connected to the safety line.
PROOFING FALL SAFETY SYSTEM
An apparatus and method for supporting at least one article on a roof. The system comprises a central body extending along an axis having a top surface, a pair of legs extending away from the axis of from the central body and a passage extending through the central body parallel to the axis. The method comprises adjusting the angle of the pair of legs to correspond to the slope of the roof and positioning the central body above a ridge with a tensile member passing through a bore therein.
Safety post
A safety device for securing a person to a floor panel of a shuttering system. A base element secures a safety post. The base element can be placed on a floor panel of a shuttering system. The safety post has a personal safety element, to which the person can be selectively secured. A securing mechanism has a securing carrier, on which at least one engaging element is arranged, wherein the securing carrier is coupled to the base element. The engaging element can be adjusted into a securing position and a release position, wherein the engaging element can be engaged with the shuttering system in the securing position in order to fix the base element to the floor panel, and wherein the engaging element can be decoupled from the shuttering system in the release position in order to decouple the base element from the floor panel.
Balance mobile anchor cart
An anchor cart assembly can include a cart including a frame defining at least one front foot and at least one rear foot, the at least one front foot and the at least one rear foot defining a bottom plane of the frame; and an axle assembly mounted to the frame, the axle assembly being repositionable relative to the frame between a raised position and a lowered position, the axle assembly positioned above the bottom plane in the raised position, at least a portion of the axle assembly positioned below the bottom plane in the lowered position; and a load supported by the cart.
Fall protection device
A fall protection device for a user working on horizontal surfaces in construction sites, which can adopt two end positions: an operating protection position and a non-operating storage position. The device has a mast releasably couplable at the lower end to a fixed element of the construction with the possibility of pivoting on its own vertical shaft; an arm at a first end of an articulated joint articulated with the end of the upper portion of the mast, the second end thereof being free and the arm configured to receive in an area of the second end the coupling of fastening and attachment for the user; a strut with a first end articulately joined to the arm and with a second end to be fastened on a point of the upper portion of the mast under the end of the upper portion where the mast is articulated with the arm.
STRUCTURAL POST FOR FALL ARREST AND ROPE ACCESS
A structural post for fall arrest and rope access has a baseplate having baseplate fixing holes. A vertical mast is attached to an upper surface of the baseplate, and a main attachment plate comprising main attachment plate fixing holes is affixed to an upper end of the mast. The structural post may be mounted to concrete floor garden landscapes, steel structures and the like on high-rise buildings, for fall arrest and rope access, and which facilitates versatility and adaptability for various locations and applications, for construction, beside cleaning and other building and maintenance activities.
RECOVERY DEVICE
A recovery device (100, 200) for persons positioned above the ground, and a system (400) and method (300) including the recovery device (100, 200). The recovery device (100, 200) includes an expandable base portion (110, 210), and a person receiving portion (120, 220) configured to receive a person when the expandable base portion (110, 210) is expanded.
SAFETY CLIMB ATTENUATION APPARATUS
A safety climb attenuation apparatus provides a more robust and visually inspectable apparatus for climbing safety. In an upper bracket, a pivot arm is attached to a base that is disposed upon a structure. The upper bracket includes an attenuation member such as an elastic bushing, mounted on the pivot arm or the base, that resists pivoting of the pivot arm relative to the base when a safety cable attached to the pivot arm causes the pivot arm to pivot. In a lower bracket, a similar attenuation member is attached to a base disposed on the structure, with an anchor bolt connecting the cable to the attenuation member so that the attenuation member resists upward movement of the cable.
