ROOF PLUG
A roof plug is provided that includes a plug member and a tray member. The tray member includes a recessed portion and a flange portion and is made of a rigid material. The recessed portion includes a base, has at least one opening disposed therein, and has a plurality of side walls each extending upwardly from the base to the flange portion. The flange portion is also oriented outward from a top edge of the plurality of side walls of the recessed portion. The plug member fits into the recessed portion of the tray member. At least one opening in the base provides visual inspection of the plug member when located in the recessed portion. The product serves to plug a hole left behind by a static roof vent when converting to other methods of roof ventilation. Generally, the product can be used to fill any holes in the roof deck sized 88 or 1212.
Roof inspection and repair device
A roof inspection and repair device is disclosed that can be wheeled along a roof to identify loose shingles and dispense the sealant necessary to secure them in place. The roof inspection and repair device has both a blowing system and a sealant dispensing system. The blowing system may include an air tube having an air tube inlet that can be connected to a blower and an air tube outlet. The sealant dispensing system may include one or more sealant storage containers connected to a sealant dispenser by one or more sealant tubes. The roof inspection and repair device may further include a shingle lift mechanism.
See through plastic roofing paper system
This embodiment specifically pertains to the field of roofing to find roof leaks or problems fast and easy. This idea and components can find the exact location of a leak in a matter of seconds by simply looking through the paper. See-through paper can turn a do-it-yourselfer into a professional instantly to find leaks from water, gas, or related roofing problems or any roof; flat or pitched. This two layer system, plastic (clear) (FIG. 1) and blotter-paper (FIG. 2), allows leaks to finally be seen as they happen and will stop them in their tracks. Optionally wireless pressure sensitive pads (FIG. 3) alerts owners of buildings or authorities to IPhones or laptop computers of fires, sparks, or intruders. A repair kit (FIG. 4) allows amateurs or professionals to seal and repair roof leaks. Kit includes caulking, clear adhesive, 2 hand rollers, and one pointy trowel.
INTEGRAL NAIL/DISK STRUCTURE FOR ELIMINATING EXPOSED ROOF NAILS
An integral one-piece nail/disk structure which eliminates the need of having any exposed nails associated with a shingled roof, the nail/disk structure including a body member having a roofing nail incorporated or encapsulated therewithin and having color granules associated with at least a portion of the top surface of the body member. The nail/disk structure may include a sealant covering at least a portion of the bottom surface of the body member. The roofing nail is integrally formed with the body member.
Roof plug

The recessed portion includes a base, has at least one opening disposed therein, and has a plurality of side walls each extending upwardly from the base to the flange portion. The flange portion is also oriented outward from a top edge of the plurality of side walls of the recessed portion. The plug member fits into the recessed portion of the tray member. At least one opening in the base provides visual inspection of the plug member when located in the recessed portion. The product serves to plug a hole left behind by a static roof vent when converting to other methods of roof ventilation. Generally, the product can be used to fill any holes in the roof deck sized 88 or 1212.
COATED PAPERBOARD FOR TEMPORARY ROOF PATCH
A coated paperboard having a top ply, intermediate plies, and base ply all of which are laminated to one another with a moisture resistant adhesive wherein two respective outside top and base plies are coated with a water or moisture resistant coating so that the coated paperboard is capable of being used as a temporary roofing patch for a damaged roof.
REINFORCEMENT DEVICE FOR CORRECTING THE ALIGNMENT OF WOK EAR RAMMED EARTH WALLS
A reinforcement device for correcting alignment of a wok ear rammed earth wall includes: a wok ear reinforcing structure including a strip-shaped fixing plate, of which side fixing plates are spaced apart on each of both sides, and an end of each of the side fixing plates is provided with a first connecting ring; a rammed earth wall reinforcing structure including triangular fixing frames, side leg support columns, and a main support column. The triangular fixing frames on both sides of the wok ear respectively extend to form L-shaped connecting bars symmetric to each other, the ends are correspondingly welded together to form a surrounding integral structure. A second connecting rings and the first connecting rings are welded by rigid connecting plates. The original appearance of the wok ear rammed earth wall can be ensured with less destruction, improvements of structural strength, stability, and anti-falling ability.
ROOF LEAK REMEDIATION LEAVING IN PLACE SATURATED MATERIAL
Roof-on-roof methods of leak remediation leave in place existing roof membrane material and saturated material (e.g., insulation). An example leak-remediated roof includes a layer of saturated insulation over a roof deck. A membrane over the insulation has one or more failures that have permitted the insulation to become saturated. A grid of cuts is made through the membrane and the insulation down to the roof deck. A mechanical vent is placed over a cut of the grid A strip of mesh vent is installed over a cut of the grid. The strip of mesh vent is coupled in airflow communication with an underside inlet or a lateral inlet of the mechanical vent. A non-liquid sealer, such as tape or covering membrane, seals over the strip of mesh vent. A liquid roof coating is applied over an entire surface of a treated portion of the roof, including over the non-liquid sealer.
Roof repair drone
An aerial drone for repairing holes or punctures in a membrane on a roof, characterized in that the aerial drone comprises at least one camera for recording a section of the membrane, an applicator adapted to apply material onto the section of the membrane, wherein the applicator is controllable wirelessly from a different altitude and/or the ground.
Methods of replacing compromised composite-strength concrete roofs
Retrofitting a horizontal building roof having a pre-existing, composite-strength concrete roof having a corrugated steel deck with concrete poured over the deck top. Replacing the pre-existing roof with a dry-installed composite-strength roof having a rigid sheet installed over a corrugated steel deck, the rigid sheet attached to the deck by mechanical fasteners extending through the rigid sheet and the upper ribs of the corrugated deck. The newly installed roof restrains the upper ribs against lateral distortion under loading, thus forcing the corrugated deck to maintain shape and operate to composite capacities in excess of predictable flexural load capabilities of its components considered alone.
