Process for treating keratin substances using a composition comprising a modified photo-dimerizable polymer
The present invention relates to a general process for treating keratin substances, preferably keratin fibres, comprising the following steps: c) applying to the keratin substances a composition comprising at least one photo-crosslinkable polymer including at least one photo-dimerizable pendant group and at least one hydrophobic pendant group, and d) irradiating said composition on the keratin substances to crosslink the polymer.
HYBRID NAIL COATING SYSTEMS AD METHODS OF THEIR USE
Novel liquid and powder compositions for mammalian nails, systems comprising the compositions, and methods of their use are disclosed. The novel compositions are useful, inter alia, for providing liquid/powder, “acrylic” type nail enhancements.
TRANSPARENT BOTTLE WITH UV COATING FOR UV NAIL GEL COMPOSITIONS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A UV nail gel and clear bottle system and method for protecting the ultraviolet (UV) nail gel formulation from curing or gelling while providing visibility of the UV nail gel formula. The system includes one or more layer of a transparent UV blocking treatment located on an exterior surface of the clear bottle comprising one or more UV absorber having an intramolecular hydrogen bond and absorption wavelengths ranging from 100 nanometers to 380 nanometers, paired with a UV nail gel formula comprising a lower curing photoinitiator having an absorption wavelength≤330 nm. The one or more layer of the transparent UV blocking treatment and UV nail gel formula with the lower curing photoinitiator protects the UV nail gel formulation from curing or gelling while providing visibility of the UV nail gel formula.
MULTI-PHASE ORAL COMPOSITION
A multi-phase oral composition for whitening teeth.
Compositions and methods for stimulating hair growth
Methods and compositions for stimulating hair growth are disclosed. Compositions for stimulating hair growth include two or more of hyaluronic acid, osteopontin, and another CD44 binding ligand. Methods for stimulating hair growth include administering such composition into the skin of a patient.
Biophotonic compositions and methods for providing biophotonic treatment
The present disclosure provides biophotonic topical compositions and methods useful in phototherapy. In particular, the biophotonic topical compositions of the present disclosure are substantially resistant to leaching such that very low amounts of chromophore(s) present in the biophotonic composition leach out of the composition. The biophotonic compositions and the methods of the present disclosure are useful for promoting wound healing and skin rejuvenation, as well as treating acne and various skin disorders.
Method and system for selective hair brightening
A system, computer readable medium and method for selective brightening of hair, the method may include or may be preceded by applying at least one photosensitive material to the hair. The method may also include forming at least one pattern of brightened hair by illuminating the hair by at least one pattern of illumination.
Laser assisted wound healing protocol and system
A method of treating gum disease while healing the wound in the periodontium using a soft tissue diode laser which generates a beam of light having a wavelength in the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum (400 nm-700 nm) at a laser power of 0.001 to 1.2 watts, used with intermittent stops to control tissue temperature and biostimulate the periodontium to regenerate and heal its wound when used with substrates, the method comprising: placing the tip of the laser inside the sulcus; penetrating the entire sulcus by moving the laser light circumferentially around the tooth vertically and horizontally throughout the sulcus with intermittent stops to control tissue temperature and placing substrates in the sulcus prior to blood clot formation; followed by RF treatment of the sulcus by placing the RF headpiece tips perpendicular to the sulcus to receive RF current which further penetrates the wound site.
DENTAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING ION SUSTAINED-RELEASE GLASS
To provide a dental composition wherein the acid buffering capacity can be attained and the acid resistance of the tooth substance can be improved while maintaining very high foul breath inhibition capacity. A dental composition including: ion sustained-release glass; and a carrier for supporting the ion sustained-release glass, wherein the ion sustained-release glass is fluoroaluminoborosilicate glass having a composition range of: 15% to 35% by mass SiO.sub.2; 15% to 30% by mass Al.sub.2O.sub.3; 5% to 20% by mass B.sub.2O.sub.3; 20% to 45% by mass SrO; 5% to 15% by mass F; and 0% to 10% by mass Na.sub.2O.
