Demolition tool
Demolition tools are presented including: a handle having a proximal end and a distal end, where the handle includes a reinforcing gusset mechanically coupled with the prying head, and where the handle further includes at least three bends along a handle length; a prying head disposed along the distal end of the handle, the prying head including at least two tines mechanically coupled with a cross frame; and a striking head mechanically coupled with and disposed along at least one end of the cross frame.
Fulcrum pry bar
A fulcrum prybar includes a shaft portion extending along a first axis, a curved prying portion affixed to a first end of the shaft portion, and a fulcrum portion affixed to the curved prying portion. The fulcrum portion includes two rectangular portions fused together to form an obtuse angle or a right angle cross section. One of the two rectangular portions is oriented such that it is flush with a horizontal surface while the prybar has partially raised an object from the same or another horizontal surface.
Demolition tool
A demolition tool particularly adapted to aid in board removal. The tool includes a handle and a head. The head has outer forwardly extending arms and a central fastener puller. The central fastener puller is aligned with the handle so that undesired lateral torques are minimized on the handle during fastener removal. The central fastener puller may be formed on a central boss disposed between the two outer arms. The central boss advantageously includes a convexly curved lower surface that provides a central pry surface for the tool. The head may be selectively positionable relative to the handle, such as via a push-button locking pivot connection.
Drywall removal tool
The drywall removal tool is a hand operated tool that assists in the removal of drywall from a wall or ceiling. The tool comprises a wrecker plate that slides through a slot punched in the drywall to a position behind the drywall, a connecting plate that couples the wrecker plate to the handle plate, a handle plate that is a plate located in front of the drywall, a handle coupled to the handle plate, and a hammer that may be moved to produce an impulse of force to break the drywall free of obstructions and fasteners. The slot that the wrecker plate passes through may be made by striking the drywall with a slot maker located on the top of the connecting plate.
Drywall punch
The drywall punch, a drywall removal device, is a handheld tool used to punch through drywall by being positioned over each drywall fastener to penetrate through the drywall sheet surface and crush the drywall sheet material beneath detaching the drywall from the fastener and from the underlying supporting structure.
PRY BAR HANDLE
A pry bar has a transversely disposed generally triangular cross-section handle grip portion having surfaces formed of a soft elastomeric over-molded material. The handle is formed with an inner hard thermoplastic core and molded over outer elastomeric cover. A metal tether receiving element and impact cap are fixedly secured at the handle proximate end.
ADJUSTABLE DECKING AND PLANK REMOVAL TOOL WITH VIBRATORY-ASSIST
A versatile lever-type decking and plank removal tool for more efficiently prying floor-boards from deck foundations and floor-joists to which they are nailed. The decking and plank removal tool uses an adjustable demolition head having an offset inverted hook to tear off any deck board in any configuration in seconds with a minimum of effort, allowing the user to remain completely upright for the entire process. An optional vibratory-assist module is also disclosed.
Detachment device and material detachment process
A detachment device especially of use as a material detachment device for detaching installed drywall is described. The detachment device has a material-engagement portion and a handle portion. The material-engagement portion has a beveled free end. The handle portion has a handle free end, is engaged with the material-engagement portion, and is transverse to the material-engagement portion. The material-engagement portion and the handle portion are shaped and configured to wholly or partly detach either or both installed material (such as drywall) and one or more attachment members (such as nails, screws, or dabs or beads of glue). A material detachment process especially of use as a drywall detachment process is also described which includes two analogous steps preceded by accessing (a) the installed material and (b) the one or more structural members (such as studs) to which the installed material is attached by one or more attachment members.
