The portable structure will generally have a pod from which a suite frame and suite may be deployed. The suite will allow personnel to administer to many critical demands and activities. The portable structure may be deployed upon any terrain, whether level or uneven, rigid or soft, and both the pod and the suite may be leveled independently. Additionally, the portable structure may incorporate at least one cocoon section wherein the cocoon section comprises at least one interior layer contacting a mesh covering placed over the suite frame, at least one thermal layer affixed to the interior layer, wherein the thermal layer includes heat adding and heat removal members capable of removing or adding heat to the mesh covering or a substance adjacent the at least one thermal layer and at least one exterior layer affixed to the thermal layer.

A device system for military and/or humanitarian operations, in particular a mobile decontamination system, comprises a plurality of power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies, which together determine a functional scope of the device system. The power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies are mounted on a base plate by means of a retaining structure, said base plate having a defined placement surface and anchoring elements. The anchoring elements enable detachable anchoring of the base plate together with the retaining structure to a transport means, in particular to a transport vehicle. The retaining structure is formed from a plurality of self-supporting, structurally identical, cuboid-shaped frames, which are arranged next to each other and/or on top of each other and are fastened to the base plate. The frames each have eight corner pieces and twelve edge profile elements, which together enclose a defined storage volume. The power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies are arranged in the defined storage volumes and, preferably, at least the majority of the power-operated units and operating supplies are retained in the frames even during operation of the device system.

A method and a connector unit for connecting two or more structures wherein at least one of the two or more structures being connected is a mobile structure validatable for pharmaceutical manufacturing or patient care. The connector unit comprises of an alignment system, a sealing, and a fixation system. The method for using the connector unit comprises of aligning the two or more structures to dock the two or more structures together, sealing the two or more structures, or one or more structures and an environment air tight with a seal or a sealing system, and affixing the two or more structures together to prevent relative movement of the two or more structures, or breakage of the seal or seal system.

A containment booth assembly includes a floor, a plurality of vertical sidewalls, and a plurality of sliding panels corresponding to each of the vertical sidewalls. A relocatable, easily movable worksite sanitation system that is a combination decontamination station and lavatory with two separate rooms suitable for complying with ADA and safety regulations that is continuously automatically electrically checked and verified to be in proper working order. The sanitation system has a water source and a power source, and the sanitation system includes an improved flush-type lavatory comprising at least a toilet and a sink with a lavatory water supply line providing water to said toilet and said sink. Both the lavatory and the decontamination rooms include an electrical system with a switch for turning the electrical system on and off. The decontamination station has at least an eye wash station and a shower with a decontamination water supply line providing water to said eye wash station and to said shower. The self-checking power system is included in the decontamination station electrical system with a decontamination station switch having an on position, wherein said on position provides power to said decontamination station electrical system. Further, a valve is adapted to receive water from said water source that actuates the decontamination station switch between providing water to said lavatory water supply line and said decontamination water supply line. The valve provides water to the decontamination water supply line when the decontamination station switch is in its on position.

A decontamination facility for personnel and personal protective equipment (PPE) is disclosed. The decontamination facility comprises shipping containers that includes: decontamination and laundering equipment, one or more personnel showers, doors, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, a hot water heater, and a riser system. The doors are sized to allow the decontamination and laundering equipment to pass through easily. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system is configured to provide a clean, climate-controlled, atmosphere inside the container. A riser system can be attached to the bottom of one or more corner supports to create a crawl space beneath the container, and the crawl space houses a wastewater collection and removal system, a tank, and an ejector pump to push wastewater to a sewer or septic system.
