ACCESS NODE AND METHOD
An all-encompassing fully integrated communication Access Node for call stations and other security and communications equipment includes a modular housing within which is mounted wire and wireless communication systems and power systems. The housing has a chassis for mounting the electronics and battery modules and a backbox and panel for staged installations, managing cables and providing heat dissipation. A door to the chassis is secured using latch hooks with roller bearings. Optical cable termination is provided as a two sided patch panel. Dual power supplies provide power to internal components and to external components via a distribution module. Backup power is provided by a custom battery backup with a charging controller. Cooling is controlled by dual fans and a fan controller moving air through the housing using openings and baffles. Freestanding pedestal mounting of the Access Node and various other mounts for column, wall, or ceiling to any substrate or condition is an option. Venting through a plug prevents pressure build up.
Portable vocal booth
The invention relates to a portable vocal booth (1) comprising a hood (2) that comprises a top (3), side walls (6), a front wall (4) and a rear portion (5) and is adapted to freely enclose a singer's head. The hood (2) comprises a rear part (R), which is intended to accommodate the singer's head and is open forwards and downwards and otherwise limited by the top (3), the side walls (6) and the rear portion (5), and a front part (F), which is intended to be in front of the singer's head and at the back is open towards the rear part (R) and is otherwise limited by the top (3), the side walls (6), the front wall (4) and a bottom wall (8), wherein a sound absorbing insert (16) is provided in the front part (F) inside the front wall (4). In the front part (F) between the sound absorbing insert (16) and the rear part (R) of the hood (2) a partition wall (17) of a sound absorbing material is arranged, and between the sound absorbing insert (16) and the partition wall (17) a gap (18) is provided.

Mobile terminal booth, masking system and masking sound generation method with sound masking function
A mobile terminal booth with a sound masking function includes a sound absorbing panel which partitions a space as viewed from the above to provide a place where a user of a mobile terminal can have a telephone conversation; a speaker provided to emit sounds to an outside of the mobile terminal booth; and a masking sound generation unit provided to emit a masking sound through the speaker. The harsh-sounding high frequency components of the masking sound are attenuated so that the masking sound gives less uncomfortable feeling to persons surrounding the mobile terminal booth. This masking sound is generated by attenuating a high frequency component of a raw sound material including a natural sound.
