Stable redox compositions and methods of use
Described herein are compositions that include a saline solution and reactive oxygen species. Specifically, the composition may include a saline solution, reactive oxygen species, an emollient, and a pH modifier. Also provided is a gel composition that includes a rheology agent. Also provided are methods of making and using the compositions.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING COATING
Provided is a method for forming a coating comprising fibers having an excellent adhesivity to the skin, comprising directly electrostatically spraying on the skin.
A method for producing a coating comprising fibers on the surface of skin or nail, comprising directly electrostatically spraying onto human skin or nail, composition A comprising the following components (a), (b) and (c):
(a) one or more volatile substances selected from the group consisting of an alcohol and a ketone,
(b) a water-insoluble polymer for fiber formation,
(c) 0.2 mass % or more and 25 mass % or less of water; wherein the mass ratio of component (b) to component (c), ((b)/(c)) is of 0.4 or more and 50 or less.
COMPOSITION DERIVED FROM SEAWATER, METHOD FOR OBTAINING SAME AND USE THEREOF IN COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
A composition derived from seawater enriched in magnesium and depleted in potassium, the method for preparing the composition and its use as a moisturising and/or soothing cosmetic agent. A cosmetic composition includes the composition derived from seawater and a cosmetic treatment method includes the topical application of the composition.
METHOD FOR TREATING SKIN
The present invention relates to a method for treating skin, comprising the following step A) and then step B): A) physically or chemically treating an epidermis of the skin; and B) forming a film containing a fiber deposit on the skin which has been subjected to the step A). When the above step B) is applied to the skin after the conventional step A), skin conditions such as inflammation, redness, and swelling caused by the step A) are alleviated, these conditions disappear more quickly, and the quality of life (QOL) of persons who have undergone the cosmetic or dermatological treatment is significantly improved.
Systems, devices and methods for styling hair
Devices and methods for styling hair, and in particular, to devices and methods for styling hair using electrolysis are described herein. A method for styling hair includes arranging a section of hair between a first electrode and a second electrode. The section of hair is contacted with an electrolyte before being arranged between the first and second electrodes, after being arranged between the first and second electrodes, and/or concurrently with being arranged between the first and second electrodes. The method further includes causing the first electrode to have a first negative potential, and causing the second electrode to have a second potential, such that the absolute value of the first negative potential is greater than the absolute value of the second potential, and such that the difference in electrical potential between the first electrode and the second electrode creates an electrolysis zone between the first electrode and the second electrode.
ELECTROSPINNING APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A portable, hand-held electrospinning or electrospraying apparatus and system, method, and portions thereof, comprised of a durable portion of the hand-held apparatus and a consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus. The consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus, which may contain the solution to be output in electrospin or electrospray fashion, may be replaced in whole or in part to provide additional or alternative solution. A base station may be provided, and can output high voltage and communication signals to the hand-held apparatus to enable the electrospin or electrospray operation by the hand-held apparatus.
Skin treatment system
A skin regeneration therapy combining precise bioelectric signals, light, and biologics for skin treatment and regeneration. Precise bioelectric signals give clear instructions to the stimulated cell DNA/RNA to produce specific regenerative proteins on demand. Bioelectric signals give clear instructions to cell membranes on what to let in and what to let out and serve as an equivalent or surrogate of environmental stimuli to cause a cell action in response.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING LIQUID-PHASE PLASMA CAPABLE OF BEING STORED FOR LONG PERIOD OF TIME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT FOR SKIN REGENERATION OR WHITENING
A composition including long-term storable plasma-activated liquid (liquid plasma) as an active ingredient is disclosed. The long-term storable, atmospheric-pressure, plasma-activated liquid is prepared by dissolving a plasma generated using a low-temperature microplasma jet in a solution. The plasma-activated liquid not only exhibits a cancer cell killing effect at a level similar to gas-phase plasma according to a conventional art, but also maintains the cancer cell killing effect even when the plasma-activated liquid is stored in a freezer or in a cold chamber for 6 months, and thus is suitable for long-term storage. The plasma-activated liquid may be effectively used in the biopharmaceutical field, for example for a skin regeneration, wound-healing of dermal cells, and/or treating a cancer.
Kit and method for topical delivery of benefits
A system for delivering energy to an isolated part of a mammalian body includes an electrically powered patch and a self-supporting adhesive film. The patch has a major surface and comprises a matrix of at least one flexible, biocompatible material which is capable of conforming to the isolated body part. The self-supporting adhesive film has a first non-tacky surface arranged and configured for releasable attachment to the patch and a second tacky surface, opposite the first surface, for adhesive attachment to the isolated body part. The releasable attachment between the self-supporting adhesive film and the electrically powered patch has a lower strength than the adhesive attachment between the film and the isolated body part. Thus, during use the electrically powered patch is removable from the self-supporting adhesive film while leaving the self-supporting adhesive film adhered to the isolated body part.
