The present invention relates to arenas with selectively configurable seating arrangements for selectively providing viewing access to an event floor from an event level hospitality area. The arena includes a plurality of seats, at least some of which are removable. The plurality of seats is selectively arrangeable in tiered seating sections around the event floor to define one of a first seating arrangement and a second seating arrangement. The tiered seating sections include first and second opposing curved seating sections, and first and second spaced apart straight seating sections. The first straight seating section is located in front of the hospitality area. When the seats are selectively arranged in the first seating arrangement, the first and second straight seating sections are disposed generally parallel to each other and extend between the first and second curved seating sections so as to define an obround distribution of seats around the event floor; and viewing access of the event floor from the hospitality area is impeded by the first straight seating section. When the seats are selectively arranged in the second seating arrangement, the first straight seating section and the first curved seating section are omitted leaving the second straight seating section extending to the second curved seating section; and viewing access of the event floor from the hospitality area is unobstructed.

A collapsible mobile stage may be folded into a configuration and the shape of a trailer that may be hauled by a truck. The collapsible mobile stage includes an elevated framework supported by telescoping columns. The elevated framework may be used to support lighting, audio and visual systems. The mobile stage also provides seating for an audience on either side of a central stage supported by a platform. The platform includes a central segment between two opposing lateral segments. The lateral segments may be folded up to form the sides of a trailer while the central segment forms the bottom of the trailer. Audience seating sections may be folded over the platform segments to create the roof of the trailer. Audience seating as well as the elevated framework may be stored within the trailer or within a secondary trailer.

A building system comprising a plurality of tubes, a plurality of connection nodes comprising tubular sections for connection to the tubes, wherein the tubes are arranged to connect between the connection nodes to form a frame for a building, wherein at least one continuous cavity is formed through at least a portion of the nodes and tubes when the nodes and tubes are connected, the building system further comprising fluid tight seals between the tubes and connection nodes to enable fluid to flow through the at least one continuous cavity.

A seating system according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a riser including a tiltable deck. Another seating system according to the present disclosure includes, among other things, a drive system for moving a riser. The drive system includes a sprocket configured to engage a belt.

An arena apparatus for staging a sport with at least one athlete is provided. The arena apparatus includes a floor having a perimeter; and at least one wall at the perimeter and extending upwardly and outwardly from the floor at an angle greater than or equal to fifteen degrees measured from an axis perpendicular to the floor, wherein the angle of the wall prevents the athlete from standing on the wall.

An arena apparatus for staging a sport with at least one athlete is provided. An urban transformation and construction method is disclosed that creates a tropical style swimming lagoon at vacant and/or abandoned sites. The transformation includes demolishing at least part of the vacant or abandoned site, excavating material from within the site; forming a basin for a large water body having a surface area of at least 3,000 m2, and constructing water containment walls on a first section of the basin to form a waterfront perimeter. The shape of the waterfront perimeter is mainly curved, the basin has a maximum width of 300 meters, and the bottom is covered with a non-permeable material. A sloped access area is constructed in a second section of the basin to form a beach. A barrier is constructed to control access into the area including the beach. At least one recreational facility is constructed including restaurants, bars, kiosks, stores, and/or cafes about the waterfront perimeter.

An urban transformation and construction method is disclosed that creates a tropical style swimming lagoon at vacant and/or abandoned sites. The present invention relates to a multi-sport center and more specifically, a multi-sport center having sectors used for various sport games and a passage separating the sectors, wherein each sector includes courts formed according to court standards of sports whose courts are inter-compatible to each other, and the adjacent courts are inter-compatible, thereby increasing efficiency of a sport center. The center further comprises more than one cooling and heating booth installed at one side of each sector, thereby helping players in each court to take breaks. In addition, the center further comprises cantilevers that is installed on an inner wall at the second to the fourth floor level and that can look down the first floor, wherein a café, a snack bar, a media room, an electronic game room, a go game room, and jogging track, instead of stands, are installed on the cantilevers.
