Bi-directional device and methods of its use
This presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a bi-directional toy configured to be used as a trampoline and further to be used, upon turning said bi-directional toy upside down, in at least one of the following functions: a playpen-like device, a water pool, and a sphere pool. The toy comprises at least a frame with a plurality of legs configured to elevate the trampoline from a base surface; a bounce mat configured to allow usage of the toy as a trampoline; and the encircling member configured to be attached to the legs for creating a delimited area for use in at least one of the functions.
DRAIN PLUG FOR AN ABOVE-GROUND POOL
An improved drain for an above-ground pool is disclosed. A variety of above-ground pool types are considered. Above-ground pools must be drained after use before being stored in a lengthy and time-consuming process. The improved drain can advantageously remain open during the draining process allowing for improved drainage. The drain can comprise a plug member and a locking member. The plug member can be configured to attach to the locking member when open. This and other embodiments are disclosed herein.
JOINT FOR ABOVE GROUND POOL FRAME
A frame pool is disclosed including a frame assembly and a pool liner, the frame assembly including horizontal frame members and a vertical frame member coupled together via a T-shaped joint. The T-shaped joint may be constructed of plastic to facilitate attachment and detachment to the adjacent frame members and to resist galling and corrosion. The T-shaped joint may also be relatively small to improve the appearance and water containment of the frame pool.
Pool systems and methods for making and using same
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved pool. Embodiments of the present disclosure also provide a method of making an improved pool. The pool can comprise an unitary sidewall joined to a floor portion. The unitary sidewall can be constructed from one piece of material, and can have fewer seams than traditional pools, thereby reducing the likelihood that that pool will rupture and leak. In some embodiments, since the pool has fewer seams than traditional pools, fewer manufacturing steps are required to make the pool. This can increase manufacturing speed and decrease cost.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL FRAME POOL
A multifunctional frame pool includes a foldable water inner container; a frame assembly arranged at a periphery of the water inner container and configured to support the water inner container; a platform arranged on an upper edge of the water inner container; and a tent including tent cloth and tent frames. The tent cloth is arranged above the water inner container via the tent frames. Each of the tent frames has a bottom end arranged on the frame assembly or platform, and a top end in contact with the tent cloth. At least two tow assemblies are arranged on the tent cloth. Each of the tow assemblies has one end connected to the tent cloth, and the other end that is movable to change an angle formed by the tent cloth between a tow point and the corresponding tent frame, and the ground.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POOL BEAMS
Disclosed are embodiments of a frame for a pool that may be installed as a series of beams and frame members, wherein a first beam and a second beam may be configured to connect to a frame member to form a portion of the frame of the pool, wherein the first beam and the second beam may include provisions for attaching to the frame member, wherein the orientation of the first beam may be set relative to the second beam so that a circumference of a pool is formed when the series of beams and frame members are each connected. In some embodiments, the frame member may include a receptacle, an insert, and a pin. In some embodiments, the receptacle may include a first protrusion portion for a first beam and a second protrusion portion for a second beam. In some embodiments, one or more pins may be used to attach the beams to the insert and the receptacle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A CONTAINER WITH PORTHOLES
Disclosed is a container, such as an above-ground pool, with an improved porthole. The container can include a base, a side wall joined to the base, and at least one porthole. The porthole can comprise an aperture in the side wall and a generally transparent window sheet attached to the side wall and completely covering the aperture in the side wall. Such a design can be stronger and more durable than conventional portholes. The pool can also have portability and storability characteristics that are superior to those of conventional pools.
Sheathed frame pool
A sheathed frame includes a support frame comprised of a plurality of interconnected support components, a pool liner comprising a pool bottom and a pool wall connected to an outer edge of the pool bottom and extending upward, an upper edge of said pool wall hanging on said support frame and disposed on an inside of said support frame, and at least one sheath disposed on a junction between at least two of said plurality of interconnected support components. Sheaths are respectively provided at the junction of a horizontal side pipe and a T-shaped pipe joint of the frame pool and the junction of a support pipe and the T-shaped pipe joint.
