Above-Ground Pool Assembly Apparatus
An above-ground pool wall assembly apparatus is disclosed which allows the single handed mounting of the pool wall along the pool wall bottom rail. The rolled up pool wall is mounted on a turntable and kept upright by a plurality of retainer posts. As the wall is unreeled a series of guide posts help separate the unreeled portion of the wall from the roll and guide the wall into position on the bottom rail. As the pool wall is progressively mounted along the bottom rail, the apparatus can be kept in the proper position by wheeling the apparatus around the bottom rail in coordination with the progress of the installation.
Systems and methods for a container with portholes
Disclosed is a container, such as an above-ground pool, with an improved porthole. The container can include a base, a side wall joined to the base, and at least one porthole. The porthole can comprise an aperture in the side wall and a generally transparent window sheet attached to the side wall and completely covering the aperture in the side wall. Such a design can be stronger and more durable than conventional portholes. The pool can also have portability and storability characteristics that are superior to those of conventional pools.
Non-permanent whitewater water course
The invention relates to a white-water river, comprising a river bed capable of guiding a current of water between an upper inlet of the bed and a lower outlet of the bed, and including water-feeding means for injecting a stream of water at the upper inlet of the bed. The river bed is made up of a series of individual bed modules, adjacent to one another, and assembled via respective transverse contact surfaces. The individual bed modules are supported via a lower surface by a modular lattice bearing structure.
Beach entry fiberglass pool body
A fiberglass swimming pool system, including a fiberglass swimming poll body defining an interior volume for holding water and positioned in an excavation, a fiberglass flange operationally connected to the fiberglass swimming pool body, a fiberglass lip extending from the flange away from the fiberglass swimming pool body, an elongated fiberglass riser wall extending perpendicularly from the flange, a fiberglass ramp extending from the elongated fiberglass riser wall into the interior volume, and a deck extending over the lip and operationally connected to the fiberglass ramp at the riser wall. The fiberglass ramp has an angle of decline of between one and fifteen degrees.
Portable kiddie pool
A portable kiddie pool includes a main basin including a floor and a perimeter wall defining a perimeter of the pool, the floor including a radial groove that extends towards the perimeter of the pool, a fountain basin disposed above the floor within a perimeter of the perimeter wall, the fountain basin including at least one fountain opening, and tubing that extends at a first end from the perimeter of the pool through the radial groove of the floor to a second end that operably connects to the at least one fountain opening of the fountain basin, the tubing including a fitting configured to connect to a pressurized water source such that water from the pressurized water source flows from the pressurized water source through the tubing and to the fountain opening of the fountain basin.
Curvilinear spa
Among other things, a spa includes a spa shell and a water feature disposed on the spa shell. The water feature includes a ridge disposed in an interior area of the spa shell and having a top disposed near a water line of the spa shell. The water feature also includes a water inlet disposed adjacent to the ridge opposite a main body of water area in the interior area of the spa shell, the water inlet being placed lower than the top of the ridge. In addition; the water feature includes a slope descending from the top of the ridge in the direction of the water inlet, the slope having a patterned top surface configured to interact with water flowing over the ridge, down the slope and toward the water inlet.
Liquid containment pool wall using polymer sheeting
A liquid containment vessel or pool having a wall constructed of thermoplastic polymers. Most pool walls are manufactured from steel or aluminum which are prone to deformation and corrosion. Polymer sheets or banding can be used to replace customary pool walls, offering a tough, strong, lightweight, corrosion resistant and easily installed material that can be manufactured from recycled plastics. When oriented, laminated, woven, corrugated, or layered, the strength of the polymer sheeting or banding increases further, allowing the present invention to be adapted for use in a variety of applications.
BEACH ENTRY FIBERGLASS POOL SYSTEM
A fiberglass swimming pool system, including a fiberglass swimming pool body defining an interior volume for holding water and positioned in an excavation, a fiberglass flange operationally connected to the fiberglass swimming pool body, a fiberglass lip extending from the flange away from the fiberglass swimming pool body, a truncated fiberglass top wall extending perpendicularly from the flange, a fiberglass ramp extending from the elongated fiberglass riser wall into the interior volume, and a deck extending over the lip and operationally connected to the fiberglass ramp at the top wall. The fiberglass ramp has an angle of decline of between one and fifteen degrees.
