DUAL POOL SAFETY COVER WITH PROTECTION PROTOCOL
A pool double safety cover with at least one protection protocol includes a first cover that is substantially impermeable to water, and a second cover that is substantially permeable to water. A track system having independent parallel tracks is provided for guiding the first cover and the second cover to open and close over a pool. At least one interlock switch is configured to generate a signal indicating whether the first cover and the second cover is in a fully open or fully closed state. A drive system is configured to open and close the first cover and the second cover over the pool according to a protection protection protocol based on feedback from the interlock switch and at least one sensor. In another example, the protection protocol is a freeze protection protocol. In another example, the protection protocol is a precipitation protection protocol.
POOL DOUBLE SAFETY COVER
An example pool double safety cover has an upper cover substantially impermeable to water, and a lower cover substantially permeable to water. An example pool double safety cover has a first pulley system for the upper cover and a second pulley system for the lower cover. Each pulley system has first and second pulley wheels at one end of the pool and third and fourth pulley wheels at the opposite end of the pool. Rotating at least one of the pulley wheels causes all of the pulley wheels of the corresponding pulley system to move either a first line connected to the upper cover or a second line connected to the lower cover. An upper track guides the upper cover to open and close over a pool opening, and a lower track guides the lower cover to open and close over the pool opening.
Flexible Net Dome for Outdoor Pools
A dome shaped roof structure for outdoor pools, both above ground pools and with minimal modification inground pools, that does not interfere with the use of the pool consisting of a plurality of flexibility poles supported by the pool, with a flexible tension ring holding the pole ends together over the center of the pool and a net fabric material that covers the pole and tension ring frame which is secured around the top of the pool. The roof structure works for all shapes and many sizes of pools providing protection from bugs and debris while still maintaining the outdoor experience. The high flexibility of the frame and tension ring allows winds and rain to flow thru without damage to the roof during inclement weather. The low number of elements that make up the roof structure make it inexpensive as well as easy to assemble, dismantle and store.
Tube for preventing water from entering a basin
A flexible and waterproof containment tube sits within a basin and prevents objects from entering the basin. When placed inside the basin, the containment tube is filled with a filling fluid. The dimensions of the containment tube are similar to that of the basin such that the containment tube fits within and fills substantially all of the basin. The outward hoop stress of the side portion against the walls of the basin evenly distribute pressure and protect the basin from damage, such as debris, rain or flood, water, or other objects.
Topper pool cover
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which comprises a cover, a set of frame segments, and a set of foam segments. The cover has a circular cross section. The cover defines a set of spaced slots disposed around an outer circumference of the cover. The set of frame segments is coupleable to the outer circumference of the cover.
POOL COVER ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEMS
A pool cover assembly includes a first encapsulation member defining a first side of a pool cover encapsulation, the first encapsulation member comprising a first mating feature. The pool cover assembly further includes a second encapsulation member defining a second side of the pool cover encapsulation, the second encapsulation member comprising a second mating feature. And the pool cover assembly further includes a corner endcap member comprising a third mating feature and a fourth mating feature. The first encapsulation member is coupleable to the corner endcap by the first mating feature and the third mating feature, and the second encapsulation member is coupleable to the corner endcap by the second mating feature and the fourth mating feature. The corner endcap member couples with the first encapsulation member and the second encapsulation member to form a corner of the pool cover encapsulation.
Composite based leading edge for a pool and/or spa cover system
Provided is a pool and/or spa cover leading edge that provides for minimal deflection across the width of the pool and/or spa, and in particular from 0 to less than or equal to 0.10 inches per 10 feet of width of the pool and/or spa. The pool and/or spa cover leading edge includes at least one fiber reinforced polymer composite with an axial length of from 5 feet to 50 feet with a linear weight per foot from 4 to 14 ounces per foot of axial length and an optional joiner for coupling together two or more composites. The composite includes at least one of continuous fibers or discontinuous fibers oriented at least partially in the axial direction and encapsulated by a thermoset or thermoplastic resin matrix. Also provided are pool and/or spa cover system and a method of reducing the deflection of a leading edge for a pool and/or spa cover.
Protective pool cover assembly
A protective pool assembly for protecting a pool from external debris or contamination. The protective pool assembly comprises a flexible cover and a bladder. The flexible cover comprises a top layer configured to resist weather. The flexible cover is attached to or rests on and protects the bladder. The bladder rests on a bottom layer of the flexible cover, or directly on the surface of the water. The bladder is inflatable via an air valve to expand the bladder in a dome-like shape. The flexible cover is pushed upward into the dome-like shape so that external debris, rain, snow, and ice shed off of the flexible cover. A skirt extends from a perimeter of the flexible cover to further direct the debris or contaminates over the side of the pool. A plurality of securing elements are used to secure the protective pool assembly in place over the pool.
Pool spring wrap
A pool cover spring wrap is described. The pool cover spring wrap can comprise a substantially rectangular member having two sides and a fastener. Various types of fasteners may be used. In some embodiments, the fastener comprises a first fastener element and a second fastener element. When the first fastener element is engaged with the second fastener element, the rectangular member forms an encircling member having a first opening on a first end of the encircling member and a second opening on a second end of the encircling member remote from the first opening. The pool cover spring wrap can be wrapped around the spring coil and the faster elements can be attached to affix the wrap to the spring.
