Dispensing systems
A system for limiting the flow from a dispensing valve when a dispensing cartridge is replaced with the system including a dispenser cartridge with a cam and a water socket with a flow limiter therein that is activeable in response to the position of the dispenser cartridge in the dispensing valve and operable in response to an upstream fluid pressure in the dispensing valve.
ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHLORINATION PROCESSES
The present invention relates to an electrode for electrochlorination processes, optionally operable under polarity reversal conditions, comprising an active layer provided with a doped RuTi catalytic composition.
Multi-stage dispensers
A multi-stage floatation dispenser for carrying a ballast, which may be a non-water consumable dispersant and at least one water consumable dispersant wherein the weight of the water consumable dispersant decreases as the water consumable dispersant is consumed with the weight of water consumable dispersant and the non-water consumable coordinated with the flotation capacity of a flotation dispenser to provide for either a two stage or a three stage dispensing mode.
Floating dispensers
A floating dispenser having an external float or an internal float for supporting a cartridge or cartridges for floatingly delivering a dispersant or dispersants to a body of water with the floating dispenser having cartridges rotationally positionable with respect to one another to control the rate of dispensing while the dispenser floats in an upright condition with the floating dispenser changing its flotation orientation in response to consumption of the dispersant or dispersants in the a cartridge to thereby provide a visual alert to replace a spent cartridge with a fresh cartridge. In addition, the inventions described herein permit changing the dispensing nature of the system from a multiple dispensing system to a single dispensing system without changing the floating characteristics of the floating dispensers through replacement of a dispersant in one of the cartridges with an inert or ballast material that has no effect on the water characteristics.
Pumping system and method having an independent controller
A system includes a motor and a control system operating as a master controller with respect to at least one function, the control system including an automation system with a user interface having a display connected to the automation system. A controller is located remotely from the control system and coupled to a pump or the motor. The controller operating as a slave controller with respect to the at least one function when connected to the control system. The controller is in communication with the motor and the control system, and transmits information to and receives information from the control system over at least one communication link. The controller operates independently to control the motor when disconnected from the control system.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONDITIONING WATER IN A TANK
A device is provided for metering at least one water-quality chemical in a water tank (1). The device comprises a metering duct (14) with an outlet port (16), a metering unit (13) for metering the water-quality chemical through the metering duct (14) and a control unit (12) which is connected to the water-quality sensor (10) and controls the metering unit (13), wherein the metering unit (13) and the control unit (12) are received in a housing (19) and a supply (17) is receivable in the housing (19) or connectable thereto and a carrier (9a; 9b; 24), to which a water-quality sensor (10) and an outlet port (16) of the metering duct (14) are fixed, is designed for insertion into the water tank (1), such that the outlet port (16) of the metering duct (14) is located downstream of the water-quality sensor (10).
Dispensing systems
A non-dissolvable immersible dispensing puck in the shape of a dissolvable halogen puck when the dissolvable halogen puck is in an undissolved state with the non-dissolvable immersible dispensing puck physically interchangeable with a dissolvable halogen puck when placed in a dispenser for normally holding only a set of halogen pucks to enable a single dispersant dispenser to be converted to a dual dispersant dispenser without changing the structure of the single dispersant dispenser by placing a dispenser within a dispenser wherein only one of the dispensers may be provided with adjustable water ports.
Composition and method for water conditioning
A water conditioning composition includes water; at least one gluconate compound; at least one carbonate compound; a non-ionic preservative; and a phosphate buffer. For example, the composition can include 87-95 wt. % water; 0.5 to 1.5 wt. % gluconate compound; 3 to 8 wt. % carbonate compound; 0.5 to 1.5 wt. % non-ionic preservative; and 0.5 to 2.5 wt. % phosphate buffer.
pH balancing dispenser and system with piercing opener
A method of adding pH balancing solution to a body of water includes the steps of coupling a pH balancing solution system to a circulation system in communication with the body of water. The pH balancing solution system includes a pH balancing solution dispenser having an upper dispenser body portion, a lower dispenser body portion, an interior support portion with a dispensing grid and a piercing mechanism thereon, and a dispenser lid. The lid of the dispenser is opened and the pH of the balancing solution is inserted inside the upper body portion. The pH balancing solution container is situated on the piercing mechanism and the pH balancing solution container is pierced on the piercing mechanism to open the pH balancing solution container. The open pH balancing solution container is allowed to drain over the dispensing grid. A metered dose of pH solution is dispensed to the body of water through the pH balancing solution system.
Operating protean water installation devices
Methods and devices for operating protean water installation devices connected to water installation controlling apparatuses and comprising two or more water installation device profiles, wherein only one of the water installation device profiles is enabled at any given time are disclosed. Family descriptor files are associated with the protean water installation devices and with two or more virtual descriptor files. Each virtual descriptor file is associated with one water installation device profile of the water installation device; a registry location indicating the enabled water installation device profile is read at the protean water installation device and a virtual descriptor file, associated with the identified water installation device profile, is executed to operate the water installation device.
