Devices and methods for monitoring water flow through a chlorine-generating or other assembly
Assemblies designed to facilitate detection of water flow in low water flow situations. In some embodiments, the assembly includes a channel that narrows from an inlet end of the assembly to an outlet end of the assembly to increase the velocity of water flowing through the channel. In some embodiments, the assembly may also include a water delivery mechanism that delivers water flowing through the channel to a flow sensor and enables the detection of water flow, even in low flow situations.
Apparatus and method for self-cleaning salt cell chlorinator
A salt cell chlorinator adapted to run a self-cleaning program by scraping off residual buildup, the salt cell chlorinator having: electrodes arranged a line within a housing, each electrode having: a round shape; a first face; and a second face; rotary wipers arranged within the line of the electrodes, such that each rotary wiper is adapted to make contact with at least one electrode of the electrodes, wherein each rotary wiper is adapted to rotate on the first face or the second face of the electrodes; a drive motor adapted to cause a rotation of the rotary wipers; a control panel adapted to customize the self-cleaning program to run at a predetermined time interval; wherein the rotation of the rotary wipers removes the residual buildup from the electrodes; and wherein the predetermined time interval occurs between occurrences of the chlorination program.
A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE MONITORING, ANALYSIS AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER AND EQUIPMENT IN SWIMMING POOLS
The present invention provides a method for comprehensive monitoring, analysis and maintenance of water and equipment in swimming pools, said method implemented by one or more processors operatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable storage device, on which are stored modules of instruction code that when executed cause the one or more processors to perform: accumulating and monitoring data from elements including at least one of: sensors, actuators, and breakers in and around the vicinity of the swimming pools; accumulating non-sensory data from a plurality of sources at a local processing unit; propagating said data to an online remote server, applying machine learning or rule based algorithms at the online remote server configured to incorporate all the acquired data and obtain an optimal policy for pool maintenance by providing recommendations, control parameters, and providing an online interface to access said recommendation/control parameters for at least one of: pool owners, pool servicemen, pool maintenance companies, pool vendors and pool retail dealers.
Chemical dispensing system
A chemical dispensing system broadly including a mounting ring, a connector ring, a water guide, and a dispenser apparatus. The mounting ring securely attaches to a water return jet in a swimming pool or spa. The connector ring couples the water guide to the mounting ring. The dispenser apparatus may be attached to a side opening of the water guide and broadly includes a housing, and a porous cover. The housing broadly includes an interior chamber and chemical exit openings. Sanitizing chemicals may be placed in the interior chamber. The dispenser apparatus may further include an adjustable basket. The housing may rotatably nest inside the adjustable basket, thereby regulating the sanitizing chemical dispersal rate. Pressurized water from the return jet flows through the water guide, creating a downward current within the dispenser apparatus. The sanitizing chemicals dissolve as the water flows downward through and exits the dispensing apparatus.
Pool and spa water quality control system and method
A water quality management system for a water installation containing water. In some embodiments, the system includes a water quality measurement module adapted to monitor the water quality of the water in the water installation and to send water quality information to a controller; a chemical dispensing module adapted to dispense chemicals directly into the water installation in response to signals from the controller; and a communication mechanism configured to provide communication among the controller, the water quality measurement module, the chemical dispensing module and a user.
Water valve and pool
A water valve and a pool are provided. The water valve includes a valve body having a first channel; and a valve plate having a valve plate opening and configured to control opening or closing of the first channel by sliding; when the valve plate is in a first position, the valve plate opening is aligned with the first channel and water can flow through the first channel, the water valve is opened; when the valve plate is in a second position, the first channel is blocked by the valve plate, the water valve is closed. The pool includes a water inlet part connected with a pool wall and the water valve detachably connected with the water inlet part. The water valve is simple in operation, has good sealing performance and switch function of the water valve and disinfection function of the chemical dispenser, thereby improving the water valve's performance.
PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
