ELECTRICAL INTERLOCK SYSTEM FOR SWIMMING POOLS
The Electrical Interlock System (EIS) for Swimming Pools provides the interconnection of the chemical feeders, main pool pump and flow rate in order to meet the government regulatory requirements. The EIS will have the ability to determine if the main pool pump is on, adequate water flow is present and vacuum pressure is within limits. In addition the EIS will provide GFCI protection regardless of electrical manufacturer and pool equipment manufacturer. Based on these conditions, the EIS will provide power to the main pool pump and chemical feeders or disconnect power as required.
CONTAINER, CARTRIDGE, KIT AND METHOD FOR SLOW RELEASE OF ALGAECIDE IN SWIMMING POOLS
Described is a container, a cartridge, a kit and method for slow release of algaecide in swimming pools. The container comprises: a hollow housing comprising a top portion with an internal cavity defining a sub-hollow space within the housing; an open bottom portion for filling the housing with the algaecide; and a lid for closing the open bottom portion of the housing. The cartridge comprises a container having a top portion comprising an internal cavity defining a sub-hollow space within the housing, that sub-hollow space comprising a dissolving powderous compound. The cartridge further comprises a dissolving algaecide composition cast inside the housing and covering the dissolving powderous compound. Described also is a method for the slow release of algaecide, and kits comprising the cartridge. Slow release of algaecide during an extended period with the cartridge is helpful in the main maintenance of swimming pools, particularly during the wintering period.
System and a method for comprehensive monitoring, analysis and maintenance of water and equipment in swimming pools
The present invention provides a method for comprehensive monitoring, analysis and maintenance of water and equipment in swimming pools, said method implemented by one or more processors operatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable storage device, on which are stored modules of instruction code that when executed cause the one or more processors to perform: —accumulating and monitoring data from elements including at least one of: sensors, actuators, and breakers in and around the vicinity of the swimming pools; —accumulating non-sensory data from a plurality of sources at a local processing unit; —propagating said data to an online remote server, —applying machine learning or rule based algorithms at the online remote server configured to incorporate all the acquired data and obtain an optimal policy for pool maintenance by providing recommendations, control parameters, and —providing an online interface to access said recommendation/control parameters for at least one of: pool owners, pool servicemen, pool maintenance companies, pool vendors and pool retail dealers.
SYSTEM FOR THE REMOVAL OF VOLATILE PRODUCTS RESULTING FROM THE DISINFECTION OF WATER IN A SWIMMING POOL
A system for the removal of volatile products resulting from the disinfection of water in a swimming pool, including a main channel arranged at an edge of a swimming pool and to collect overflowing water from the pool, air suction holes distributed along the main channel, the suction holes facing the internal volume of the main channel and being arranged at a height above the free water surface in the main channel, ventilation device configured to generate a suction flow of air from the suction holes. The system includes an air insufflation device arranged in the main channel at a height below the free surface of the water in the main channel, the air insufflation device generating a flow of air to strip the gases dissolved in the water in the main channel, from the liquid phase to the gaseous phase.
CHLORINE-GENERATING ASSEMBLY
Assemblies designed to facilitate detection of water flow in low water flow situations. In some embodiments, the assembly includes a channel that narrows from an inlet end of the assembly to an outlet end of the assembly to increase the velocity of water flowing through the channel. In some embodiments, the assembly may also include a water delivery mechanism that delivers water flowing through the channel to a flow sensor and enables the detection of water flow, even in low flow situations.
Publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style lagoon and method for providing efficient utilization of limited use land
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
PLASTIC OPERATING GRIP APPARATUS
An apparatus for securing a portion of a vertical line feeder in a fixed position relative to a horizontal water return pipe having a resilient plastic body having a curved lower portion dimensioned to be received by the curvature of the horizontal water return pipe and, proximate the upper portion of the body, a protrusion dimensioned to be received in an aperture located at the base of a vertical line feeder. The body is generally a triangular shaped cylinder with an upper curved vertex, a first lower curved vertex and a second lower curved vertex. A channel is formed through the body for receiving a hose clamp. The hose clamp secures the resilient body to the horizontal water return pipe.
FLUID CHEMISTRY MANIFOLDS AND SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are fluid chemistry systems comprising fluid chemistry manifolds. The fluid chemistry manifolds can comprise an inlet, two flow paths in fluid communication with the inlet, one or more probe apertures, and an outlet in fluid communication with the two flow paths. The one or more probe apertures can be configured to receive at least a portion of a corresponding fluid chemistry probe. The probe can be configured to detachably attach to the one or more probe apertures and fluidly communicate with the flow path. The probe can include one or more of a pH sensor, an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) sensor, and a total dissolved solids (TDS) sensor. The systems can also comprise an adjustable valve configured to selectively permit a predetermined amount of fluid flow through the at least one of the two flow paths.
SPA/POOL WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A mobile device reads a test strip to determine a chemical condition of a liquid or a user inputs a treatment plan into the mobile device. The mobile device transmits the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan to a liquid treatment system which treats the fluid in response to the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan.
Reactor for integral water treatment
The invention relates to a simplified modular reactor, where the method of purifying swimming pool waters can be carried out in an integral manner, where said method may comprise simultaneously applying the techniques of: oxidation-disinfection, ultraviolet radiation, and pH adjustment on the water to be treated.
