Pool stair assemblies and methods of installing a pool stair assembly
Pool stair assemblies having stair structures fabricated from plastic foam are provided. The stair structures include protective tread sheets and protective riser sheets and a vinyl pool liner mounted over the stair structure, tread sheets, and riser sheets. The stair structure, which may be buoyant, is retained in a pool by the weight of pool water on the liner and stair structure. Aspects of the invention overcome the disadvantages of conventional pool stair assemblies and ladders positioned on top of pool liners. Other related pool structures, methods of installing stair assemblies, stair structures, and methods of fabricating stair structures are also disclosed.
Supervised swimming pool gateway
The swimming pool gateway has a gate that is best operated by an adult and a banner demanding attention for the presence of a responsible adult near the pool when there are children in the pool. The gateway has a front panel and a back panel. The front panel comprising a gate, and the back panel being mounted between the pool and the ladder of the pool. The back panel has a recess in a top rail thereof for integrally enclosing the ladder. The gateway has fencing panels that are assembled using six bolts. The gate has an arch there-over, and an inverted U-shaped frame is pivoted to the arch. This U-shaped frame has a latch mechanism to lock the gate when the U-shaped frame is in a lower position, and the U-shaped frame displays the banner when it is rotated to its upper position.
PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. Safety pool ladder
The present invention is a safety pool ladder to be installed against a wall of an above-ground pool. The safety pool ladder comprises a ladder structure comprising a plurality of step members extending horizontally between a pair of side members, and a flat surface disposed towards back of the plurality of step members, when the safety pool ladder is disposed in a use position. The safety pool ladder also comprises a pair of side rails with channels formed therein to allow the ladder structure to travel along a length thereof. The ladder structure is adapted to travel along the length of the side rails, and rotated and flipped thereafter such that the flat surface is disposed towards front of the plurality of step members to dispose the safety pool ladder in a block position.
UNDERWATER PLATFORM INSTALLATION IN AN EXISTING SWIMMING POOL
A retro-fit installation modifies the existing pool ladder structure of an existing in-ground or above-ground swimming pool to support an underwater swim out platform structure. In some versions, the ladder rails of the existing pool ladder are used to support the underwater platform, while in others the existing pool ladder rails are replaced with new tubular platform rails specifically designed to support the underwater platform structure. Other versions are adapted for installations in a round pool or at a corner of a rectangular pool.
