Wireless swimming pool LED lighting device
A LED lighting device (80) is installable on a standard wall fitting (10). The LED lighting device (80) includes an inductive power transmitter (84) including a housing (146), a tee top (112) on the housing (146) including a flat inductive power transfer face (120), and an inductive transmitter coil (154) located within the tee top (112). A LED lamp module (86) of the LED lighting device (80) includes a LED lamp body (184) containing one or more LEDs (180), a threaded male portion (131) formed on the LED lamp body (184) and shaped to threadably engage the standard wall fitting (10), an inductive power receiver pad (132) located adjacent a flat surface (120) of the threaded male portion (131), and an inductive power receiver coil (166) located in the LED lamp body (184). When the LED lighting device (80) is installed on the standard wall fitting (10), the LED lamp module (86) is wirelessly powered by the inductive power transmitter (84).
Systems And Methods For Managing Bodies Of Water
A managed water system can include a first body of water contained in a vessel. The managed water system can also include at least one sensor device that measures at least one parameter associated with the first body of water. The managed water system can further include a circulation system that circulates the body of water relative to the vessel. The managed water system can also include a controller communicably coupled to the at least one sensor device and the circulation system. The controller can control the circulation system, and receive measurements of the at least one parameter made by the at least one sensor device. The controller can also evaluate the measurements using multiple algorithms, and communicate a result of evaluating the measurements.
Wireless power transfer method, circuit and apparatus
A method for wirelessly providing power to a LED includes: receiving an AC input voltage having a first frequency via a cable; generating a first rectified voltage at a first node from the AC input voltage, the first node coupled to a first filtering non-electrolytic capacitor; powering a driver with the first rectified voltage; wirelessly transmitting power by driving a first resonant tank with the driver with a driving voltage at a second frequency higher than the first frequency, the driving voltage having a sinusoidal envelope at the first frequency and approximating a square-wave at the second frequency; receiving the wirelessly transmitted power with a second resonant tank; generating a second rectified voltage at second node from a voltage across the second resonant tank, the second node coupled to a second filtering capacitor; generating a DC voltage from the second rectified voltage; and powering the LED with the DC voltage.

In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.

LIGHTED INFLATABLE APPARATUS
Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to a swimming pool having an internal lighting system. Certain embodiments may include an inflatable swimming pool including a wall and a base. The wall may include one or more inflatable chambers. One or more lighting elements may be interior to one or more of the inflatable chambers. The one or more lighting elements may be able to emit a plurality of colors. A color and/or intensity of the lighting elements may be controlled in accordance with a control command.
Adapter assembly for luminaire
An adapter assembly for securing a luminaire to a niche formed in a wall of a pool or spa. The assembly comprises a mounting bracket having a rear portion shaped and sized to fit within the niche and a front portion comprising a peripheral flange sized to engage the wall surrounding the niche. The mounting bracket enables the luminaire to be secured thereto and be visible from a front side thereof. The assembly includes at least one clamping device attached to the rear portion of the mounting bracket and configured to secure the mounting bracket to the niche. In a preferred embodiment, the clamping device comprises a clamping arm and drive member. The clamping arm is pivotally connected to the mounting bracket such that the mounting bracket is drawn into the niche and the peripheral flange of the mounting bracket is drawn towards the wall surrounding the niche.
UNDERWATER LED LAMP
An underwater lamp with improved light distribution for underwater applications. The underwater lamp includes a circuit trace having non-coplanar circuit segments, LEDs mounted on the non-coplanar circuit segments so as to emit light in nonparallel directions, and a lens. The lens includes lens portions aligned with the LEDs on the circuit trace circuit segments. The lens may be a thermoplastic material encapsulating the LEDs and the circuit trace.

Mounting apparatus for mounting an underwater light to a surface of a pool of water, comprising a mounting plate having a plurality of spaced-apart mounting apertures each shaped to receive a mounting fastener to mount an underwater light assembly to the mounting plate, and a plurality of connector apertures each shaped to receive a connector fastener. The mounting apparatus may also comprise a C-shaped bracket having a jet aperture shaped to receive a return jet conduit therethrough, the return jet bracket configured to be secured to the mounting plate. The mounting apparatus may also comprise an expandable width wedge assembly configured to allow the mounting apparatus to be wedged in an underwater niche. The mounting apparatus may also comprise an adjustable angle base assembly to be secured to an underwater surface, the adjustable angle base assembly secured to the mounting plate and configured to angle the mounting plate at a desired angle relative to the underwater surface.

A waterfall system includes a housing. The housing comprises one or more retention legs and one or more mounting arms. Further in accordance with this aspect, the system also includes a water sprayer, a water collection attachment, and a pump coupled with the water sprayer. Still further, the housing is arranged proximal a spa and is held in place by the one or more retention legs. Additionally, a water collection attachment collects pressurized water from the spa and provides the water under pressure to the water sprayer, which is mounted above the spa by the one or more mounting arms and sprays the water into the spa.
