Nested wind tower assembly
10738497 · 2020-08-11 · ·

A method assembles a wind turbine in a non-vertical orientation. The turbine has a nested wind tower with a plurality of tower sections, including a first inner tower section radially inward of an outer tower section. Each of the tower sections has a wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. The first inner tower section has a connection interface at or near its bottom end, and the outer tower section has a counterpart connection interface at or near its top end. The tower has a friction reduction member configured to reduce friction between the first inner tower section and the outer tower section as the first inner tower section is extracted in a non-vertical orientation. The first inner tower section is extracted in a telescoping manner until the connection interface contacts the counterpart connection interface. The method also secures the connection interface and the counterpart connection interface together.

A light section is positioned at the uppermost end of the last extendable boom section. A variety of safety features are also disclosed.

Portable multi-functional system and realization method thereof

A portable multi-functional system having a multi-functional apparatus customizable by way of devices arranged to respectively perform different functions, and a container arranged to be transported by way of ground, naval or air transportation and having predetermined external dimensions is provided. The multi-functional apparatus is secured to the container, and is arranged to take at least two types of layout: a first layout or transport layout wherein the multi-functional apparatus is inside the predetermined external dimensions and a second layout or lifting up layout wherein the multi-functional apparatus projects from the predetermined external dimensions of the container so as to realize a tower. The invention also relates to a method for realizing the multi-functional system.

Partition mount with integrated plunger assembly
10689865 · 2020-06-23 · ·

A partition mount system includes an integrated plunger assembly. The integrated plunger assembly is constructed and arranged to be integrated into an interior of an end of an extension pole, for example a standard telescoping extension pole. Mounting of the plunger in an interior portion of the pole in this manner provides for a sleek design that is relatively lightweight. Assuming that the pole in which the anchor is mounted is part of a telescoping pole system, the anchor and plunger do not interfere with full travel of the interior pole with respect to other poles in the telescoping system. In this manner, operation of the telescoping pole system is not inhibited by the integrated plunger assembly.

Guiding device for assembling wind turbine towers
10669736 · 2020-06-02 · ·

The invention relates to a guiding device for assembling towers and/or foundations for wind turbines, intended to enable and/or facilitate relative movement between a mobile element and a support element, at least one of said elements being a section and/or part of the shaft of a wind turbine tower or foundation. The guiding device comprises: sliding means that are in contact with the mobile element and allow the relative movement thereof with respect to the guiding device; securing means that connect the guiding device to the support element; and means for geometric adaptation disposed between the sliding means and the securing means, which allow load transmission between the sliding means and the securing means while at the same time also allowing relative movement between the two.

Stackable horizontal mast assembly

A stackable enclosure for support of a mast stored in horizontal position and rotatable to a vertically deployed position. The enclosure employs a housing have sidewalls constructed and arranged to support a plurality of stacked enclosures. The dimensions of the enclosure with wheels can allow for the transporting of thirty units on a single 48 drop deck trailer. The enclosure has a hinged lid to allow ease of access to the interior which can house a power system to operate a bank of lights. Outriggers positioned along each corner of the enclosure provide stability to the mast in high winds. A hinged axle can be used to pivot enclosure wheels upward, allowing the enclosure to rest flush on a trailer deck or ground surface.

A stackable enclosure for support of a mast stored in horizontal position and tiltable to a vertically deployed position. The enclosure employs a housing have sidewalls constructed and arranged to support a plurality of stacked enclosures. A telescoping mast using a winch permits manual extension of three mast members. The housing can include a power system to operate a light bank. Outriggers positioned along each corner of the enclosure provide stability to the mast in high winds. A hinged axle can be used to pivot enclosure wheels upward, allowing the enclosure to rest flush on a deck drawing a width of about 48 inches. Alternative the wheels & axle can be removed wherein each enclosure has a width less than about 30 inches.

Self-leveling Detachable Base
20200102750 · 2020-04-02 ·

A mechanical utility invention that creates a self-leveling detachable base that when attached to the member beam of the parent application U.S. Ser. No. 15,703,993, creates utility in its substantially different shape, mobility, multi-functional capabilities, and sustainability from its conventional counter part. It can be utilized as a means for independent balance, manipulate angular degrees, attaching to a sub-surface, and attaching to additional member beams. Additionally, it can be used with the expandable sustainable platform from the parent application. Additional utilities include, but not limited to: creating an arch way, creating a plumb and post without the use of digging and concrete, creating a means for a work to attach a beam without the need to for additional workers to stabilize during attachment. Thereafter, it can be used lend to a member beam the ability to install and uninstall and used again for like or different utilities, making the base and the beam largely sustainable.

Rotating light tower assembly

A mechanical utility invention created in the interest of the construction industry. The Sustainable Flat-bar Connection System to be used with the member beam of the parent application, U.S. Pat. No. 15/703,993. The sustainable connection system is reusable, can be temporary or permanent, can be used on all sides of the beam at once, can join plural beams congruently, and replaces conventional counterparts; strong ties, metal straps, screws and nails. It creates economy in waste compared to it's conventional counterparts, in that they often become damaged and unusable after disconnection and are then discarded in landfills. It can be utilized to join bulky construction materials together in a lamination style, in a post and beam configuration, and to create an apex between two member beams. The disconnection utility from member beams without the loss of integrity or damage to the system or the member beam making them both largely sustainable.
