A support apparatus includes: an extension member with opposed first and second ends; a yoke disposed at the first end of the extension member; and a foot disposed at the second end of the extension member.

A pole mounting system can be configured as a center drawn mounting system which allows the user to securely mount and adjust the inner stanchion in various rotational orientations about the vertical axis. The system also allows any electrical wiring or other conduit to be run up inside of the pole. Once the inner stanchion is fastened in place, the outer stanchion fits over top with a first disc on the outer stanchion interlocking with a disc recess on the inner stanchion, thereby preventing the outer stanchion from twisting with respect to the inner stanchion. Once a locking bolt is in place, the parking meter is fastened to the top of the outer stanchion. The present system is tamper resistant because the electrical wiring or conduit and the mounting hardware are not externally accessible once installation is completed.

The support assembly includes a body, preferably having an elongated configuration and a plurality of connector structures fixedly connected in outwardly extending, collectively surrounding relation thereto. The plurality of connector structures movably and removably interconnect one or more inserts in overlying relation to an outer surface of the body and along a length thereof. When the body is structured to define a support pole for an umbrella assembly, the plurality of connectors extend outwardly from the one or more inserts in movable engagement with a canopy activating hub, thereby maintaining a spacing between the hub and the inserts, concurrent to travel of the hub along the length of the body.

A holder for a pole of a basketball hoop system includes a pole sleeve for receiving the pole, a tightening system for securing the pole into the pole sleeve in a solidary relationship, and a mounting bracket to secure the pole sleeve to a ground directly or via a stake. A golf swing practice shielding umbrella assembly includes a base having a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge extending between the top and bottom sides. A plurality of legs is attached to and radiate outwardly from the perimeter edge. Each of the legs has at least one of a plurality of spikes attached thereto and extending downwardly therefrom. The spikes are extendable into a ground surface to stabilize the base relative to the ground surface. A post is attached to and extends upwardly from the top side. The post has a top end. An umbrella includes a shaft and a canopy attached together. The shaft has a bottom end that is removably extendable into the top end of the post.

Introduced here is an umbrella stand capable of securely holding umbrellas of various sizes, shapes, and weights. The umbrella stand includes a base and a holder portion. The base includes mechanisms to secure the umbrella stand to a surface such as ground spikes or suction cups. The holder portion is connected to the base via abutments that protrude up from the periphery of the base. The holder portion and the base are separated by a gap. The holder portion includes tightening mechanisms and a door. The tightening mechanisms help securely hold an umbrella handle or shaft and can adjust the angle at which the umbrella is held. The door, in combination with the gap, allow a user to use the umbrella stand with umbrellas with handles of various shapes and sizes.

The invention pertains to a portable fencing system that provides for easy and versatile positioning and removal. In one aspect, the portable fencing system includes sleeves that are pre-positioned in the ground so as to define a predetermined boundary suitable for a particular repetitive use. In another aspect, a portable fencing system that is without pre-positioned sleeves is described, which is more suitable for applications where the insertion of semi-permanent sleeves is impracticable, or where added positioning flexibility is desired.

A movable umbrella base comprises a housing (1), a wheel frame (2) disposed under the bottom of the housing (1), at least three wheels (3) connected at intervals to the wheel frame (2) and located partially under the wheel frame (2), a plurality of air bags (4) located inside a space defined by the wheel frame (2) and the housing (1), and a plurality of elastic members (6) limit displacement of the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the housing (1); when the air bags (4) are inflated, the housing (1) is lifted up relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the ground; when the air bags (4) are deflated, the housing (1) is lowered relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) and contacts the ground. The umbrella base can be moved by the air bags (4), the whole operation process is easier, and it saves more time and effort.
